Daly - I know your younger than me but not too much. My experience is gave it up 5 yrs ago feeling good only gets better. I coupled it with a lot of lifestyle changes around it…I do yoga and meditation plus “some” diet stuff (not super strict)..some spiritual stuff…and of course finding stoke as much as possible!!! Thanks for being open about it…hope to see u at a mountain soon

The raw footage is good in small doses mixed in throughout the runs with music, chatting on the lift, etc. Also, I can definitely feel the lightest of the Utah pow watching you ride. Definitely gotta get over there one of these days to see how it compares to the Tahoe sierra cement I'm used to ;)

Okay - have to comment since LMNT is being promoted in each episode throughout the episode. I’ll start by saying I have no conflicts of interest for or against LMNT. 1. Love Casey - and think he’s doing nothing wrong with promoting LMNT and getting paid to promote it. 2. LMNT - probably helps him = as he is a true high performance athlete - and his diet is on LOCK. As good as any pro athlete in any sport. BUT LMNT isn’t without controversy = and potentially, for kids and humans who aren’t as dialed in with their diet and exercise = whose sodium intake is WAY WAY WAY higher than required. Supplementing with excess sodium - probably isn’t what average people need. 3. The creator of LMNT = Rob Wolfe, is super well respected, educated, and knowledgeable - way more than me. BUT he has also been very focused on high performance athlete performance, NOT as much on the average population. 4. So - unless you are dialed in like Casey - and I hope we can all become even 10% more like CW - the man is a hero to so many of us: take time and become informed on LMNT - and really critically analyze if you need to supplement with 1g of sodium - or if the kids, slamming down French fries and hungry man meals = with 8g of sodium already = should be consuming more sodium. ok there is WAY too much to unpack here but just a quick 1-2... When you start putting the right things in your body, you stop craving the synthetic versions of "salt" you refer to in fast food/french fries etc. which contains a synthetic iodine in it that 44% of humans can not even methylate leading to other auto immune disorders. Table salt is not actually mineral salt it is synthetic and doesn't give your body the same results, unfortunately it cuts your insides and causes the "cholesterol" to close up the wounds in your blood stream causing "high blood pressure" not caused from the salt itself but from the additives and anti caking agents and such. I would never suggest not taking an essential mineral which we ned for survival, because of a poor diet that had overloads of the wrong stuff. When you put the right things in, your body stops wanting the fake alternatives and you begin to thrive! Not even mentioning that water can not be absorbed in the body without salt! BUT when i have a lot of real salty foods, my body doesn't crave salt like it does most of the time so at that moment i wont use LMNT, all about retuning your natural gut feelings to hear your bodys signals and act accordingly! YEWWW!!
Agreed - my hope is that the general public understands that, BUT my fear is that a vast majority will just supplement with LMNT and continue with the daily poor nutrition. I think when advertising LMNT - I would hope they’d push the fact that it should be combined with proper nutrition - and can’t augment / make up for poor nutrition. Great discussion. Thank you
