These are great tips. I'm always in recycling mode with my closet and now with the grey hair transition I can redirect my closet to compliment what's to come.

When I first started the gray journey (almost 1 year), I purged all my neutral clothing that I absolutely loved wearing with my dark hair. I heard to stick with "Jewel" tones. It's difficult especially since I also like wearing a lot of black, but I'm improving. Thanks for the guidance! Can you please do one on eyeshow variety?

I have platnum blonde hair, with blue eyes and cool tones in my skin. I tend to wear pinks, blues, corals for me they work. I think grey you can look washed out, especially being fair skinned and more "white" grey
Charcoal grey is nice. Also, navy blue is my new black.

Can you do a video on what colors to wear according to skin tones? I have a yellow/warm skin tone so I was told to wear browns, yellows and oranges but I find they clash with my silver hair. When I wear blues and purples that compliment silver hair it clashes with my warm skin. Help! I don’t know what colors to wear anymore.
Mindi Bear Check out Jill Kirsh color. She is a stylist & recommends wearing colors according to your hair color. It works! I too have warm skin & cool hair but I find that the hair color is your strongest feature. I have brown eyes & used to wear brown liner but now I wear deep purple & it looks awesome! Have fun with it! I did! Am enjoying wearing the colors I always loved but couldn't wear before! (Esp blues!). Jill has a fabric color booklet you can take shopping. (Color swatches). It's on Amazon

I have salt and pepper hair with some grey streaks, I am a warm undertone with light green eyes, but my natural hair is ashy medium brown.. I feel like neutral and cool tones don't suit me either. Especially grey, white and certain shades of blue. Maybe I can get a blonde toner on my hair warm me up a bit lol. Or go to town with fake tan and bronzer... Need, coral , red, khaki green and brown , orange in my life lol

Linda I think that's a great idea you could also add in some black or white which is very complimentary to grey hair.
grey with grey is very aging and drab!
i personally don't care for cream, ivory or off-white with my salt and pepper hair. i seem to pop with bright white.

Wearing soft pastels like Pinks, blush, baby blues are great with white hair. Soft greys are also nice. You can't to add color but not too strong. A great way to see what looks best on you is to go to a store pick out a bunch of tops in bold colors, soft colors, white and black. Try them all on take a selfie in the mirror and then review all the different looks. When you see them through pictures it will give you a better idea of what looks best on you. I love doing this because some outfits that I think look good in the mirror when I see them after I have taken the picture I am not sold on the color or look. xoxo Hope this helps.

It seems that every color looks beautiful on you . I guess it helps that you are gorgeous to start with ! I gave away 5 storage boxes of clothes from my closet a couple of months ago . I really wanted to keep my many tan and kaki pieces, but maybe I should, if it won’t be flattering . I have way too many clothes , even after giving away so much . I guess I could keep a little , to soften the blow 😉

Hi Nikol...What about the chain color on the Chanel bag...Is it silver or gold? I just bought a Trendy wallet on chain, and it only comes in champagne gold hardware. The bag is black lambskin. I love it, yet because it is an investment piece, I want to be sure I am not clashing with my salt & pepper hair. I have green eyes and very fair skin. All the color books say to go with silver anything, though I am wondering if this champagne gold can work. Is your Chanel bag a silver hardware?

As a fellow brunette I used to love yellows and oranges. Now I can no longer wear them.
Now they are replaced with pinks and blues.
