This concert was used in a movie, thats why the quality. In the movie each member had a fantasy sequence. Plants was in the rain song, If you watch the song remains the same/the rain song from this concert it will blow your mind. I know you did dazed and confused, but the 29 minute version from this concert (jimmy pages fantasy scene) will make you drool on yourself its so good!

Do you know why they did that instead of just straight concert footage? Fun fact: the cameramen were stoned and enthralled by the music and let the tape run out...more than once lol They had the soundboard, so the music was there. They actually went months later and filmed some footage miming, plus the fantasy stuff etc. You will notice on this song there are parts where it cuts to page flying up and down the neck, same footage in Boogie Mama solo etc. Also in promo to Travelling Riverside Blues. FYI

This concert at Madison Square Garden in 1973, was taped and became part of their movie, “The Song Remains the Same”. So any song you decide to react to from this concert will be visually very good. They also taped their concert at Knebworth in 1979. I’m not sure what the reasoning was, I’m sure someone will know, but Bonzo died within that next year, so if they were planning anything in the future, it never came to pass.

Bonham's death occurred just before a long US tour was scheduled to happen. Concerts were cancelled as a result of his death.

While a good portion of this song is from the MSG movie performance, not all of the video is, clearly some bits and pieces were edited together near-ish the end. If you want a full, uncut performance of this song, pull it from Earls Court. Perhaps the word you're looking for to describe their sound is "maturity"? Meaning, by this point in time, they've expanded their musical repertoire and skill set to produce different experiences. Their music is always a vibe for me. Why don't you try the first song off their first album? It's called Good Times Bad Times. There is the audio (of course), but also there's a live version from Denmark, 1969 and another from Royal Albert Hall in 1970. Which is better? Difficult to say; Denmark has a clearer view but RAH is slightly longer because they have a bit of improvisation in it. You can't go wrong with either.

Do studio instead of live unless you’re already a connoisseur
