    Clever trick to use the small blower on the interior! I have the same one (branded Metro Vac Sidekick) and have never thought it could be used inside... so I learned a lot today :)

    Great video and thank you for showing detailers who are not experienced with heavy soiled carpets how to clean them professionally and in a safe manner. It's hard work cleaning a soiled vehicle but a trained professional can work Miracles! Great Job Chelsea! I like the comment about CO2 poisoning and I use Mr. Clean magic eraser to clean and decontaminate the interior and exterior of the glass and windshield. Great video and thank you!

    Excellent work as you always do. The yarn in those seats and floors were heavily soiled and it took knowledge and patience to clean the yarn. A lot of people would have soaked the padding in the seats and then wondered why is smells moldy inside. Thank you for the video and great job!

    Excellent video with some great tips. The scrub Ninja sprayed with P&S Xpress is my go to on interior plastics, especially the steering wheel. The first time I cleaned the interior of my car after purchasing, I was shocked at how much disgusting filth I pulled from the steering wheel.

    Good video. A few thoughts from a 38 yr detailer at a jeep dealership and 3 yrs as a side business owner. In the mid 90s to early 2000s Chrysler had a wicking issue with seat cushions, not the fabric its self . It got to be such a issue that Chrysler put out a tsb on cleaning them . They suggested at the time to use dish soap and warm water . As far as headliner my go to is norwex powder laundry detergent table spoon or so to a qt . Works awesome. Actually it works great on any surface. 60 degrees ! Heaven ! I'm in vt and have a ft of snow on the ground with another storm coming today / tonight , 1/25 . Take care .

    I use a similar method for headliners except I use a carpet foam(Megs from Walmart) I prefer foam on headliner so there’s less chance of over saturation. I use a microfiber pad as well but on a hyper tough cordless sander from Walmart(only $56) so no bs from a cord. Lol

    • @attention2detailswchelsea

      Imo it’s way better. I wasn’t that impressed with the p&s products for heavy staining. For light stains it was fine but I get vehicles that typically require more work

    When would you use Rocket Revive It vs Surround OmegaCitrus or OmegaZyme? And what dilution ratios are you using? Thanks!

    • @attention2detailswchelsea
      @attention2detailswchelsea  Год назад

      Surround or Omegazyme are for smellier soils like body odor or urine or food spills that could sour. Bonnet pro for everything else at a 5:1 ratio for all

    Chelsea, how do you clean your drill brushes? I've noticed my drill brushes will take on the stench of whatever was in the carpet / seats, etc. I don't want to accidentally transfer that odor to the next vehicle that I clean. One vehicle left such a bad odor on my drill brushes that I had to throw them in a bucket of hot water with liquid laundry detergent and a bit of bleach to finally kill the smell.

    • @attention2detailswchelsea
      @attention2detailswchelsea  Год назад +2

      I normally just rinse and spin them

      @@attention2detailswchelsea Thanks. Maybe I've just had some really nasty vehicles. lol. My drill brushes ended up smelling like a combination of wet dog and mud from the floor mats. :D

    60 degrees!? You're killing me! I'm jealous.
    There does come a time when I say nope, Nope, and NOPE. Sorry folks, there is a point of no return. I just can't clean that interior. It's just too gross. Sorry.
    Now, having said that, you are a trooper gal! What a great turn around. Very nice.
    Chelsea, did you put some kinda protection on the cloth seats? I was just wondering.
    Again, great job!

    • @attention2detailswchelsea
      @attention2detailswchelsea  Год назад +2

      It was 60 for like 1 day and then back down to 40 the day after and froze that night so VERY short lived. I knew this was going to be a lot of work but I actually really enjoy doing interiors like this. They don’t scare me whatsoever. As far as protection no I did not because the customer had a very limited budget and I was trying to stick to it. I could have, but it would’ve cost him extra. I don’t include that with a typical Detail.
