- In this video, our lead trainer Saket Bansal is sharing his views around WSJF in Scaled Agile Framework(SAFe). In SAFe, WSJF is used to prioritize features, capabilities, and epics. SAFe recommends a model that helps in estimating the relative value of Cost of Delay and job size. In SAFe WSJF is calculated by dividing the estimated cost of delay by job size.

@@izenbridge thanks for explanation. How can I implement this technique in scrum
@@Vihaan1415 One can use this as a part of backlog refinement if this is useful, so if your PO likes it, can be used in same way in Scrum backlog refinement
Thanks for making it so easy to understand

Well explained. I have a doubt we take the job first which has WSJF value highest then why it is called Weighted Shortest Job First?
Here is the detailed presentation n WSJF by Donald , it is not exactly the same which we do in SAFe, but in case you wish to know the history of WSJF, check this out : ruclips.net/video/OmU5yIu7vRw/видео.html

sir, firstly huge respect to you as I learnt a lot through your sessions.Question : if an RTE is doing prioritisation of the backlog using this technique, what is the role of Product owner or business owner here? I am only trying to understand whose responsibility is this in a safe team please?
In SAFe, the Program Backlog is prioritized by Product Management , Stakeholders (called Business Owner) , Product Owner and System Architect. In SAFe RTE role is not linked with prioritization, facilitation of prioritization is done by Product Manager.
