    Watch 'UK Border Force - Episode 8' here: • Spot the Impostor | UK...
    An inside look at the functioning of visa team at the British High Commission in Lagos, Nigeria, a city notorious for visa scams and easy availability of fake documents. Immigration officers are tipped off about hiring of illegal workers at London's West End steakhouse restaurant. In Calais, officers find a Vietnamese hugging to an axle under a truck attempting to sneak into the country.
    UK Border Force follows the work of the UK's Borders and Immigration Agency as its team of dedicated immigration officers work around the clock to fight illegal immigration and secure Britain's borders.

      Same. Not very many people show compassion, empathy, and understanding for illegal immigrants. They think they are only here to scam our system, which they can't use without documentation. These poor people are usually running from something, and don't have the luxury of time to go through the legal process for immigration. My parents applied to move from the UK to Australia back in 1988. By 1990 they were still waiting to be approved. Just by chance, my mum met an Australian woman, at her job. Mum told her about their plans, and the lady just happened to know the wife of the immigration minister at the time, and contacted her to see if anything could be done. Two weeks later, we were approved.

In many, especially remote, cultures, dates aren't that big of an issue or the date of birth is of little societal importance. In other cases the date of birth may simply not be known, e.g. when people were born during disasters or emergencies. I have met several people whose date of birth was simply decided upon years into their life when someone first cared for it.

It said in the video that "a friend", quite possibly her bf, dropped off her passport so she wouldn't have to sit in detention. You're so convinced they are bad people that you missed that, or what!? Trolling??
      🤬🤬YOU are NOT a very nice person. I want so badly to say much worse things to you; However, I am not one of these idiots that invaded the internet but have no idea what Netiquette is. They say things they would never say in person, to people they know nothing about. Nope, I save the truly brutal comments for real life... mostly.
      😠😠You still posted a jerk comment. Her BF was not "running all that thing" . She stated that she and her BF, plus 8 other Ukrainian illegals share the home. Those people are her friends. They share a homeland and a struggle for a better life. It's also possible there are children living in the home with their parents. I dislike you, a lot. I can tell by this one answer that you and I would not be friends even if we were neighbours. Don't rewrite the video in amongst the comments!
      💛😀🪆 This woman was extremely brave. That officer told her a bold-faced lie and even tho her mind must have been in shock, depression, emotional pain, and feelings of loss all fogging up her senses, she knew dang well that he was telling her lies while looking her in the eyes. I am so proud of this brave, compassionate, beautiful woman for not giving up her friends in the home. As grim as it is, I really hope she takes advantage of the situation now, and gets to somewhere that's better than what she's running from. Perhaps she and her boyfriend will end up in my country. I would be proud to know she was here🍁.

    My children ( and i of course) livein Finland, citizens and all, but when they studied at universities full time they also worked. At the moment only my youngest one still studies for master degree at university, works FULL TME in a bank and studies. Moreover he lives in Helsinki but his university is in Waasa, which is like 4 hours by train. I m writing it all as why are the officers surprised that students work while studying. It is normal. The youngest works full time 40 hours at a bank, takes days off to pass exams, lives at the centre in a very nice apartment with his gf who also works full time at a bank and studies to be a lawyer.

    • @maddox0905
      @maddox0905 4 месяца назад +6

      It's normal to work whilst studying in the tertiary sector of education. However, international students who choose to migrate to a different country to study are granted entry into the said country based on a Student VISA pass. Student VISAs have their conditions; for starters, you MUST be a student. That means your main reason for existing in the said country is to study... not work. If someone wishes to work full-time and study part-time, they should enter the UK on an employment-based VISA or any other immigration pass that permits full-time work. It's unfair for foreign employees if international students are allowed to work full-time... since it's easier and less tedious to obtain a Student VISA than to get a Work VISA (at least for the UK). People would abuse and take advantage of that system.
