I was kind of confused by the use of "EXPOSED" because I was looking for a negative video about ARM products because it seems too good to be true but after watching this I am really into ARM products. I am actually about to buy the 3" downpipes right now
Heres the negative you wanted to find lol the intercooler is not a direct fit easy to install unit as advertised. I put in 3 hours today so far and the inlets refuse to slide in all the way. No fun at all. Ill be returning it for a VRSF unit.
ok quick question...…. what was the donor car year and model? and also which FMIC was this the 5" or 7" and was the stock charge pipe also reused? any info is appreciated and great informative sir thank you
Lopez Bunch you can literally see all that information in the video It’s the 5inch stepped clearly. He also never touched the charge pipe in the install
I'm thinking about pulling the trigger for this soon; can you give me some insight about updated fins? The version in this video I know has to be the "older" version, as the video is posted in Apr 2016. Currently as of April 2017 there is a pre-order for the same FMIC, I'm guessing for an updated batch with, as you just stated, updated fins? I was researching this on e90post and the "older" FMIC was reviewed with some pics with a lower fin density, and the density in the pics on their website currently does look more dense. Would you be able to provide any pics of your "updated" FMIC? Would you be able to provide any logs? Thanks! Would really help!
I don't think I got the updated fins but I could be wrong. I gotta compare the new pic to it. I haven't installed it yet. Great for the price though. I'm sure it will operate better than oem. Gonna upgrade oil cooler next then see if I still have the need for a better intercooler. Not looking forward to driving it for first time in 100 degree weather
Gotcha, well as soon as you can find out between the fin density from prior to yours let me know! I'm gonna order one soon since it should improve above stock anyway. And I suppose I could resell it anyway later to get a 7" VRSF/Wagner.
confused me for a second at the end, wondering what hes talking about mentioning cool IATs and whatnot while that log is posted, but I figured it out that its the log from the 2nd pull pre-FMIC swap, just doesnt mention that its up there to compare while hes talking about the post-FMIC swap pull.

Damn, should have bought that FMIC when I got my Downpipes from you guys lol, coulda saved a few bucks..! Nice to see a positive review..!
Nice review. I hope you get to do a review on an ATM in the future.
Amazing ! Can you please suggest what JB4 stage you start your car after the installation ?
Does this work with the e90 n55 cars
Any update with this FMIC and FBO cars pushing oem turbos with more boost?
how is the stage 1 compared to stock?
Mine comes tomorrow. Curious to see the updated fins.

How much did that intercooler cost?
So why is the target boost pressure after the install lower than before?
because the dme targets load not boost like a jb4. You don't need as much boost to meet target load when air is cooled better.
Are the fins updated right now?
Any truth to the fin density changing for the better?
thanks bro
nice i just buy one yesterday 😀😀
Heindrick Millien I’m considering buying one . How is it so far ?
So did you get gains?
