Well fuck it here it is again ^^. Finally saw you guys live on this tour. Hammersmith, London. Living Color set the place on fire, then you guys came on and gave us a major kicking. All night I was waiting for Caught In A Mosh, had to wait for the first encore. The next few minutes are a blur. My brain caught up with my body and I found myself sprinting down the side of the venue. Staff were all distracted by the pit and I had a clear run. Up on stage, grinned at the crowd and started moshing like a loon. 10 seconds all going well, 20 seconds in I start thinking I might be getting away with this. 30 seconds in the hand hits my shoulder, I stop flailing as there were some fine ladies in the front row, suddenly I realise this guy is jumping on my back, so I went for it and started stomping. That was when I saw the microphone. I will always remember the tender way Joey screamed into my ear "You crazy English Motherfucker". He stayed there for about a minute alternating between singing and yelling in my ear. Then it was over, Joey jumped off he was at work after all. I turn throw you guys 🤘🤘 and exit stage front. Head first of course. I was 17. Still a Highlight of my life. Love you guys, Keep On Spreading The Disease.
Damn, I remember going to a record signing at a Tower Records in Southern California for State of Euphoria! Huge lines, tons of fans. I remember Mr. Ian drove himself. That shit never happens these days!
Tempesta is Anthrax family and only the old fans knows it. So glad you mentioned it. Also theres a great footage of Anthrax live at Donighton where at the end of the live they tear up and break the Speakers...you should have put that in this episode!!
This series is awesome. Great to hear the stories from all the members and their friends/peers. I’ve been lucky enough to meet all of the original members a few times. They are exactly as they are in this series, down to earth and really in it for the music and their fans. All are amazing musicians.
Thank You guys for doing this series it brings back alot of memories. I even will forget the time I approached Scott on 45th and Broadway on my way home from work and he shunned me! I forgive you. I have loved this band since 87 and still do!!

Nothing commercial about them sound wise kust sometimes legit bands are so universal that people feel them whom have all different types of taste. Living Colour man. Epic tour
I really appreciate the fact that the whole bunch of people who in anthrax have been mentioned or involved in these videos, I know we haven't seen Rob yet and the early early guitarist (who is always on RUclips complaining about Scott and the fact that his real 2nd name used to be rosenfeld,) and how he is the one who wrote most of fist full of metal, but yeah, thanks for doing this lads, it's great to hear from the people who are the band and the history behind everything, wish we could get something like this from slayer, sepultura, testament etc, but I doubt dave lombardo would like to work with kerry King again, but you never know.
That Not Man ad was in an issue of Circus in 1985 for Spreading. I took that ad and Scotch taped it on top of my brown paper bag book cover for my civics book. Greatest book cover ever!

Anthrax is definitely the best thrash band in the world
Anthrax is one of the Best bands Live and I have seen and worked alot of shows......
Can't wait to see you all back out on tour.......
Damn, I remember going to a record signing at a Tower Records in Southern California for State of Euphoria! Huge lines, tons of fans. I remember Mr. Ian drove himself. That shit never happens these days!
These docs are fantastic. I love all these stories and and the beginning of some of the lore.
I have loved this band since 87 and still do!!
i agree this is amazing, thankyou anthrax for being the amazing talented band you are and for not taking shit so serious, will never forget meeting you guys at an instore signing in new zealand persistence of time tour and i kept going back in line and managed to get both sides of the album, full size i am the law poster and my S.O.D shirt signed... my heart dropped when scott picked it up and looked at charlie and said should we sign this?? and the whole band laughed and everyone signed it! heres a tip for you kids out there when you get a shirt signed.... don't wash it!
This series is amazing. Over two hours of content so far with the band, friends and colleagues telling stories from the heart.
Awesome
Thank you for putting this up on youtube 🖖❤🎸🎼🎵🎶🎶👍🤙
My 1st concert ever. 13 years old, Birmingham NEC with Living Colour! Absolute class!
These just get better and better.
Anthrax Forever!
John Tempesta is SORELY underrated. Dude is a KILLER drummer \m/
That Not Man ad was in an issue of Circus in 1985 for Spreading. I took that ad and Scotch taped it on top of my brown paper bag book cover for my civics book. Greatest book cover ever!
This Band kicks ass! Haven't seen them since 89 or 90 . But..... I'm going back just a bit older.....
I will watch all of these vids!!! Anthrax rules!!! Keep them coming, uh, please.
Da da da da da, NOT! 🤘😵💫🤘 Love the NOT MAN!!!!
thank you !
Awesome artwork!
Amazing series
Great series!!! And agree with another earlier post, these are getting me to revisit the albums and listen again and it's been.a great trip down memory lane. I'm surprised they didn't mention the HBB tour they did with Exodus and Helloween in 89 for SOE.
Got in touch with you during this tour. Saw you in Bremen, Germany. At least, you are the reason why I`m sure that music is the most important thing in life. Thanks for having you!
They had Suicidal Tendencies as their support on the continent, right?
And wasn't their an European tour they did with Celtic Frost and Crimson Glory?
@@herbertwest9626 you are right. It was the first of June 1989.
@@germarhoffmeister2752 Suicidal as support or Celtic Frost?
@@herbertwest9626 This night they played together with Suicidal and they were also great.
It is the best I ve been lovin it
I begun being Anthrax fan with "Penikufesin" and then "State". In my oppinion, "State" is the 2nd best álbum after "Among". I really miss those times!
Thanks, brothers!
Cheers from Portugal 🍺🤘🇵🇹
Thank you guys for talking about this ❤️
Scott ian running around the stage in the SFX DUBLIN IRELAND on the DAMAGE INC IN 86 everybody screaming NOT, FUCKING BRILLIANT. So much repect for that band, both bands to me were headliners,
they gave it their all to the
Irish fans ,so happy and privileged to be there at that show. 🇨🇮🤟💀🤟🇨🇮
First big gig was SOE in Edinburgh Scotland. Came home with the NOT man big ben shirt. SMMFD on the back. Thanks for the Energy
sonically the album is very interesting. lush guitars and those sizzling hi hats, bass drum and snare crush u into oblivion
Wish I was old enough to catch those tours!
I'm well aware, I'm speaking of the shows from the 80s.
It just keeps coming. Thank you so much :)
Can’t wait for next week. For me Persistence is the culmination....the pinnacle....the apex.....the apogee.
This was the first album of Anthrax that I heard. Big fan since then! Anthrax doesn't have a bad record. Good to know they are still going strong to this day. Lovin this series of videos!!
Loving these...👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
I saw Infectious Grooves support Anthrax on the 'Stomp 442' tour in Australia. I'll write more about that show if they ever get to that album on these videos. Because it was a doozy.
I would've loved to have seen that show. Wow
