@@lynnbarker1019 with respect Lynn, I know everyone who is decent won’t choose this path for deportation.
Decency is alive when we act decently.
But the problem is deeper than it looks, see I am what you may call a Hindu, I and my spouse got married with all rituals which is video taped as per our tradition. It’s at least a week long ordeal; if I came tomorrow to UK with my wife, our marriage is not legally recognised. God knows what they will legally call our Son.
UK has lost track.. I sincerely hope one day soon the operations will be humane.
He definitely made a mistake by not having his papers in order, no issues there… but he was living there with your own society. And he got this treatment. I think decency is possible.. I doubt if he would return there and trust the legal process.
What would have been awesome was if the bride caught wind and accompanied him and got married to him on flight. That’s the kind of slap this system needs. It will happen one day if they don’t change.

This is happening all the time in Canada. Young people come on student visas but never go to college then use the shelters to house them while they are applying to seek asylum in Canada. Toronto alone has a major problem with the youth shelters being taken over by asylum seekers and that leaves the youth who are citizens seeking a shelter has a small chance of getting into a shelter. Shelter workers can not report a youth who has no status in the country. So, here is dilemma, immigration against staying illegally in the country and community services funded by the government is for the non-status clients and sheltering them in shelters. Just stating facts and I am neutral in this.

And they do not have the facilities to keep everyone so people are often released on condition that they will report to a police station at a later date but then they dissappear. This way they knew where he was going to be. And seeing the commotion he made imagine what a scene it would be if they tried to arrest him at home or work or in public. It was the best surest option. Then there is the added fact that arresting him there they can now also add trying to defraud the public system with a sham marriage to his docket that will expedite his deportation, which they would not be able to do had they arrested him at home or work. Additionally, it sends a clear message to others thinking of sham marriages that you can be arrested on the day of your marriage, which will help deter others from trying it.

What is at fault here with getting transgressors back to their own country straightaway is the fact that Border Services UK cant get travel paperwork for 12 months. Border Services needs to get a bench warrant to stop leave and deport within 72hrs. Put them on the next flight out after custody and the family pays costs. Inform Border Services at the other end to pick up for questioning or collect off the aircraft.

I had to assure with affidavits they would not become public charge. Since we were middle class in our country, we worked hard to accomplish the same here. It's unfair and in detriment to taxpayer what Biden is doing with immigration. Also, the mentality of young people against the flag; I lived under war and socialism.
