- Today we took out the new to me Traxxas Maxx Slash and did an unboxing and I'm very happy on this truck looks!! We took it out and it performed very well!! Nothing like driving a new truck out of the box for the first time!! Nothing broke surprisingly!! Drop a comment and let me know what you thought of the video!! I'll be completely honest I'm a Traxxas guy at heart. However the Mojave is quite an insane machine from what Ive seen no question! 👍🏼
It really is both of them are very powerful!!
I have both. They are both amazing. BUT, I got tired of replacing bent chassis and blown diffs on my Mojave.

I like this truck a little better than the Mojave but they are close. The ride on this one seems to be a bit smoother but would be hard to say. Appreciate all the reviews, testing and help along the way.

Got mine yesterday and absolutely love it, had it out about an hour though and clipped the curb broke a caster block so a little salty seeing people bash hard out the box. 😂
I have m6s and maxx slash. Gotta give it to my Mojave. Thing is tough as nails. It’s a little more squirrelly than maxx slash imo. But that’s what makes it more fun to me. I run 20t pinion. And 1m weight center diff fluid. Really wakes it up
@@JacobHart-i2m yeah man I bet, I still do love the Mojave, it’s truly is a monster of a truck, but I feel like the maxx slash is just a bit smoother of a drive
@ I don’t disagree actually. But that’s what makes the Mojave more fun in my opinion. They are both very predictable but the slash more so.
A set of VG Racing springs and the traxxas sway bars make this truck handle amazing

Keep crying they may listen. Just get a better job, problem solved. Its an amazingly fun rig though. I put the widemaxx kit and maxx v2 cvd set on mine, handles like a boss.

Build a ramp!! Takes about $40 paint included and maybe an hour or two. Thats what I did and love it!! Plenty of how to vids...

id rather have the mojave6S its suspension is more realistic in handling like a trophy truck.

It’s faster than a sledge it’s 2 pounds lighter. It’s a same speed is the TRAXXAS sledge but faster.

@ yes it’s a monster same motor and the esc on the sledge. On stock gears is 25/50 it goes 60mph the sledge with stock gears. 55mph. Maxx slash is faster than a sledge.

Short course trucks are definitely not for random bashing and that Max slash is so overpriced it's unreal. That is track specific or flat surface or maybe a BMX track but definitely not for random yard bashing. Slacksas Trash in my opinion. Just stick with the Mojave
