Bloody brilliant! Nearly 7 minutes! It's like a feature film! Twice the quality. Cant believe you dont carry a pot of goldfish food to attract fish in a water trough! Cheers buddy love the work.
Man this takes me back to when I used to keep horses in Bedfordshire! I went to switch the water on at a tap out in the field one day and the bloody thing came off in my hand and flew up in the air! Followed by a huge amount of water I was paying for. Fortunately we knew where the stops were... two feet creepy crawly filled brick lined holes in the ground with paving slabs on top. It was a muddy November day but I knew I'd be able to reach the shutoff at full reach. So jacket off, jumper off, sweatshirt off, flat on the muddy ground, bare arm down the hole to turn off the new fountain. Only my bare arm would fit. Of course the girls thought this was hilarious. I replaced the tap, but the owner found out and had the whole system replaced soon after. Renting from a rich former farmer was a nice situation. He just wanted some horses in the fields he had near his house and charged us a nominal rent so long as we kept the place tidy and provided the horses.
I reckon you secretly enjoyed that job. Plenty of little jobs to investigate and solve. As for "boggy ground and a hiss kinda gives the game away" classic😂 keep up the dad jokes, love it. Well done👏
Great video! But I'm surprised they needed your services! All those leaks should have been pretty obvious to the owner! Even the field one! Hmmm we have a water leak and also random mud bog in a paddock around where the water line runs... Could they be related at all!?
moral of the story. Keep track of where you lay a water pipe, so that you don't ram a wooden fence post through it... 🤣
What are the chances though lol. That was so unlucky! You couldn't have done it if you tried
thats what those little flags are for in the US, they mark water/gas/electric lines. why dont they do that in these places
Or lay it deeper so a 20cm deep post doesn't damage it.
Same thing happened to use last year when putting a fence in but it was an electrical cable

Detective water leak skills are above and beyond.

That was an interesting one, surprised how much of the pipe wasn't buried or insulated.
And if buried, not deep enough as you discovered
You and that duck are Champion (the wonder horse) well done 👍🏻
Love the sound of your van 😂 You running a V8 😂😂
Great vid as normal but it was to easy 😉😉
Good job mate!

Nice job, most plumbers when they see that would say neigh
Goldfish eat the worms in the trough so you don’t need to deworm the horses.
I see the duck found the easy leak 😅
I didn't know you could use compression fittings directly on plastic, even with an insert. Is that normal?
Yes all good to use compression on plastic. Insert is essential
@@gordonm2821 Cool - I always thought the plastic would be too malleable to allow the olive crush correctly to seal. Good to know 👍

A days work in less than 7 minutes.
Obviously never watched peaky blinders
