1. Turn on flight mode 2. Use personal mode (turn off notifications or keep your phone away) 3. Make it obvious to work 4. eat nutritious food 5. Time block the night before (One task at a time) 6. Choose yourself first
Putting myself first has brought so much good into my life. I get my fitness done before work, I take breaks during work, once I'm home I turn of my work phone and laptop. It has really helped me put things into perspective and has brought me a lot of confidence. Also confidence in the sense that if I promise something to myself, I will do everything to keep that promise because it's okay to disappoint others, but not myself.
It is so important to be conscious about the amount of time we spend with smart devices. If left unchecked, it can end up breaking down important relationships. Thanks you for sharing these tips.
I really like choosing myself first. It will make a difference. Putting my phone away for a few hours has helped me to focus on tasks that need my attention and accomplish them quickly. Please make more videos like this.
These are so helpful in my day to day! I cannot recommend them enough. Decreasing the amount of resistance in the tasks that I cannot avoid frees me up physically and mentally. I helps me put the bulk of my energy into what matters. Also want to congratulate you on your exponential growth! Some of the most insane blow ups i’ve ever seen on RUclips 🤘🏽
Your advice is simple and brilliant! Discovered your money advice vlogs (many of which I have been doing for years) a few weeks ago, but these 4 simple habits to incorporate into daily life are true gems! Please keep these suggestions coming! 👍🏻
Yes, please make more videos on this, you are a fantastic narrator, easy to listen to and straight to the point. It would also be good to have a video about "A day in the life of Nischa". Thanks for the nice content :)
I've been self employed for two years now and putting yourself first, or 'being selfish' as I call it is one of the most important things I've learnt as a tool for running a productive business without killing myself with stress.
Loved this sort of topic Nischa. You have a great way of explaining simple ideas but then adding the content and value rich detail. Also adds direct value for me as an adviser/ business owner. More of these please 🙏
Nischa, yes, I found this type of video helpful. Would love to see more videos like this. "Prioritize yourself before you let anyone into your mental space"...I never thought about my mental space like that - of others deciding for me what I think about instead of predominately deciding for myself . I will be taking that to heart, along with "Don't be like the rest of them Darling"! ;-)
Discovered your channel a few months ago, binged all your videos and now I can’t wait until you release your next! Short and simple and love how you explain everything. Thank you 🙏🏼
Yes, please, Nischa. This was very helpful. I’d love more of these. I have ideas for side hustles but am not finding time to get them going, so appreciate the organizational and time saving tips (I was pleased to see wasting time on the phone isn’t too bad, and it was great to learn how to check this). Love ‘put yourself first.’ And scheduling literally everything, the night before, to remove the decision energy from the next day and just spend the time executing. Also reminding us of the futility of multi-tasking. Fantastic. So helpful. Please do more of these. And keep up the book recommendations, please. Thank you!
I liked this very much and I would love it if you made more like this. I can apply these lessons for my child to teach en help her in how to be a strong woman like you. Thanks again
This really resonated with me Nischa. Chose yourself was spot on for me. If there is something I want or need to get done I do that first before doing other things that will distract me. That is excellent advice as usual. Take care. Larry, Ca USA
This was a different video yes but it was still good information to help people out everyday with small things we can do to be more productive. Thank you for this video Nischa.
Very very helpful video, thank you Nischa! Speaking of time management though, I still struggle a lot with maintaining my (small) RUclips channel next to my other business and am wondering how you managed to make time to produce such high quality videos whilst working your high demanding job. I would love if you could make a video about your workflow or system ☺
That was awesome! Thanks again for your invaluable work. It's easy to forget how time is the most precious and rare resource one have. Managing it is the key to success in many areas. I'm especially shocked at the multitasking numbers (always thought I was good at it 🤣).
It was a great video! Would love to see more on time management skills and habit development. Also, it would be great if you slow down ur pace and add little more animations in the video, so that it’s visually appealing.
Thanks Nischa, going to try put that change in behavior for mornings & do something for self rather than trawling through work emails & as a result in ball of anxiety before work day even starts 🙈
Great video, concise, well explained and so easy to understand, 👏🏽 Nischa. I started a course recently and it’s definitely a challenge to keep focus when you get messages or check emails, flight mode or switching off notifications is a good option. Also, I’ve found that before sleeping, thinking about the next day and important tasks, whether for oneself or for others, helps give the next day focus
Probably the Finance RUclipsr with highest level of integrity and authenticity. Yes, one should pay himself/herself first. In the UK, it should be a person's topmost priority to take advantage of the ISA and SIPP and allocate a fixed amount to them each month. One can divided it into two parts, one would be solid dividend stocks and the second part should be allocated to BRK.B stocks since it anyways provides diversification under its umbrella and has beaten S&P 500 over the past decades. And then leverage three key dimensions of growth(over the long term): 1. growth in price of stock, 2. The dividend reinvestment and also 3. the dividend growth.
Amazing video, you always give very realistic examples such as you mentioned that “you will finish your task by 10am if your manager asked you to…but for yourself, you will find many excuses” …very spot on 😅…thank you for the video…looking forward to watch all videos on your channel and every upcoming videos. @Nischa
Beautiful content and delivery. Thank you 🙏 Nischa. The path ahead of you can only be achieved through self commitment, focus, and discipline. Until you voice this oath to self your feet will be bound to the ground.
Great info! The white light our devices emit will also destroy eyesight and ruin sleep quality . Many individuals also end up having anxiety/depression and even panic attacks after being on social media for extended periods of time. So limit your time on these .Also, when you’re on the device be mindful of how you breath . Long shallow breaths for extended periods is a sure fire way to send your body into a fight or flight mode due to lack of oxygen and improper breathing .
Cool video and very useful tips Nischa. 👏 I think putting yourself first is imo the biggest tip. Taking out some 'me time' before taking on the cares of the world is crucial. . . you should definitely make more personal development videos with methods unique to you to give a new angle on personal productivity. Just a thought . . . 🤔
It was seeing my screen time that did it for me, made me take stock of what was taking up my time/delete the unhealthier unnecessary apps like facecrap and I have learnt to distance myself physically from my gadgets for long periods = feeling much healthier
Most people probably won't believe this but I don't care. Driving is almost completely automatic for me. When I was a cabbie I liked to show off by doing simple math in my head while driving faster than they could get the answer from opening up a calculator app. I've done it while keeping track of & participating in conversation. I argue that most of us are capable of some multitasking. It's not too hard for most of us to do cardio while listening to educational material. I once saw a woman that was jogging with her dogs (hands-free hip harness) while having a conference call on her headset. She was truly doing 3 things well at once. I exercise dogs professionally. If I am handling a well behaved dog that I know I will often read while walking them. Owners like to see photos & videos of their dogs so I get to practice those at the same time too.
Excellent video Nischa 2.5 Hours a day on social media. That's what it usually takes me to create a video, edit, write description, make thumbnail etc. You made a wise decision to dedicate yourself to your channel. Wishing you continued success always 😊
Very good start to my day. I’ve been using your videos to as part of my PSHE to sixth formers at a school. Keep it up. I’m a sexagenarian and you’ve defo taught me stuff I should have done 40 years ago! Keep it up. Been watching you since you had 20k followers. Amazing growth. Was wondering when you are going to take a break. Don’t burn out. We’ll all be here waiting to hear from when you get back. Peace out! Jules
Great tips, efficiently and well articulated 🤘🏻 Not sold on the efficient eating though, I don't think I could give up the time to make and eat something a bit more creative than Huel to get through each day's. Food will always remain one of life's small and relatively inexpensive pleasures 😁
Just smart advice , to help get all your ducks in a row as they say. Just have to keep life simple and that all starts with number one …… YOURSELF. NICE work Nischa
These are pretty useful habits. One of the most powerful thing one can do is improve/maintain the identity of oneself and then align everything with it. Something which even James Clear talks about in his book. It's the identity shift that really matters.
Skipping a meal IS good for you. They didn’t teach me that in medical school but it’s true. It helps metabolic flexibility and increases ketosis which is neuroprotective.
A clear and concise video. Your investment and personal advice has really helped me. Keep smiling. You have a beautiful smile. That,, combined with your vast knowledge of money matters, makes your videos fun to watch.
Drinking vimto while listening about Huel made me remember I had Huel and didn't drink that instead of soda . Gold Nugget in this video, pls do make these of videos too, as always amazing
Amazing video. I've been trying to switch from a lot of doom-scrolling to reading more. I noticed I felt off after endlessly scrolling twitter and other sites.
Nice video and I love Atomic habits book, BUT I am a nutritionist and whoever is reading this comment for your health sake please just eat REAL FOODS! 😅 These meal replacements are a business, food created by nature for humans is incomparable to super processed artificial factory made powders!
Yep, I checked out huel based on her recommendation and I believe the 3rd or 4th ingredient is canola oil. No thanks. I get the convenience thing though, but there are better products like raw meal, even though the macros could use a little tweaking.

Agree, so important!
Yes, more self-development videos! Growth starts with our mindset-it's key to everything. 🌱✨

Would love to see a video about your real state projects! I have started but still feel a bit lost and hear from your experience would be lovely ☺️
Same thing here, I’m also flipping and renting out, would love to see her cases
These are so helpful in my day to day! I cannot recommend them enough. Decreasing the amount of resistance in the tasks that I cannot avoid frees me up physically and mentally. I helps me put the bulk of my energy into what matters.

Nischa, I really enjoyed this video, my favorite part was "choose yourself first". Please go on with this kind of content! love U!
I usually do not like sponsor branding in between videos but only because you so smoothly sold it like a good investment, I'll try Huel! Hahaha :)
This was a different video yes but it was still good information to help people out everyday with small things we can do to be more productive. Thank you for this video Nischa.
Congratulations for reaching 500k subscribers 👏 This must be the fastest growing channel om RUclips for sure. Well deserved, well done 👏

Nischa, would you kindly post the reference to the research you mention on creative versus logical tasks? THat interests me a lot.
