Should you mix brands?

Problem dipping? Afraid to spill!

Good question. I have dozens and dozens of dip pens that I use all the time. But, they're not practical for carrying out of the studio. Plus, not dipping is a real time saver when you're on a deadline.

It's an urban sketcher thing, lightweight, compact and uncomplicated. Fountain pen, waterbrush, micro palette and a sketchbook, and your good to go.

You can soak the paper (with ink lines) in water and this ink stays put.

Was thinking other brands chemicals might ruin the base ink.
