Arrival of my mate's brand new 2011 Ducati 1198 SP from Access Plus Manila Philippines.
Bike was shipped by boat from Manila to Zamboanga.
Happiness on 2-wheels, period.

Nothing was wrong with the bike. It just happened that on this video, it was the bike's engine's first time to start and it took some time for it to fire-up. This is the second time I saw this happened in my own eyes, the first was with another Ducati 1198 of a buddy of mine.
It's all good men, scooters are my tools for making a living, I'm proud of them.
That is one happy little dude, hope it puts that big smile on his face for many years to come

They 3 race tracks in the Philippines that I know of. But here in our city they is none. But we have good winding roads. View my other videos to see us ride with our group on these roads, they are pretty ok.

This is his 2nd bike, if you take a look at the video response "No evidence HD 808 #11" that is actually him on a yellow 08 Blade and me with the on-board cam.

My buddy Kaz is mad about his SP, its his second bike, the first is an '08 Fireblade. At the moment the SP has the Termis on it, some carbon huggers.

@abad22 From what I know the the SP is a 2011 model while the S is a 2010 model. Then the SP has a lighter Aluminum fuel tank with greater volume capacity of 4.75 gallons plus add that silver stripe on it.

My new design bike
When I got my first ninja zx6r I didn't even know how to ride. I learn to ride with my bike without ever dropping it. My friends told me to buy 250cc but something told me not to because I thought its a waste of money and I'm glad I didn't. My cousin just bought a 250cc and after riding it I felt like i was driving 90s honda or toyota. I guess it comes down to handling power. If you're a responsible person go for 600. With power comes responsibility.
@SteelCityDucati on a bike. Cars and trucks? Have many accessories that can out run that bike in a matter of horsepower or speed. Also, we have trunks or if a truck, a bed for either carrying groceries to even carrying building supplies. I rather find your argument irrational and the way you spend your money not correct. You want to spend 60K in US currency on a imported motorcycle than spend 3/4 of it on a sedan and the rest on a cheap bike which you can modify. Depends on you.
@SteelCityDucati Hey well, thats your opinion. I don't know if you ever been to the US , nor live in the US with a family. You can't fit 5 family members on a motor bike. Maybe on a motorized scooter in Taiwan, which I have only seen them carry 3 at most. Also, we use our vehicles for different purposes, not just for racing on the streets or showing it off. You can be satisfied with that bike? Okay go ahead. I would love a 1198 as a toy, not as a necessity and to be dependent

you are right my friend, ducati sound is a "love or hate" thing. I have a 2007 monster 695, fourtunally I love the sound hehe.

If you can afford an aftermarket exhaust pipes, you could get better sound. In that video those roaditalia sounds awesome.

good lord, that is some serious amount of cash. As I recall this was shipped & wrapped like this for free on a 36 hour boat journey from Manila to Zamboanga City.
