The TX 550H+ sounds great. I'm always a little uneasy with turbocharged engines, as they often have reliability issues. Surprisingly good fuel economy for so much power and comfort.
Same thoughts. My only concern now is availability 😂
@@pilot_nas looks like the 550h+ trim is gonna be a hit. Hopefully it'll be the bulk of their production. 🤞

The TX should have a naturally aspirated v6, leave the turbo 4s to toyota. I'm happy with the new GX , absolute fire 🔥 🔥

Absolute fire except the mpg.
this is exactly why I'm considering the land cruiser instead. the v6 has terrible mpg for a modern day vehicle.
Nice video thank you for posting this. I will wait for many years and see how these new engines and transmissions work out in terms of reliability. Not a fan of Lexus getting rid of the v-6 and v-8 respectively.
Would love the TX 6 cylinder non turbo for reliability but then they through a CVT into it. I CAN’T WIN.

I suppose no other companies Eurooean or American could match these two new Lexus's in terms of their ever lasting millages of half a million !
I have owned multiple luxury 3 row suvs and never owned a Lexus or a Toyota due to lack of power and limited practicality. I would seriously consider the TX ONLY if the 500h+ plug in version offers a 7 seat version - 6 seats only is an automatic no go for me

Thank you for you recommendations on vehicles not to buy . Your evaluations however leave out an important consideration. As you know many vehicles have only direct fuel injection that will cause intake valve deposits sooner rather than later and the fix is expensive. Toyota and a few other companies have a combination of port and direct injection that solves this problem. People should be informed of this and for me it’s a deal breaker.
TX front grill looks like shxt ( Lexus must have outsourced the front design to toddlers) and GX looks beautiful everywhere

Low MPG :(. Looks nice but would wait till 2nd year. First year always have quality issues.

The GX 550 looks too much like a Toyota 4 Runner or Ford Bronco. I will have to wait until I can see it in person to tell if I like it. As for now I think I'll be trading in my old Lexus for the TX Hybrid.
Why does everyone keep talking about how big the grand Highlander is it's literally smaller than a Pilot in many dimensions
Seriously it’s like as big as a Kia telluride. They act like it’s a midsize monster suv game changer. So spacious. Yeah squeeze in that third row lol
the gx is beautyful ...but hibrid i dont buy put a v8 on it
All this redesign, and they don’t place the rear wiper blades underneath the tailgate??? Wasted opportunity. Now we gotta deal with people yanking them off, or car washes covering them.
No Lexus Minivan yet? No problem with 3 rows if going with that Platform..

The asshokes aren’t putting a 2nd row bench seat option in the TX 550h+ 🤦♂️
Disappointed overall! That V6 WILL NOT AS LONG. TURBOS ARE NOT GOOD WAIST TO MAINTAIN.
Forget a 3rd row! Most people dont need that space. Just make a 2nd row that can be expanded and moved back for extra legroom!
Like me, not everyone needs that much cargo room and i would sacrifice cargo room for more 2nd row legroom in the NX and RX. Tight fit for men over 6 foot tall.
I think toyota is still trying to figure out how to make A rx phev. TX Phev will aslo take few years. Reviewers make more noice that what there is. Let Toyota announce new vehicles

The 2024 GX will give 17 mpg. That's 1 mile above the old GX. Disappointing.
My its god its not disappointing because people who buy suvs like the gx g class or defender dont care about mpg 🤦

Thats why there will be a hybrid. They should snag the PHEV from the TX tbh
You get one more mpg but give up a more reliable v8 over turbo v6 and 10 speed vs more reliable 6 speed.

Nx and RX Still rocket like a ship. The New GX what a terrible vehicle. And again this GX just a re-badged Land Rover Defender.
