- Season 04, Episode 122: sup squad! park city mountain finally opened some more expert level terrain and in this episode, we head over to canyons village to check out ninety-nine 90 for the first time this season! i was extremely happy with the conditions and just how enjoyable the snow was to ski up top! we checked off a lot of the heavy hitters up there and just all around stoked to be back up at 10k feet at park city!

I’m so jealous I’ve been up twice this year but 90s been closed both times
whenever you think there's bad snow out west, consider that the northeast will be getting 3 inches of rain and 50 degrees monday. Always be grateful for what you have

I was spoiled last year with all the powder, AND it was my first time ever skiing and I got to in PC. Flying back there Sunday and beyond excited

My buddy skied McKonkey's yesterday on the day they opened it and the pics he sent me looked fantastic. Had been slightly skied out by patrollers but he found some fresh tracks. Exciting to see more and more terrain is opening. The new Eagle 6-pack opens on 12/20 at Solitude...
Yeah I heard mcconkeys was great too! The upper parts of the mountain have definitely retained a good amount of snow!

Heard about the furnace issues. Every camper van owner i know that has a diesel heater has issues. Diesel and cold and altitude don't mix well. I have propane, Propex furnace, going on four years (two years full time van dwelling) , subzero and above 7500' altitude, and never an issue. Like zero maintenance with propane. I'm still enjoying the stoke inspired videos! RonB
The last run down Red Pine Chutes gave a great angle from in front and above.

I love early season 9990. Haven't hit PC this year yet. Been stickin' to the cottonwoods thus far. Looks like PC is finally ready for a trip!
yeah PC is fun! a little bit more laid back imo than the cottonwoods but the snow up in LCC is still the best in the country by far

If possible, could you show the boundary of the Utah resorts? Where is the point where Park City - Deer Valley meet? Alta -Snowbird. Brighton - Solitude.
Be careful skiing trees in early season, especially the bottom. I still have a thromboses knot on the back of my thigh from fifteen years ago when I lived in Big Sky.

There is a difference between tree skiing and treeing;) I went skiing today.. First time in a month.. I am so glad I went..
Those bindings look sweet on those skis but it sucks that you don't have bindings on your old JJs.. It might have been the perfect day to bring those skis out of retirement..

your only option is to park at canyons village and either take the bus over to PC side, or take the quicksilver gondola over!
Definitely harder when the obstacles decide your line.
Red pine chutes is my go to on 9990
its definitely a sick run!
I went through those trees last year when I went and got absolutely flogged lol. Then I decided to go through them again the next day to find a better line and it was crusty. Miserable.
