Anthrax is not only a band, but an icon in the music history. 🤘🏼
It still feels yesterday when Anthrax destroyed the Bundy's living room!! 🤘😈🤘
+esp ltd: Then they sang "Kookie Kookie Lend Me Your Comb" with Edd "Kookie" Byrnes.
@@JKTube but first, they ate Peg's aluminum foil wrapped, Mystery Package!!
@@espltd978 Why is it hot if it just came out of the fridge?
“The colors man! Let’s jam”
“Baby you’re the gingie-est”
Anthrax has never ever disappointed me as a fan! I proudly love this band! Thank you Anthrax!
We love you guys. Most of us are in our 40s-50s now and you are responsible for the greatest, crazy moments in our youth and now. WE must thank you for staying put all these hard days. LONG LIFE TO ANTHRAX!!!
I'm 45yrs old and I remember getting told as a kid in the 80's that I would eventually grow out of that "angry" music. But after all these years I can honestly say I love and appreciate Anthrax, thrash and heavy metal music in general even more today. Not just because I grew up on it, but because back in those days, to like this music, you were an outcast. You were immediately recognized and either feared or scorned for who you were. And when I would throw in some Anthrax or Megadeth or whatever, it would always make me feel that I was not alone. Although I'd have to say I probably connected with Anthrax the most out of all the bands from that era, and I think a lot of that had to do with the image they portrayed. Their music was dark and aggressive, but there was a fun, humorous side to them that really stood out for me too. You could tell that New York attitude was just different from the west coast stuff. Not only were they pioneers of thrash metal, but also in the realm of hip-hop and metal, which, in my opinion, blew the doors open for bands of any kind of genre of music to work with any other genre of music, not just hip-hop and metal. I can honestly say they were that innovative. Anyways, congrats on the 40 years boys!...and I can also say that it certainly doesn't feel that long. You guys will always bring me back to my youthful self and to the best damn mosh music ever made!... you're much appreciated for that. Thank You
Cheers
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Got into Anthrax during the Among the Living era. I was one of the very few black people in my hometown that listened to metal in the 80's. When they collaborated with Public Enemy on Bring the Noise that meant a lot to me. Showed me that this band stood for unity & that color didn't matter. I've actually experienced more racism in the black community than the metal community.
Took me 30 years to see you live. 104 fever and pneumonia and still managed to stand up and drink a beer. Seen you 4 times since and can't wait for the Corpus christy tx show. Got my tickets as soon as they went on sale. Thank you for great memories and still kicking ass.
The only Big 4 member releasing some of their best albums in their latter years.
No doubt. But i think i would add Megadeth to that, they've easily matched RIP a few times over.
Totally 🙂🤘🙂
I'd Argue Megadeth's albums have been just as good. Dystopia was a damn fine effort.
Absolutely. It's like their next album could be their best album.
Metallica's Hardwired ain't bad tho. It has some killer riffs.
40 years but Charlie is still in his 20's. How the fuck does that happen?? Haha. But seriously Thank you guys for flying the flag proud!!!
Frank looks much younger, he's in late 20s, Charlie in mid 30s😂
Hair dye and younger girlfriend ;)
Listening to you guys thank us for supporting Anthrax over the years made me think back to all the albums and a vhs tape my parents bought me in the 80's and how much I've enjoyed your music over the years. I want to now thank you for staying together and being there musically through the good times and the bad times...for all times. What a great bunch of guys you are, all of you from the original members of the band, the past members of the band and the newest...all of you. Thank you.
First listened to Anthrax when I was 12 years old. I am now 40 and still rocking out to their songs. I will continue until the day I die.

I've always loved how Anthrax seems like they truly and genuinely appreciate every fan that shows up. They'll be at a show where they aren't even headlining and they just go out, have fun and make the crowd go wild. Love them

I've been a huge fan since at least 1986! You guys have always been part of my music selection. As a drummer and singer thanks for all the great years! Looking forward to more!
AND WILL REMAIN THE HARDEST EVER!!!
Anthrax was my first introduction to the Big 4. Shortly followed by Metallica. Loves these guys followed them through Joey to John, & back to Joey. I used to play Bass and Frank & Cliff were my inspiration in the 90's to start playing, along with Steve Harris & Geezer. All I'm saying is Anthrax is a special band and as a 48 yr old Gen X metal head, Thanx for Being there. Whenever your 50 miles from Chicago I'm there. My 4 yr old digs the guys. 🤘 Horns up & Thrash on.

An offhand pickup of "persistence of time" in the record store back in the mid 90s was my introduction. Where have the years gone? Can't wait to see the 40th anniversary tour!
Best thrash band ever! When I was a kid in the 80s, there was Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax & Slayer. Anthrax was always the band, I listened to the most!! I will always love Anthrax, even in 20 yrs, when I'm 70!! 😍

Tengo 58 años y os sigo desde vuestros inicios.
Larga vida y un abrazo desde España..Metal Is Forever.
Love these guys, seen them the first time in weedsport New york, what a awsome show love u guys thanks for fueling my love for metal
You guys have gone from a band that I thought was cool as a kid to an actual driving force in my life as an adult. Thank you for ALWAYS (I'm 38) being there!
Totally agree, I was always the odd kid out in 88 at school, everyone one else was really into Metallica, Slayer or Megadeth. They all thought Anthrax was mediocre but I fiercely defended them. The arguments we would have were crazy, who was the heaviest, who was the fastest etc etc. I am now 46 in they are still my favourite band. I often chat with Charlie privately on Instagram, he is an amazing guy who I really look up to. The fact that my Idol actually takes the time to reply to me is just amazing. ANTHRAX are not just a band I listen to, it's like a way of life.
@@jamiewalton666 hahaha... Another 46er here. Same story except I don't listen to band so often anymore(that don't mean that I don't like them, quite the opposite, they sound even more fresh every time I hear the band) but huge respect is always here, through all their phases, all projects, always will... I can't say 40 years but can't believe that 33 years passed since I bought State of Euphoria (+1 more year of listening "hits" from previous albums recorded on one tape) Long live Anthrax ‼️
So what’s that driving force and what does it drive?
I look forward to 40 more, thank you.
You guys are STILL killing the game. Don't stop! AMONG THE LIVING 4LIFE!
i'm 43 and i love anthrax since maybe 86 or 87, always tought it was a special band!
Thank you Anthrax, for being the best metal band ever!
I got into metal around 1985/6 with Spreading the Disease. Incredible that Anthrax are still going strong. Love you guys! 😎🤘
Thank you for such a great show. You guys were tight and on fire.🤘🤘🤘
The livestream event was amazing guys! For me the highlights were In The End, Evil Twin, Now It's Dark and Blood Eagle Wings, and Chuck D coming on for Bring The Noise. Can't wait for my shirt and poster to arrive! Love you Anthrax!
Thank you Joey! Thank you Scott! Thank you Frank!! Thank you Charlie! Even though I've only been a fan recently...1988...hahaha! Seriously though thank all of you, you are always close to my heart. I love you guys!! (Special message for Scott. This weekend here in my town there is a HUGE mansion here in town that hosts weddings every weekend. Well there was one this weekend and i was jamming on Sound of White Noise and as i was driving by slowly because of all the people, i had to slow down, all i heard was your voice Scott.."have some Anthrax with your wedding as i cranked up my stereo. Those Humbuckers were growling!" 30 years plus for me to be spreading your disease... 😁)
Thank you and God Save the Queen
I'm proud of you guys. Hope that's not weird to say, but it's taken a lot of focus, clarity and perseverance for you to continue in this work for this span of time. It's a good reason to raise a glass. I appreciate you thanking the fans, and I also thank you for the music and for the experience. Peace!
The 40 stream was great I had 2 long time friends over for event .. we’ve all been fans since ‘86 Among!
We had hoped for an actual live stream performance w an audience and maybe guests Bush and/Turbin also Spitz among others .. all a no show 😔
But that’s ok we still all enjoyed it very much! ♥️ from 🇨🇦
Yep, that looked pre-recorded to me. Which is fair enough, considering the circumstances, but maybe don't promote it as a 'live' stream? I was expecting something akin to the Mr Bungle show from last Halloween, which was most definitely happening live (as was Obituary's earlier this year).
Also, like you, I was expecting some former members to maybe drop in (Lilker et al) but maybe it wasn't logistically possible. The ending I thought was a little abrupt too.
All this sounds like one big moan but I can assure you I thought the show kicked ass :D
Thank you guys for the music and inspiration! Hope to see you in the pit soon.🤟
thank you for never selling out!!!
Why would anyone give these guys a thumbs down?? Clearly those who do that don't have a clue what good metal is. Fuck the haters guys! Most of us love u!!
Thank you Anthrax for making my life not suck!!..🤘🤘🤘🤘
I am 47 - BUt I started listing to Anthrax Since I was 13.
Been with you guys since the EP. Loved this so much and thank you for carrying the Thrash Metal torch through the good times and bad. I have only 1 request....lets hear from Jon a little bit. Ive seen him many times and he nails those solos every night note for note. Hes part of the crew, lets hear his take on the journey.
I am very happy to have anthrax in my life
Fist full of metal my first album my favorite album spending the disease thanks for the ride through live freaking awesome.
Thanks Anthrax, Love from Ireland, with ye since 87. See ye on tour.
Congratulations on 40 years now let’s get that new album out 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Congrats for the 40!! Cheers!!
Nice guys too! Cool and down to earth. I was at the Seattle show!
It’s funny…back in 2002, the Stones celebrated their 40th anniversary with a massive two-year world tour, and there were all kinds of media reports about how unprecedented it was for a rock band to reach such a milestone.
And now, bands like Anthrax are hitting the same milestone, and it’s not earth-shattering news. I think it’s awesome that heavy metal can endure this long and the musicians can age gracefully along with the music.
Thank you for thanking me. 🤟
my favorite song packaged rebelion. Lets go for 40 more
40 years of coolness, great times, great music, and the mosh pit.
Anthrax is life, love the music 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Thank you Anthrax 🤘🤘🤘
Seriously well done guy's. I was really impressed with the live stream, it must of been a bit tough not have the energy from an audience..but I couldn't tell. The sound quality was amazing..I reckon you should record your next album live...I just loved that every instrument could be heard, especially the drums and even more especially the bass, Joey killed it too. Congratulations on 40 years and especially in the last 2 where I really loved Charlies YO! stuff..ANTHANKS
No no, guys... thank YOU!
Can't imagine my life without your music!
How can a guy From Yonkers NY, not love Anthrax. Hope to keep running into you guys at the diner.
40 years of thrash and glory......🤘🇨🇱
