I'd say ESPECIALLY Brazilians don't know shit about their cuisine and culture. And if they're from the mid-south they probably think the northeast and north regions aren't even worth getting to know, which is ridiculous since they're amazing.

So estou dizendo que o verdadeiro jeito de se comer, é como as pessoas do Norte comem , é q aqui nos já estamos acostumados a comer desse jeito pq é o sabor do açaí original,por isso que pra nós é estranho, comer com Nutella e leite ninho e etc...mas eu já provei com leite ninho e gostei,mas o meu preferido é como nos comemos aqui,mas eu respeito quem não gosta, acredito q seja com o tempo a pessoa passe a gostar, pois conheço pessoa q tbm não gostavam e agora tomam direto.
Sou de SC, comi rã no Paraná. Muito bom, tem um gosto de frango só que mais forte, é bem caro essa carne, por isso não é todo mundo que come. Deve estar custando uns R$120 o kg

my friend, you were lucky enough to have one of the best food related channels host in Brazil to accompany you in your experience. Many gringos, although with good intentions, lack the sight and the knowledge to go through the intricacies of brazilian lifestyle, and that makes all the difference. In Brazil the best and the worst run side by side and unless you know your way around, you might find yourself around the worst this country has to offer. You made it through some of the best bc of this local support and didn't disapoint. Enjoyed the experience like a true brazilian and not as a ringo who finds everything weird and foreign, like so many channels.

Here in brazil we have a lot of types of hot dog. In sao paulo we put mashed potatos and it is divine but in other states of brazil the people dont like

dude you need to go to foz do Iguaçu and stay in the mabu resort and go in the parque das aves and then in the falls or buy some calabresa,cheese,requeijao,onions and pão frances and cook the calabresa with the onion and put it in the bread, it is delicious.

I had a hotdog/hamburger cart on the beach in Macae'. I introduced them to American style chilidogs. They loved them. I gave the stand to a poor kid who helped me when my visa didn't get renewed. I miss Brasil.
I don't known, David, if they've told you, but here in Brazil there are 2 ways of eating açai. One of them is just like a dessert as you've eaten in the video and the other way is with salty foods (fish for exemple) and this is more common at the Brazilian North region - Amazonas, Pará... I liked the content so much, it's my first time here and it's so delightful to see foreign people appreciating our food ;)
