Idk the impression I always got from Jade was that she DID lack self-awareness. I'm sure the editing was part of it, but editing can only change so much of what you actually say.
That's why I hate when people blame everything on a bad edit or a villain edit. Yes that is a thing but sometimes it's obvious what really was going on. If it feels like the show is just alluding to someone not being a pleasant person then yeah that could be the edit. But when people constantly say mean and abrasive things over and over again it's like editing had nothing to do with that you said what you said.
Jade seems to have alot of narcissistic tendencies and those personality types ALWAYS lack self awareness. It’s a disordered way of thinking, that’s the point, otherwise it wouldn’t be a personality disorder. In order to keep their giant ego filled they need to deflate everyone else’s

Honestly, I don’t think that’s even an opinion, it’s just straight facts. I know that editors can do a lot with manipulating footage in the editing bay, but Jade really did seem straight up mean and narcissistic, and I don’t that that was done in editing.
She is a bully. Never liked her.

Jade gave us some iconic moments this season but she sure could be mean. In more recent videos I’ve seen of her she seems nicer. I’m not sure if she was just cast as the villain like it was scripted or if her confidence could just bubble over and turn into arrogance. I mean she was part of making this season entertaining. I don’t know how to feel. Lol.

I think Furonda won a PSA for HIV/AIDS awareness commercial. They had a female guest show up, who had HIV and was an activist for raising awareness of the issue.

To be fair, this was a different point of time. No one took offense to certain words, there were no public boundaries. And for the girls getting a reaction to knowing what PSA means, it was a different time. We didnt make PSA posts, it was always said in full whenever it was mentioned and usually only on the news or if a program interference announcement. I mean im 34, im thinking about it while watching and im like, we never really said PSA then as often. This is just an old episode which hurts my heart but yeah, things are very different now.
The reason they made fun of her for the PSA thing is because she decided to tell everyone what it stood for when everyone already knows.

Please do Season 5 episode 8, they make the girls spend an hours doing hair makeup and a collage on their life but throw them off by making it about starring on a show ...the photoshoot is also degrading and episode 9 is super degrading for the girls!
Never liked Jade. I always thought she was mean when i watched this as a teenager. Today, looking back, I see that Jade lacks class, and compassion. Im apalled by her behaviour. Gross. I think she won the cycle? Such a shame that she was rewarded for acting like this... she should NOT have been a role model for little girls in the US. Terrible.
She was probably just insecure. Danielle won the cycle and Joanie was the runner-up. I think Jade finished 3rd.

I may sound like devils advocate cause I was such a fan of wildnout but their humor at that time were very much offensive, sarcastic, and like dumb jokes. Like the PSA part was very more of the awkward humor trying to get a laugh.
