Brittany also noted that at 14:55, in her opinion, Juliana is catfishing guys on hinge about her weight because why else would she be in such a rush to play catch up by going to the gym if she was being honest about her appearance. Her fat distribution is in such a way so that if she took photos from the shoulders up, you wouldn't be able to tell she is overweight. Lack of honesty on hinge might be her issue here.

The difference was that I stayed roughly in my league, "made up" for my average looks by becoming a very good cook and acting feminine, and went to the gym 5 times per week to keep the body weight at bay.

Your wife sounds awesome but her family sounds terrible. You should discourage her from spending time with her family or otherwise you should tell them to stop trying to drive you apart. There used to be a lunchroom crowd at work with several overweight women. All of them would not only bring in "salads" everyday, these salads consisted of nothing but iceberg lettuce and either no dressing or vinegar. All of them claimed that their entire sustenance consisted of basically lettuce yet they couldn't lose any weight. All I could think of is the amount of soda and McDonald's they must be consuming when not at work to maintain the figures they had.

Snacking is what gets overweight people. My GF is overweight and you have to really pay attention to what they do. They say "I dOnT eAt MuCh" but it's the little things, get in their car and they'll always be an empty soda bottle in there. We would have a massive dinner, a substantial desert then an hour or so before bed it'd be "fancy a bowl of cereal?" Errm, no I'm fucking stuffed from dinner thanks and it's 10pm 🙄 Also, if was sneaky, you could see her not only pour out a bowl of sugar encrusted cereal, but then sprinkle another couple of tablespoons of sugar over it and mix it all in. Overweight people 'hide' their excess calories very well.

Prior to her, I did come across a good amount of grown up women with the mindset of toddlers. @janisir4529 Yeah, exercise really isn't that effective for weight loss. Eating right is much easier when you cut out all the sweet things, refined carbohydrates, seed oils, alcohol, and artificial stuff. Just focus mostly on satiating protein and fat like steak, eggs, and butter. You'll find it's much easier to go longer without food, which is necessary to get your body in a fasted state to start pulling from your fat stores for energy. I did this last month and lost 10 pounds fairly easy.
You can be skinny on garbage if you just don’t gorge. Always been easy for me to get my calories in once a day, I understand this may not be for others, but it’s a way.

This type of woman makes me so mad. My best friend from high school is overweight and got dealt basically all the worst genetic cards in terms of looks. Instead of doing anything about that (other than applying makeup, but not doing it in a way an adult woman would and more like a girl in junior high who has no idea what she's doing - but she does at least put in some effort in that department, to her minor credit), she went out and married the first guy who would look at her. So to her credit, at least she was realistic about her prospects. She's pregnant with their third child and while he's nice enough and I get on well with him, he's pretty lazy, puts in no effort on his appearance(he too got dealt the worst genetic hand for appearance, although he's also gained a ton of weight since they got married), and is also basically not masculine in any significant way. He's on meds for ADHD and depression and now has also developed narcolepsy, so he's actually become a danger to their kids through a medical inability to care for them alone. I just want to grab them both and shake them so hard. Oh, and don't forget their daughters are being raised gender neutral, of course. 🤦 Before someone asks why I'm still friends with these people, part of it is because I hate living in an echo chamber and we have great conversations about things we disagree on. They hold tight to their ideology, but they're not offended by questions and neither am I.

You know when someone's doing it wrong when they say "I eat salad and drink water". They think that by eating something healthy it will neutralize the unhealthy things they eat. Once I went on a diet for about 2.5 weeks (+gym) eating only meat and some carbs in every now and then, no fruits and only the only vegetable was broccoli. I lost 6kg in that time period. It was not expensive, and the only thing I did was cut the carb and junk food

I don't know how old your daughters are but I just left a reply on someone else's comment about a book I read as a teenager (I'm female by the way) that really helped keep me out of that toxic modern feminist mindset. It's called self-made man by Norah Vincent. She unfortunately committed self deletion last year but the book was published in 2006 before all the crazy trans/feminism nonsense and it really opened my eyes and made me skeptical of people like the woman in this video and other people with this toxic mindset of blaming everyone else for their problems. It may be worth looking into and vetting to see if maybe your daughters should read it if/when they are old enough.
I recently fpund your channel. Ive been struggling with my weight for about 10 years following a car accident. I kept eating like i was weightlifting 5 days a week even though i wasnt and became well over 300 lbs (i stopped weighing myself at one point but i probably hit 320-330). For the past 3 years ive been working on losing weight and am down to about 255, lowest ive been since the car accident. I still have about 35-45 lbs to lose to get back to my weightlifting size. Ive been struggling with it mentally but your videos are eye opening. It even helped me realize some of the lies ive been telling myself to make myself feel better about my food addictions and eating habits. I know i dont eat healthy and i am working towards getting better at that. Tldr; thank you, your videos are helping me immensely, keep up the amazing work

I'm 43M and bald with awkward social skills. I'm not going to complain about stuff I can't control and what I can control is now a must. I go to the gym regularly, shave my head each week, keep up with hygiene, dress nice, and go to social settings regularly to practice the skills I'm regularly learning about online. Maybe all that only bumps my chances for love from 20% to 30% but thems better odds.
Being overweight for about five years. I got up to about 238lbs. It was excuse after excuse for me. I would tell myself I just can't lose weight. I was working out but not effectively. Most of it was boiled down to depression. Eventually I got it together changed my eating habits and really got into working out. I am down to 175 and probably need to lose about 10 more lbs. But the attention I get on dating apps is overwhelming now.

Congratulations, I’ve been on a similar weight loss journey, I was at 210 for a while and kept making excuses, but then I changed my diet two months ago and started exercising and I’ve lost over 15 pounds, and plan to lose 15 more to reach my optimal weight.

She knows I regularly work out, so I told her I would consider a relationship as long as she put in effort into herself into a healthy lifestyle (lose weight). All the years before, I could burn it all off, but over the year I ignored it thinking it will go away, but it didn't because my metabolism is slower (happened really quickly). I’m happily married. I still went and lost 25 lbs and I’m working on shedding another 20 from there. Because it makes me feel better about myself, makes me healthier, and in the case of a relationship, shows my wife that I care about my physical appearance, which in turn shows that I care about her desires in a relationship. She’s never been overweight in our time together, but she lost 5 lbs and looks even better. If you want to have a relationship, you have to offer the other side something that they want. It’s not like family where you’re kind of stuck with them.

It pissed me off so bad and I always said to myself: "If I just could step in and talk to her... but I can't." I always froze and wasn't able to say a word, I never even tried. But in fact there was literally no reason for me to be so scared of it and eventually I realized that I ACTUALLY CAN. Now I have no problem with socializing because I overcame my fears throughout the years and I finally got to a stage where I am confident that I would be able to talk to a girl I like without a problem. Fortunatelly in the process I got married so it is not needed anymore but the feeling of my restored and repaired manhood is still so good.

Dude , how did you get that example ? I used to be that guy who used to train harder on maths thinking it will make me better . But I always got the wrong answers 😂. The more I trained , the harder things got and I became more anxious. In the end , I had to accept whatever fate holds for me , I had to face it. I came out with flying colours. used to be 340 pounds men. Lost 100 pounds and i am currently on the last stretch to get a huge tummy tuck surgery. I have worked my ass off to become better and more attractive. I work on my style, hygene, getting my sleep and skincare. You can always improve. I genuinly think most people aren't super unnatractive they just don't take/have time to take care of themselves properly. I will be honest when you work 40h a week + go to school, going to the gym and dieting will usually take away the rest of your time and energy. It's harsh to become better but the good thing is learned skill/ aquired features are way easier to maintain when you finally have them
As a man at 17 I was 350lbs and when I said I got zero sexual attention I mean it. But instead of complaining about out over the past 2 1/2 years I lost 150lbs, put on a ton of muscle mass, got a skin care routine, started using good hair products and stopped chasing woman. Now I generally feel in disbelief over the quality of girls that find me attractive and even the quantity of woman in general. All it took was getting my diet locked in committing to the gym and taking pride in how I look.

I’ve had some serious morning sickness and I’ve let the house (and my health) go to shit. It was barely getting into a good routine before this pregnancy, but I’ve used it as an excuse to not eat healthy and to not clean as thoroughly and as often as I did before. I need to step up. My sweet husband deserves better from me, and so do our kids. I also deserve to do better for myself as well. Thanks for shedding light on this. It wasn’t til I saw her and thought “she’s not fat, she looks like me”, that it really hit me finally. I realized yeah I’m actually fat, I need to change this asap. I’ve been comparing myself to other women, and most I’ve seen are size XL or higher, so I thought being a L was alright 🫠 My husband says I’m hot at this weight too, but I know it would be a lot better for our marriage if I was healthier.
I don't know if this will be helpful or encouraging to you, but I'll try here. I'm not a mom yet, but I have a stepson and have raised him halftime since he was 2 ½. His mother and I have entirely different lifestyles. She smokes a lot and drinks a lot and is obese, where I love to get outdoors and probably run between 3-5 hours a week. Her relationship is also not healthy. She's tried to leave her partner several times in the last 7 years, occasionally leaning on me specifically for support in doing so which I'm happy to offer but she keeps backing out and reconciling with him. I've been married to her ex now for 9 years, and we are very happy together. So all of this to say her son gets to see both sides of what life can look like depending on whether you make good choices or bad ones. With that overly extensive background, what I would say to you is your kids will never care that you don't have a perfect body. What they will care about is that you modelled the best behaviours for them that you possibly could because that directly influences their outcomes in life. When people try to make lifestyle improvements, too often they fall into the trap of focusing too much on how it will improve their own self esteem or appearance. That's not nearly as motivating as taking the long view and remembering that all these choices you make now will impact your children. I hated all the family bike rides we took when I was a kid, or helping Dad split and stack firewood to heat the house in winter, but as an adult I'm now grateful for all of that. It instilled discipline in us kids. Today my sister and I both run successful small businesses (not this girlboss MLM nonsense - actual profitable businesses) and are amateur competitive athletes. I see my parents' guidance in both arenas as being vital to our success.

My husband eats whatever he wants (but obviously less calories than I do) and he stays slim between calorie intake and physical activity. I’ve been less physically active and eating the same as when I went to the gym daily, and it’s showing 😮💨 I already don’t smoke, drink or eat fast food, but I’m definitely making myself nachos too much 😂
She's really not that bad. All she has to do is spend a few months walking twice a day, with 8 hr interval intermittent fasting. Honestly if she made it a priority she could be hot in less than two months.

I look similar to what VS models used to look like and women seem to think that it's only genetics. One time one girl told me to stop mentioning the gym in her presence because it was unfair that I look like this and she doesn't, so it was triggering for her (she doesn't work out and her diet consists of really big amounts of unhealthy vegetarian food). On top of just health related stuff, I also spend a lot of time and money in haircare, skincare, and learning how to dress for my body type and how to do minimal makeup to boost my natural facial features. These things literally account to many hour per day. But when I say that, they say "I'm too lazy to do that" or "well I'm not as self absorbed as you". Then don't complain that 9/10 or 10/10 looking men don't approach you.
I'm thin too and other women have always insulted my body. I got told something similar too. She said she had to unfollow me on social media because my abs made her insecure. I mean, do whatever helps you mentally but she didn't need to announce it to me. I believe she only said it as a dig, to imply that I'm vain or being a show-off. (If I told you about the other crap that girl said you'd understand why I believe she was trying to be insulting). I get told I cannot express any sort of dissatisfaction in general, not just looks related, because I'm thin so my life must be perfect and every man throws themselves at me. I have a disability that isn't immediately obvious from the outside. I have to work out a lot and keep my diet very clean, not drink alcohol, not indulge too often, etc because I cannot risk a debilitating flare up. I don't keep up with my health to try and steal some random woman's man, like they love to accuse me of doing. How fucking shallow they must be to project that mentality onto me. I stopped associating with women for a long time because I became jaded from all the negative attention and snarky or even downright cruel comments about my body. Which by the way, no man has EVER told me that I look anorexic or told me that I'm unworthy of love because of my thinness. It's always women. A handful of men have told me I'm unattractive because of my small chest but that's it. Women are brutal and vicious. I am not naturally thin therefore I don’t like it when I was told that so was born petite. I wish I can stay 120lb while eating fast food and sweets but since I can’t, I run, hike, swim, dance, and cook meals from scratch. I am almost 60, retain size 4 in a swimmer body because I work on cardio fitness, muscle tone, and flexibility regularly.
Again, the problem is always that they price themselves out of the market. A woman average-looking woman who makes 50k wants an above-average-looking man making 100k. However, that same average-looking woman starts making 100k. She now wants a man making 150-200k, but still have him be above average in looks. They always price themselves out of the market.
She is overweight. Just slightly and as stated it would take like 3 months to be of the weight she thinks she has to be. You dont have to be 100lbs stomach in front of you to be overweight. You can be 5lbs overweight too.

Just going off my college days, having thrown a good 80-100 parties a year in a fraternity, she's the girl who has prettier friends, and they cluster around one attractive guy. She just got unlucky in the genetics department, has an inverted triangle body shape, and bad fat deposits, with most of her weight being stored on her belly. I was in a similar situation (except I was never as chubby as she was), and managed to land a husband that's pretty muscular and good-looking. There used to be a lunchroom crowd at work with several overweight women. @janisir4529 Yeah, exercise really isn't that effective for weight loss. Eating right is much easier when you cut out all the sweet things, refined carbohydrates, seed oils, alcohol, and artificial stuff. Just focus mostly on satiating protein and fat like steak, eggs, and butter. You'll find it's much easier to go longer without food, which is necessary to get your body in a fasted state to start pulling from your fat stores for energy. I did this last month and lost 10 pounds fairly easy.

This type of woman makes me so mad. My best friend from high school is overweight and got dealt basically all the worst genetic cards in terms of looks. Instead of doing anything about that (other than applying makeup, but not doing it in a way an adult woman would and more like a girl in junior high who has no idea what she's doing - but she does at least put in some effort in that department, to her minor credit), she went out and married the first guy who would look at her. So to her credit, at least she was realistic about her prospects. She's pregnant with their third child and while he's nice enough and I get on well with him, he's pretty lazy, puts in no effort on his appearance(he too got dealt the worst genetic hand for appearance, although he's also gained a ton of weight since they got married), and is also basically not masculine in any significant way. He's on meds for ADHD and depression and now has also developed narcolepsy, so he's actually become a danger to their kids through a medical inability to care for them alone. I just want to grab them both and shake them so hard. Oh, and don't forget their daughters are being raised gender neutral, of course. 🤦

Once I went on a diet for about 2.5 weeks (+gym) eating only meat and some carbs in every now and then, no fruits and only the only vegetable was broccoli. I lost 6kg in that time period. It was not expensive, and the only thing I did was cut the carb and junk food

It's called self-made man by Norah Vincent. She unfortunately committed self deletion last year but the book was published in 2006 before all the crazy trans/feminism nonsense and it really opened my eyes and made me skeptical of people like the woman in this video and other people with this toxic mindset of blaming everyone else for their problems. I kept eating like i was weightlifting 5 days a week even though i wasnt and became well over 300 lbs (i stopped weighing myself at one point but i probably hit 320-330). For the past 3 years ive been working on losing weight and am down to about 255, lowest ive been since the car accident. I still have about 35-45 lbs to lose to get back to my weightlifting size. Ive been struggling with it mentally but your videos are eye opening. It even helped me realize some of the lies ive been telling myself to make myself feel better about my food addictions and eating habits. I'm 43M and bald with awkward social skills. I'm not going to complain about stuff I can't control and what I can control is now a must. I go to the gym regularly, shave my head each week, keep up with hygiene, dress nice, and go to social settings regularly to practice the skills I'm regularly learning about online. Maybe all that only bumps my chances for love from 20% to 30% but thems better odds.
Being overweight for about five years. I got up to about 238lbs. It was excuse after excuse for me. I would tell myself I just can't lose weight. I was working out but not effectively. Most of it was boiled down to depression. Eventually I got it together changed my eating habits and really got into working out. I am down to 175 and probably need to lose about 10 more lbs. But the attention I get on dating apps is overwhelming now.

Congratulations, I’ve been on a similar weight loss journey, I was at 210 for a while and kept making excuses, but then I changed my diet two months ago and started exercising and I’ve lost over 15 pounds, and plan to lose 15 more to reach my optimal weight.

I'm 40 in a couple of months and have been lifting weights for over 20 years now and this year, I went a bit mad on the Christmas sweets and put on more weight than I anticipated. All the years before, I could burn it all off, but over the year I ignored it thinking it will go away, but it didn't because my metabolism is slower (happened really quickly). Recently for the first time ever I had a dadbod! I lost my 6 pack! So two months ago I stopped practically eating all sugar and now I'm losing the weight!

She’s never been overweight in our time together, but she lost 5 lbs and looks even better.

Yes, exactly. As a teenager, I was total loser and antisocial nobody that wasn't able to socialize, let alone talk to a girl I liked. It pissed me off so bad and I always said to myself: "If I just could step in and talk to her... but I can't." I always froze and wasn't able to say a word, I never even tried.
But in fact there was literally no reason for me to be so scared of it and eventually I realized that I ACTUALLY CAN. Now I have no problem with socializing because I overcame my fears throughout the years and I finally got to a stage where I am confident that I would be able to talk to a girl I like without a problem. Fortunatelly in the process I got married so it is not needed anymore but the feeling of my restored and repaired manhood is still so good.

used to be 340 pounds men. Lost 100 pounds and i am currently on the last stretch to get a huge tummy tuck surgery. I have worked my ass off to become better and more attractive. I work on my style, hygene, getting my sleep and skincare. You can always improve. I genuinly think most people aren't super unnatractive they just don't take/have time to take care of themselves properly. I will be honest when you work 40h a week + go to school, going to the gym and dieting will usually take away the rest of your time and energy. It's harsh to become better but the good thing is learned skill/ aquired features are way easier to maintain when you finally have them
As a man at 17 I was 350lbs and when I said I got zero sexual attention I mean it. But instead of complaining about out over the past 2 1/2 years I lost 150lbs, put on a ton of muscle mass, got a skin care routine, started using good hair products and stopped chasing woman. Now I generally feel in disbelief over the quality of girls that find me attractive and even the quantity of woman in general. All it took was getting my diet locked in committing to the gym and taking pride in how I look.
Good job! Wish more people had this mindset. Once you respect yourself everything gets easier.

I hooked up with a lot of women in the last 10 years…I did very well on Tinder too. What I learned is that most modern women who are attractive are incredibly vain, entitled, vapid, and attracted to surface traits. Watch a woman flip through tinder and it’s like rapid fire swiping to the left. I seriously don’t understand how women can act like men have unfair beauty standards when it couldn’t be further from the truth and it is OBVIOUSLY the exact opposite. My guess is that men didn’t find this girl invisible, it’s just the men she wanted didn’t want her. Because the men she wanted were 10s. I’ve had some serious morning sickness and I’ve let the house (and my health) go to shit. It was barely getting into a good routine before this pregnancy, but I’ve used it as an excuse to not eat healthy and to not clean as thoroughly and as often as I did before. I need to step up.
My sweet husband deserves better from me, and so do our kids. I also deserve to do better for myself as well.

I don't know if this will be helpful or encouraging to you, but I'll try here. I'm not a mom yet, but I have a stepson and have raised him halftime since he was 2 ½. His mother and I have entirely different lifestyles. She smokes a lot and drinks a lot and is obese, where I love to get outdoors and probably run between 3-5 hours a week. Her relationship is also not healthy. She's tried to leave her partner several times in the last 7 years, occasionally leaning on me specifically for support in doing so which I'm happy to offer but she keeps backing out and reconciling with him. I've been married to her ex now for 9 years, and we are very happy together. So all of this to say her son gets to see both sides of what life can look like depending on whether you make good choices or bad ones.
With that overly extensive background, what I would say to you is your kids will never care that you don't have a perfect body. What they will care about is that you modelled the best behaviours for them that you possibly could because that directly influences their outcomes in life. When people try to make lifestyle improvements, too often they fall into the trap of focusing too much on how it will improve their own self esteem or appearance. That's not nearly as motivating as taking the long view and remembering that all these choices you make now will impact your children. I hated all the family bike rides we took when I was a kid, or helping Dad split and stack firewood to heat the house in winter, but as an adult I'm now grateful for all of that. It instilled discipline in us kids. Today my sister and I both run successful small businesses (not this girlboss MLM nonsense - actual profitable businesses) and are amateur competitive athletes. I see my parents' guidance in both arenas as being vital to our success.
@@Ad_Inferno Thats awesome and I’m really happy for you! ❤️ I put way more emphasis on teaching my kids morals and good life skills than my health, but there needs to be some change, so they can see mom have healthy habits. My husband eats whatever he wants (but obviously less calories than I do) and he stays slim between calorie intake and physical activity. I’ve been less physically active and eating the same as when I went to the gym daily, and it’s showing 😮💨
I already don’t smoke, drink or eat fast food, but I’m definitely making myself nachos too much 😂
She's really not that bad. All she has to do is spend a few months walking twice a day, with 8 hr interval intermittent fasting.

I look similar to what VS models used to look like and women seem to think that it's only genetics.
One time one girl told me to stop mentioning the gym in her presence because it was unfair that I look like this and she doesn't, so it was triggering for her (she doesn't work out and her diet consists of really big amounts of unhealthy vegetarian food).
On top of just health related stuff, I also spend a lot of time and money in haircare, skincare, and learning how to dress for my body type and how to do minimal makeup to boost my natural facial features.
These things literally account to many hour per day. But when I say that, they say "I'm too lazy to do that" or "well I'm not as self absorbed as you". Then don't complain that 9/10 or 10/10 looking men don't approach you.

I'm thin too and other women have always insulted my body. I got told something similar too. She said she had to unfollow me on social media because my abs made her insecure. I mean, do whatever helps you mentally but she didn't need to announce it to me. I believe she only said it as a dig, to imply that I'm vain or being a show-off. (If I told you about the other crap that girl said you'd understand why I believe she was trying to be insulting). I get told I cannot express any sort of dissatisfaction in general, not just looks related, because I'm thin so my life must be perfect and every man throws themselves at me.
I have a disability that isn't immediately obvious from the outside. I have to work out a lot and keep my diet very clean, not drink alcohol, not indulge too often, etc because I cannot risk a debilitating flare up. I don't keep up with my health to try and steal some random woman's man, like they love to accuse me of doing. How fucking shallow they must be to project that mentality onto me.
I stopped associating with women for a long time because I became jaded from all the negative attention and snarky or even downright cruel comments about my body. Which by the way, no man has EVER told me that I look anorexic or told me that I'm unworthy of love because of my thinness. It's always women. A handful of men have told me I'm unattractive because of my small chest but that's it. Women are brutal and vicious.

I am not naturally thin therefore I don’t like it when I was told that so was born petite. I wish I can stay 120lb while eating fast food and sweets but since I can’t, I run, hike, swim, dance, and cook meals from scratch. I am almost 60, retain size 4 in a swimmer body because I work on cardio fitness, muscle tone, and flexibility regularly.

Just going off my college days, having thrown a good 80-100 parties a year in a fraternity, she's the girl who has prettier friends, and they cluster around one attractive guy. The guy has choices, and she's never picked because she's the least attractive one. She might get with one his less attractive friends, but, unless she gets a guy who has options, and picks her, she'll never be happy. If another dude picks her, but he doesn't have options, she might entertain him for a little, but she will then say no men want her. As if he doesn't exist. Just how it is.
