- Today's customer is a Mercedes-Benz Garage.
a drainage company has been dealing with a blocked drain, and the drain is now overfilling, and water is seen coming up inside one of the toilets in the building.
We carried out a leak detection on the site, and after most of the day hunting around checking everything, we managed to find the problem to be associated with a rain water saving unit.
Once we isolated the issue, the water meter was static, confirming no further leaks on site!!

An enjoyable, to the point channel that doesn’t ask for a ‘like & subscribe’ every video.
So I done the right thing.
Cheers bro! Yeah, that bugs me when I watch videos!
👌🏻🕵♂️
Knowing where the pipes run helps a lot.
100%. Love it when the property has drawings. Very rare tbh 🤣🕵♂️
I'm sure there should be an air gap in that tank so rainwater can never mix with mains water. If the tank has been overflowing I wonder if the air gap has been compromised?
I'm not sure how it works to be honest. Obviously should be saving water rather than using it all up 🤣🕵♂️
I would have thought it would have a float valve to fill the tank if required. So this must have failed? ?

Did you say “Nazi knock knock joke”? Hahahahahaha! YT won’t like that! Love your channel and humor!
I know. I may have crossed a line 🙈🕵♂️
I can't remember which comedian it was (It may have been Henning Wehn) but they said "People claim that Germans have no sense of humour. This is not correct. We know HOW to laugh, we just don't know WHEN"
Underrated channel
But why would the drain have been overflowing, was it a soakaway that had become saturated, or just blocked?
Yes I missed out that the company that got us out reckon the drains blocked. But needed us to solve the running water issue before carrying on with thier works
Good job m8. tough find
Can't beat a good knock knock joke...
Troubleshooting at its finest
2:23 lmao... do you watch tim conway his german impression is hilarious lol
Good detective work. System seems a bit daft if it just has a single solenoid valve that isn't fail safe/closed ?
Nice work. I hope you didn't mention the war? I did once but i think i got away with it.
How this was recommend for me
I haven’t a clue 😂
However I am mesmerised😂😂
Great channel by the way 👍🏽
🤣👌🏻 cheers mate
Smart! Not always obvious like you say 🕵️♂️
Most the day was walking backwards and forwards, up and down 🤣👌🏻🕵♂️
@@OriginalLeakDetective I've worked at a car dealers too with their computers and it's much the same, tracing stuff back and forward then realising you need to be back at the other side! 😂
No Sherlock "Duct". 😂
Nice work!
Cheers bro! 👌🏻🕵♂️
Their water bill will be huge if it's losing that much . Did no one notice 😯
Utility meters are typically not read very often. So I don't find it surprising that someone noticed an overflowing drain and water ingress into the building before they noticed a high water meter reading
