The Canyons are my home mountain. As an intermediate rider, I almost always start on the top of the Orange Bubble lift, which you can ride left to the Red Pine Lodge/Saddleback lift area. Then branch out from there. Alternatively, Start from the top or middle of the Orange bubble, then head right to Sunpeak lift or Super Condor lifts which have blues/blacks only.
Thank you for actually showing and naming some great areas for intermediate skiers! Too many “guides” on you tube with titles like “how to ski park city in a day” or “a beginner’s guide to…” that don’t give ANY information.
Going to Park City for a birthday trip, and my first time out west in March 2025. Thank you for this video. Helps out a ton in learning what's in store for us Green/Blue riders.
Lookout Ridge is great (half way point of the Orange Bubble), especially at the end of the day (often will still have patches of corduroy on it at 3 pm). Very few ski it as Doc's Run is more popular. Apex ridge is fun (Super Condor), and Mercury (Iron mountain) is a great cruiser.
The canyons side of the resort is by far my favourite side. It always feels a little more quiet however on busy days trying to get up from the base can be a nightmare.
The place is so crowded!! The picture @ 2.07 is both bases, every morning. You're almost better off getting a leisurely start, rather than rushing out, only to wait in line for 45 minutes. Keep your head on a swivel.

I ski single black and sometimes double blacks, but i still love blues and i agree PCMR has the best blue terrain.
Going to go this season, but this is a great tour of the resort!
Thank you! We love Park City and it really is a HUGE resort which will take days to explore.

Thank you! Glad you found it helpful :)
Heading out again in January with my daughter. First time for real winter for us. We usually only get out there in the spring.

What days should I avoid?

What about weekdays?
@@nga7365 Weekdays are not crowded at all, except for fresh powder dump days.
