    Learning to throw a cast net was a game changer for me. So much more fun to hit the beach with live bait

    Great info. I want to start catching my own bait but I think I'm going with a sabiki rod. Throwing a cast net is a little intimidating to me...lol!

      Ah ok. Gotcha. I understand. Check out some of the videos we have coming out soon on “how-to” throw a cast net. Throwing a 4K’ net is actually way easier than people think

    Excellent video. How about shrimp? Looked all over and never find an answer. How can you catch your own shrimp with a cast net? Like are there areas where you can go early in the morning with low tide, catch a dozen or 2 and head over to the pier or jetty.

      Thanks for watching. Shrimp are only around in the late winter early spring in So Flo. It’s usually at a full moon. Can’t really rely on catching them

    Great info. Can you recommend what type a net and size to get please

      Thanks. I would do a 6’ net with 1/4” holes for netting bait on the beach. It doesn’t need to be fast sinking

    This may seem like a dumb question but when you say 5-6net is that the overall radius or is it from the horn

    • @watchyourlip3209
      @watchyourlip3209  6 месяцев назад

      That is the radius which is the distance between the horn and the lead weights

    Do you need to have a bait fish endorsement on your license in Florida here in Vermont you do
