I just have my cat neutered and spayed today so i guess that is not a necessity. But im afraid my female cat is in a serious condition because she’s so tired and wouldn’t drink or eat😭
@@sweetpotatodeer take her to the vet!
@@juneuhm she finally eat. And she tried to walk but she was still dizzy from the anaesthesia i think. Thank you for your concern 💕💕💕
@@sweetpotatodeer how much time did she take to eat her food....my cat is getting neutered tomorrow so I'm a bit concerned 🤍
@@sweetpotatodeer and how is she now?
Please help. My cat can't eat or drink with his cone on what can I do
They can eat wet food through syringe only ofcourse you got to take the sharp part
Mine just got spayed. It was tough bc shes uncomfortable w the cone
Omg I need help my cat got her surgery today and is more restless then before she’s in a confine area but she will not stay still I was told to get a cat play pin ! And she has not got any rest and we been home for 5 hours she is still going insane trying to escape I’ve try to tell the vet it’s her behavior they recommend spaying which I wanted done so bad because she would spray on my bed frame and my sofa in the same spots multiple times a day but it’s her behavior!!! She is restless she needs to rest I gave her her pain meds and still going in circles ! When I try to get her out the carrier she sprinted out but is still wobbly I put her in the play pin which mind you is huge she has space to walk around her litter box is there and her bed and bowls and nothing is touching each other she is just as worse when we brought her in then she was before I am stressed out I have no clue what to do at this point it’s only day one of spaying and her attitude is worse
I just neutered my cat today definitely feel like I shouldn’t had but I hope his personality doesn’t change and it kinda make me sick knowing he can’t have baby’s. sometimes you can’t let people encourage you to things it might be deceiving, I love my cat a lot I only want the best for him.
My cat took out her sutures all on her own and I had no idea!! When I took her to the vet to get them removed the vet said the stitches are not there
what do you do if your cat is not a stray but lives outside and never wants to get inside?
I just don’t let my cat out, but I put a cat house in the window. Because she cries to go out at times, I brought a harness, but u need to supervise them closely. But once a day I will wrap her up in a blanket & take her around the block.
@@DW54x619x my cats have never been outside. How old is your cat? I ask bc I'm surprised she lets you hold her in your arms and walk around outside with her lol
@@verybessed2012 Lol she’s almost 1 years old! She actually starts purring when I wrap her in the blanket because she knows she’s going outside😂
I put the cone on my cat twice but she just went crazy and pulled it off :/ I’m worried she’s going to lick open her incision
Mine did the same twice. Got the cone off and tried to lick her wound. I had to tighten his collar a bit so her head wouldn't fit through. It worked. She tried to take it off unsuccessfully and then gave up. Today is day 3 with the cone on.
@@JEspin2024 how is she now?
same w mine rn can u help me out?? What did h do?
i need help my cat didn’t go home for 1 day and i was so worried then after he came home yesterday i was shocked because was bleeding from his behind and his testicle was cut in half what do i do? the vet clinic is very far from our home :((
How is your cat? I know I'm late with the comment, but I just picked up my mail and female from having their surgeries yesterday
the worst part is the fasting. i feel so bad for them cuz they dont know whats happening :(
How many days do you have to stay home with a female cat after being spayed?
A couple at least, it greatly helps to put your cat in what's called a "recovery suit". It's basically a body cover so that your cat doesn't lick its wounds. They really are better behaved with the body recovery suit than they are with a cone.
My cat was able to get out of the cone and the recovery suit, so I just have to hope she doesn’t lick it.
My kitten absolutely goes buck wild when I try to put his collar on, cone is a big giant "No Go," for him. I have to manually put my hand between him and his area when he starts trying to lick at it. I saw something about apple spray to around the area to prevent him from licking but my vet said to NOT use that. 😑 Vet recomend an inflatable cone. Yeah she don't know my kitten... he is SMART. That would be a giant waste of money.
If you can’t put a cone on a kitten after neutering, you’re either not trying or that cat completely owns you
@@machiel5888 ...or I respect my kitten and didn't want to make him feel uncomfortable and let him know I care about how HE feels. So if my kitten "owns" me, then fine. 🤷🏻♀️
@@BiltmoreGhost I hope your little kitty is ok but they have to have it on your their owner and it’s responsible to do so
@@dilrobertasn01supporter57 I had used the inflatable one and he wasn't as peeved about it. It gave him line of sight. Everything worked in the end. I did not use it 24 hours so that his neck could get air, taking it off while he was in sleepy kitty mode. And I was observant if he woke up, putting collar back on immediately. I was 100% being responsible kitty parent, TYVM...
What’s up with the CC lol?
When you say "confine", do you mean in a crate?
Why did they shave his fur off for neuter surgery??
My cat got spayed and it got infected. My vet gave her a shot and it didn’t work :/
Did she wear a cone?
@@theamazingpapaya6092 she wore a cone after the shot. She’s all healed since my comment ☺️
@@itsbrutalbunny Hi! I am having my kitten catered soon I was wondering about the after care. Did you have to change her/his litter? Also what cone do you recommend?
@@itsbrutalbunny for how long was ur cat jumping around after spay?
@@bacvasbacvas5377 im so sorry i didnt see your comment. but i hope everyone has a chance to see this reply. theres really no after care. just make sure its dry and intact. dont let the kitty lick that area. cone or a sweater helps. make sure you clean your hands first before touching the area :)
why is my cat laying in her litter box?
Same! No idea
my kitten just got nutuerd he is so so sleepy
I think it's time I take a break on yt...
Loool
Lol what happened to the caption in this video
My cat got ketamine and I didn’t I’m jealous
Wow I feel so strange I think I won’t neuter my cat...
You definitely should. It helps them so much. If its female she will go into heat eventually and sex for them is incredibly painful and just overall hard to watch ur baby suffer 😭. And if its a male well they can get into fights trying to get with female cats
@@catarinadls2074 but it's cruel. forcefully keeping a cat in the house and spaying her in a surgery. Wouldn't it be a torture? Rather leaving them in the nature so they can be their real selves. Imagine if someone spays a female human claiming it would be good for her!
@@vergil1444 no not at all! I have 2 outdoor cats and i got them spayed for that same reason! They love being outside but theres a few other male cats around that want to mate with them (mine are girls) so this just insures that they can be outside with no one bugging them
@@vergil1444 and trust me its not torture 💀 they are given meds and are taken care of as to not feel anything. It’s basically the equivalent of a hysterectomy
It is immoral to neuter and spay animals. Imagine yourself in that position would you want your own reproductive organs painfully removed at a very young age? The answer is no you would not. Then don’t do it to animals. It is torture. It is unjust. It is cruel. It is evil. It is sadism. Our society has some serious problems with the way we treat animals.
So murdering millions of cats and dogs each year due to overrun shelters is the answer? Or giving your female cat the risk of overian cancer, even though spaying lowers this risk? Go read a book.
@@ZombiexMuffins leave them in nature! Why kill them? I wanted to adopt a cat and now I won't. I won't hurt an animal to make it a suitable pet. Who the fk you think you are to deprive animals from one of the sweetest feelings/sex
@@vergil1444 spay/neuter is the best option for outdoor cats. They're considered invasive species bc they literally ruin the wildflife, if this procedure isn't done, most of the kittens that are born will most likely die... only a few survive.
@@vergil1444 fun fact humans are one of the only, if not the only species that has sex for pleasure. In the animal kingdom sex isn't for funsies. It's for reproductive purposes.
OR... we can just let them reproduce without control and wander around hungry, without a safe place, living on the streets, dead on the roads, mostly abused buy the "wonderful human beings", etc, etc, etc... 🤷♀️(*sarcasm*)
