I don't know why border force thought it was reasonable and legal that he was studying just because he had enrolment and rental receipts. He couldn't remember the name of the institution he was studying at. He has been studying for close to 5 years and hasn't completed his course yet.
How many times have you gone to live & study where they dont speak your language? Could be he took a long while to learn english well enough to study and also to complete core requirements.
How could that woman not know she was going to her own wedding? They worked out some kind of scam. When he was caught , she blamed it all on him and feigned ignorance.

Just so You're aware in order to marry in Muslim /Islam the man's OBLIGATION is before marriage he has to pay Morona for marriage before the marriage can go forth, I'm married to a Bangladeshi Man and it is MANDATORY that he pays before the marriage can happen, so yes she was already given the Morona beforehand, she would have to revert to Muslim then move forward with the marriage.

The customer service discipline of these agents is absolutely excellent. I wish all police where like this. There would be less animosity towards them!
They are being recorded for the show so they have to be nice. It is a show.
It is staged, convinced…an experiment was made about 40yrs ago which depicted people were most likely to watch a show/series with cops/lawyers, judges/courtroom. You think the police encounter nice and decent law breakers? They are detested by the latter because they do the job…everybody cried was disgusted with the apprehension of I forgot his name in 1995 (I think LA), but it took 4 big officers to tackle this individual because he was so high on drugs (and I don’t remember what he did but instead of obeying the officers he decided to attack them).

As a person planning on immigrating to the UK, it has taken me some time to get all my documents in order. It's just bizarre that people think they can do it by just showing up and not leaving.
I'm guessing you're emigrating from a first world country. Let's just say procedures are not the top priority for most countries.

@@pigs18 lol no Canada and USA and the Common wealth countries deport people to each other all the time. I’m a dual Asian/US citizen and immigration laws are strict everywhere.
This is happening all the time in Canada. Young people come on student visas but never go to college then use the shelters to house them while they are applying to seek asylum in Canada. Toronto alone has a major problem with the youth shelters being taken over by asylum seekers and that leaves the youth who are citizens seeking a shelter has a small chance of getting into a shelter. Shelter workers can not report a youth who has no status in the country. So, here is dilemma, immigration against staying illegally in the country and community services funded by the government is for the non-status clients and sheltering them in shelters. Just stating facts and I am neutral in this.
But these countries should stop giving visas too. They make money too from these applicants.

The first time I visited my boyfriend now fiancé in the UK they didn’t stamp my passport and at the time I was just sad cause I wanted it as a memory. Now I know it can pose as a huge problem. I luckily have the tickets from going there and back and proof of being in England but damn

One of my male relatives was tricked into a green card marriage with an abusive woman and the required 2 children, he'll spend many years in misery.
Border agents in the UK 🇬🇧 are very respectful, here in the USA, it would have been a different story

The trouble with law breaking is that the offender knows he is breaking a law but hopes that pretending not to understand the language, law or his situation well, will give him an advantage. Plus there are lawyers who coach offenders on what to do in such situations.

A several years ago I took a USN sailor to get sworn in as a US citizen. I was shocked at the number of old men marrying young oriental women.
It’s happens a bunch here in the U.S. It does in the UK too but not as much.

Yup...you are right. UK & Canada are places where customs and officials are easy pickings. They come for pension benefits, free this, free that, healthcare. I know an asian who claimed she was a frontline waitress in a Chinese restaurant to get ahead of the vaccine queue...all the while with a science job in food quality sqf. These ppl have criminal minds and the officials interviewing them don't and actually tempted to believe them and learn the hard way.

In india, any law enforcement officer cannot put handcuffs to any one while arresting or taking someone to the courtroom even in rape,murder and terrorist cases. Why such a difference exists

I did soo much paperwork just to get a tourist visa to the UK, it almost made me cancel my vacay plan. I really don't get how, with so much security, people have the galls to go and simply not come back.
I am also going through so much paperwork to get a UK tourist visa, but after watching this video, I understand why the UK is strict about immigration. Also not to mention, Uk is facing a terrorist threat.
Does your country not have an agreement with the UK to automatically get a tourist visa? Why did you need to do so much paperwork?

I'm Australian and I lived in the UK as a Nanny on a working holiday visa. I took advantage of living closer to Europe etc while over there. I did one trip from Finland to Sweden on the overnight ship and they did NOT stamp my passport. I asked them to he said no it's ok just go through. I was dumbfounded. This was in 1997 so before the September 11th attacks in the US but wtf. I was annoyed as I wanted the stamp.

Not all places stamp all the time. I got my passport in 2006 and there is a chip in it that records travel, I’ve seen it used in Europe when I got to London. London has only stamped my passport once and I’ve been there a few times. I think they just use the rfid, it’s scanned and your pp info is displayed.
I've had the same thing. Departed the Schengen Area from Paris CDG in 2007. No stamp. Didn't think it was important. Entered Schengen at Venice VCE in 2012. "Welcome to Italy!" No stamp. Ninety days later I exited Schengen by train from Slovenia into Croatia. Just guys on a train checking passport stamps. Not sure who was the most nervous... Resolved by me remembering I'd kept the boarding passes and him making long phone calls.
ePassport is all well and good if you only travel through international airports.
Back then.. yepper... they were not as strict. 9/11 changed EVERYTHING!
I didn’t get a stamp in Sweden either because it was a Sunday afternoon and they had all gone home. This is in 2000.

Why choose the wedding day though? He should have been deported when he sent the application seeking permission to get married and it was discovered that he had already overstayed? This is just making a scene, isn't it? A waste of the money they spent and a total disappointment for the guests and family. Absolutely brutal.

@@blossomthame633it often takes a long time to arrange reportation, especially for just overstay. And they do not have the facilities to keep everyone so people are often released on condition that they will report to a police station at a later date but then they dissappear. This way they knew where he was going to be. And seeing the commotion he made imagine what a scene it would be if they tried to arrest him at home or work or in public. It was the best surest option. Then there is the added fact that arresting him there they can now also add trying to defraud the public system with a sham marriage to his docket that will expedite his deportation, which they would not be able to do had they arrested him at home or work. Additionally, it sends a clear message to others thinking of sham marriages that you can be arrested on the day of your marriage, which will help deter others from trying it.

If this happened in the U.S., he must have been with her for quite a while before they got divorced and her obtaining citizenship, because the U.S. has a law that anyone who marries a foreigner and gets them into the country successfully, if they separate or divorce with a couple or so years, that person can be bounced right back out of the country.

The guy from Jamaica rattles me! He is refusing to see it's only his fault for what is happening. He knew he was illegal, he knew with the marriage approval was the letter that stated he had to go get his visa fixed, he was even cautioned that he would be arrested if he didn't get his visa updated.

I've never seen an overstayer in the US get deported if they're married to a US citizen. There are several overstayers in the US. This UK system seems very different.

Only if they commit crimes and get arrested. Immigration is notified and they have a short window to pick them up to transport to a federal holding facility. Then it may be a while until the courts give them a date for trial. Meanwhile taxpayers are footing the bill.
Am very impressed how caring and professional these officers are !!! It would be a bugger of a job , dealing with aggravated and sometimes aggressive individuals ………

He wasn’t wrong. There is are schools in England called the business college. One is located on the major road called Oxford street. He probably only went to school and didn’t pay much attention so he could stay in the UK longer.

What is at fault here with getting transgressors back to their own country straightaway is the fact that Border Services UK cant get travel paperwork for 12 months. Border Services needs to get a bench warrant to stop leave and deport within 72hrs. Put them on the next flight out after custody and the family pays costs. Inform Border Services at the other end to pick up for questioning or collect off the aircraft.
It has to work that way. Tere is no other way that works. Let them know that what they are doing will not be tolerated.
I've never seen this, but the Jamaican man getting married seemed like a genuine mistake, bcuz they attached the paperwork to his marriage being approved(he definitely should've called someone to check on the paperwork, but probably thought it was an oversight that would benefit his long-term status).

Lot to be said for understanding and knowing how to invoke your rights. A simple "I don't answer questions" can help quiet immensely. Especially when cake in a few hours is on the line.

The Scottish Woman was all drugged & drunk and she should have been punished too. It takes two to Tango. Either she is absolutely illiterate to have not known she reached the Registry Office or She was too smart at the end and got away. She should have been fined 20 Pounds for every week she took that money since August 2007 times till the time she ended all of this at the Registry Office.
I live in Indiana and you hardly ever hear of border patrol or ICE "raiding" a business. I can remember one time that they raided Lowe's DC and they got hit with a huge fine. Yet majority of the factories hire illegals. I've met several that were great people and came for the right reasons, but I still don't agree with it.
They have in Indiana. Some Chinese restaurant like in the video. Chinese restaurants in the U.S. and the UK have hired a bunch of illegals. Hence why you see raids like in these border force videos of Chinese restaurants.
It should be easier for people to get a work permit.
I also live in Indiana, and I have heard it has to be a group of 15 or more before immigration will make a visit.
@@anything-goes6941 Nope. They can raid even if it’s just one person. Chinese restaurants raids I heard in Indiana weren’t big raids. They didn’t seem to have close to 15 workers anyway. I know businesses that have been raised with no illegals so someone called in the wrong tip.
