- Well, we've already picked out an entirely hypothetical list of competitors for this World Cup. It would be madness to not delve further into the hypothetical and pick a winner out of the bunch!
After being built up to in the previous part, this will put the 48 competitors in this new edition of the tournament up against each other, in an adjusted form of the format, in order to pick them off up until the point that we've determined the team that tops the pile? Who will prevail? Which teams will have deeper runs than ever before, and which teams will crumble early? Find out how I think it will all play out right here!

That’s how the format should be. Really hate the 3 team groups. So some South American teams play 18 games over 3 years to potentially play just 2 games and go home. Doesn’t make sense plus the potential collusion on final round of fixtures.
I know, right? I don’t think there’s anywhere near enough justification to change it to sixteen groups of three over adopting a Euros-esque format with twelve groups of four instead. If you just look at the 2022 World Cup and how tense things have been with everyone being so close on points, that will just go out the window if they scrap draws and could already have the top two in a group easily determined before Match Day 3. It’ll just suck the fun out of the group stages imo
Maybe 3 team groups, but group A against group B, C against D, etc, and 1 - if an entire group lose every match, the 3rd one of the rival group is classified as the 1st in this group, and the 3 losers do 30min matches against each other to decide the 2nd place. 2 - if two teams in a single group lose all their matches, the 3rd one of the rival group occupies the 1st or 2nd place, depending on its points. It also would incentive victories instead of draws, as entire groups would have the chance of being classified.

This makes sense for the Netherlands to win. They barely we're defeated by eventual champions mostly due to dubious referring and did better against them than the actual runners-up, France. Great video. I knew I wasn't the only one who thinks the Netherlands will win 2026.

I really hope we get a first time winner in 2026 now that we can’t this year(unless England win ofc) but the 2 videos were extremely well put together, and looked like it would’ve taken a while making, really impressive

I disagree with several of these predictions like the group A ones for example, I'm more than sure it'd be Morocco and Japan that goes through and Canada ends up as one of those hosts that gets eliminated in the group stage, and I also think if anyone of the 3 hosts will go far in the tournament it'll be the US.

Never seen such an high level of prediction containing all qualifiers and even the matchdays and times that too of a tournament with 4 years to go

Personally, I feel like Switzerland, Mexico and Iran is an easy path to the semi finals for denmark after seeing what they've done since that start of the euros, but Switzerland's always a wild card, so tbf I won't disagree that Switzerland could beat them.
Oh yeah, I know full well how strong Denmark is as a team, but I think a match between them and Switzerland could easily go either way even a few years down the line, hence why it went to penalties.
Mexico are hosts and I feel like the side will be in far better form by then, so they would stand far better odds than they do now, but Denmark could still easily manage against them.
Iran obviously wouldn’t be too much of a problem either. I didn’t send Denmark to the semis though, because I already sent them to the finals in my last prediction, so I think sending them that far twice in a row might be going too far. It is definitely possible though!
How did Iran beat Canada in Round of 32? Canada has literally a strong team with Davies, Jonathan David, Tajon Buchanan and Eustaquió. But in CONCACAF, They have 2 top-scorers with Cyle Larin and Jonathan David. Iran have no chance winning against Canada in the R.of 32 in 2026. Because Iran has Mehdi Taremi, and bad people, but it’s a prediction, so yeah.

Glad to hear it! Definitely some interesting groups created for the Euro qualifiers and I’ll probably give my first thoughts on each one in a community post later or something, but whether I make a video about it yet is uncertain. I will have a poll going up tomorrow asking what people will want me to predict next, though, and the Euro 2024 will be one of the options, so if you want to see me predict that a few months from now, feel free to vote for it!

Nice Draw, But The World Cup Will Play With Sixteen Groups Of Three Each One
I’m aware of that, and it’s something I discussed in some detail in the first part of my prediction, as well as in the comments of that video.
To make it brief, though, the current format is pretty flawed, but FIFA have suggested the possibility of changing it to be 12 groups of 4 instead, which I personally think would not only improve the entertainment value of the tournament, but also lead to greater profitability for FIFA due to the larger number of matches required. Even if I’m wrong about FIFA making the decision to change to that, for the sake of this prediction, I feel like sticking with that format anyway, because it prevents the groups from appearing super predictable and it just seems like the better choice.

I'm Algerian and i would say that i don't think my team can qualify even with 48 teams, you can remove it easily from that list.
Don’t be too doubtful! I added way more unlikely teams to the list, like Vietnam, Georgia, Guatemala, and so on. They won their last five matches, some against relatively solid teams like Iran and Nigeria, and with the expansion in qualifying slots in Africa, I think it’s very likely for Algeria to make it in the end.

Sorry if that upsets you. I’m not trying to take any sort of stance on this situation, and to be honest I’m not informed enough to really make an opinion on it, but many maps, particularly those used for data collection, separate Morocco and Western Sahara, and so did the one I used as a template for this map here. That being said, if you live in the separated bit, don’t let me or this map stop you from supporting whoever you want to support, and if you identify with Morocco, feel free to support them!

However, I don’t really follow club football anywhere near as much as the national teams, and I actually held a vote a couple weeks ago to decide my next prediction, which will be Euro 2024, so I probably won’t make a prediction on the UCL. Hey, I never denied that this prediction could be far from anything resembling the truth, but when you’re predicting something like this four years in advance, almost anything seems possible.
