You sendt me here :D . I have also electric education and mechanical as hobby. But its all ended up to a job opperunety as a service engineer on CNC machines. But i mean 10 000kg 30m long ect :D Your DIY looks really good, to be honest one of the most industrial DIY I have see so far. :) nice
Hi, very nice build :) you have here. Most vid's related to Mach3 i saw were runnig WinXP. I've heard Mach3 is runnig only on 32bit machines is this correct? For myself i have a 3018 engraving chinese toy, just hooked it up to a bluetooth modul HC-05 yesterday, yea having fun with it. It is running GRBL so Inkscape and F- Engrave is a option. For 3D there is the BlenderCAM if some artwork would come up. Grbl sender is Candle and it's has some surface mapping that allows to mill engrave some PCB's. Cherrs and thumb up :)
With regards to 32 bit versus 64 bit, This is a 64-bit Windows 7 install. Mach 3 might run a little different when you’re using a standard parallel port instead of a USB breakout board. And since you’ve mentioned it I’ve never seen a parallel port the CNC that was not on XP or vista.
