This job was carried out at sandford lido. a contractor working on site got in contact after finding out the kids pool was losing loads of water and dropping a few inches over night.
the leak only happens when the pumps are running.

When I've been involved in a proper major leak it feels terribly weird to get the phone out to record. I think mind is in safeguard life and property by isolating immediately without killing myself. Yet in the back on my head I'm like, this would make a good vid😂

WOW! shuts a DOL pump down without closing the valve first, that's one way to cause water hammer and break the pipework?
Laterals are at the bottom of the filter under the sand?
