I was able to get a sample of Yamo-budo and it is similar, but not as similar as I thought from swatches online, it is definitely darker (which I knew) but it also leans more towards the purple than pink, and it has some beautiful khaki sheen. Any-hoo, just thought I would post for those who wanted to see the actual comparison, or who were hoping it was a waterproof dupe, it is not really the same :)

I know right, that pink is so bright and rich - I have yet to ink a pen (none spare at the moment) but I wonder how light it will be? I also love the green + blue, one of my favs 💕 Thanks for watching.
Oh thank you so much for sharing this! The Freida looks (on screen) really similar to FWP Storied Blue, but I don’t know if that’s the case in real life (if you’ve tried that one?). I bought the Platinum Preppy in EF (02) yesterday to use with these inks, so hopefully I’ll be able to get some of these sketchINKs soon!
HI, Frieda is very different on paper from Storied Blue actually - storied blue is much lighter and has a noticeably more aqua shift where as Frieda leans more into the blue grey. Both beautiful colors but Frieda is more readable :)

Storied Blue is one of my most used inks from Ferris Wheel Press & because of that & after reading your comment I think I’ll definitely need to pick up a bottle of Freida (if I can manage to find it here in Sweden preferably, but otherwise I might order from somewhere else 🙈)

I actually got the those mini vials from a recycling center but you can get 5ml ones (the ones most pen and ink shops use for samples) from Amazon. So nice rendering. But how do you fill the Platinum Preppy ?
You can also use a syringe to fill a Platinum empty cartridge or platinum converter - here is how I do it for a Kaweco Sport, but it is the same procedure for the Preppy: ruclips.net/video/3UrRzqgNDUs/видео.html Hope that helps :)

I didn't really get an answer to the fountain pen side. I bought 3 different shades of this sketch ink to use for my 3 safari fountain pens with 3 different nibs: fine, medium and broad. I investigated thoroughly different brands before purchasing, and got to the conclusion that Rohrer and Klingner was affordable for me and safe. But half a year of using this ink, I'm very disappointed. The ink doesn't flow properly. The ink dries out and I have to scribble a lot before it's flowing properly again. Recently I followed an ink drawing tutorial and the instructor, who was an experienced ink drawer, showed us which inks are safe for fountain pens and which aren't. Rohrer and klingner was in the non-safe category!! What a disappointment.
So what can you believe when even the manufacturers guarantee is wrong.
Yeah, pigment inks can be tricky, and fountain pens do need a little more maintenance when using them because the pigment will create sediment that will clog your feed. I exclusively use them in my Platinum Preppys and Meteor as they have the 'slip and seal' tech in their caps and really do keep the ink wet for months - that being said, I can still see the pigment in the feed and it takes a bit to wash them out when I get around to it. I believe Rohrer & Klinger do recommend flushing your pens after use, which is not very sustainable, but I think this is just the deal with pigment inks. I wonder if using a little 'white lightening' would help with the flow issues, or whether that would negate the waterproofness? Might have to give it a go.

@@zinkadu it is an ink additive that helps improve the flow of ink in your fountain pen - Vanness Pen Shop sells it "Vanness White Lightning Ink Additive" :)
