I hit Solitude yesterday and I can't even believe how much more terrain PC had open compared to Solitude. Kudos to the snowmakers and that commitment from the resort!
Isn’t it wild how the video tells your mind a story with the van pulling up - it’s like ah yeah he arrived. You dont immediately realize he parked, placed the camera, backed up and pulled in again. Going the extra mile for cinematic effect ❤

Park City Holds a Especial Place In My Heart. My First Winter Sport Experience as A Snowboarder took Place In Park City. Although I changed to Skiing Later On, Have Great Memories There. The Mountain Can Get Very Congested On Weekends But, Still A Great Place To Be
the lack of sidehits can be frustrating but besides the gnarly runs I love the long blue runs at PC and canyons for chilling and skiing with people who aren't so good
I'm new to your channel, may I ask who are you exactly? A former skier myself, I enjoy your enthusiasm and down to earth reporting etc. and beautiful videos! I haven't skied in almost 24 yrs. , up to that point I had skied for about 30 yrs though. So seeing you ski and your comments bring me back to a time I really enjoyed in my life! I'll be 79 in January and wish I was out there on the slopes! I still walk & hike though! Again thanks and keep the videos coming.

When I heard about the Red Pines gondola upgrade, I thought it was for the chairlift that goes from the Red Pines Condos to the Canyons base. Looks like I misunderstood.

Wow there really is no snow. Seems like the opposite of last year where the US had buckets of snow and Europe had nothing, this year Europe is looking much better, but the US is looking bad lol
its still extremely early in the year! utah averages about 1200cm of snowfall per year, compared to 350cm/year for a place like zermatt. we will be fine :)
My first day on mountain last year was Thanksgiving and I hit 9990. AFAIK, this real is projected to be "average" which if so, means that there is going to be a point where we get some massive storms to catch up.

@Gabe-hy3in I’ve had christmas skiing where nothing above the mid mountain is open and I’ve had incredibly deep powder days before Christmas. They have excellent snowmaking, but if it’s too warm, there’s nothing they can do

What a difference a year makes. We were skiing 18" of fresh powder last year on 11/10/22 at Solitude. Pray to the snow gods...

Funny that free parking has become a luxury. A lot of the mountains around me have started charging unless you have 4 occupants in your car.
