- This customer called and explained that water had suddenly started appearing from the wall hung units in the kitchen and a light. At the same time, the heating pressure had dropped down to no pressure.
The way the system is set up, it made things very difficult to access and test, but I got there in the end. The leak was located, but unfortunately, due to the fittings needed, the repair couldn't be carried out on the day and are going to be ordered in.

They should probably lift all the tiles and leave a dehumidifier running in that room for a few weeks to try and dry out the floor completely. Not good to leave all that moisture under the floor.
Think it would be wise to have the whole tie floor up and let it all dry out! looks like its done a fair bit of damage if even the kitchen cupboards are starting to blow out with the moisture.
Nice detective work without the duck. Shame you couldn't fix it , what size O.D is it ? That whole floor needs to go , that chipboard will be like Weetabix 🙄
I bet there is a lot of water damage, that’s gonna get really smelly unless it’s all ripped out.
Well done, good shot with that screw.
🤣🙈🕵♂️
Fantastic sherlock holmes investigation there. Turned out it was Mr screw.
Mate - get yourself some Mukguard overshoes so you can keep the safety boots on while working in customer's homes! They last for ages and are washable.
What a bag of Nightmares 🤯🤯🤯
Somthing like that 🤣👌🏻🕵♂️
i wonder what that screw was holding down?
hope it wasn't a load bearing screw, the whole house might fall down
Brilliant 🤩 u are the man
Wow 😲 well done 👏👏👌
You didn't SCREW us on this video.🤦🤣 Another banger mate
Nice work
What goes thru people' minds when they decide put plywood AND schluter membrane ON TOP of underfloor heating.
we all know that chipboard floor will resemble weetabix when it dry's out best to take it all up and start from new otherwise the customer will be chasing themselves for years trying to remedy the issue
Not gonna lie, trying to get to that manifold looks like a fast way to a hospital bed.
love your vids man... keep em coming
Excellent video, so interesting, thank you.
I'll never understand underfloor heating. Extremely expensive to have installed, maintenance nightmare usually and prone to destroying your home.
We evolved for thousands of years taking baths in icy cold water, having to suffer and chase our food to exhaustion. Now we do anything for a bit of measly comfort 😂
My brother had a drain pipe with a drywall screw in it. It took about 10 years to leak.
