Yeah, had that happen twice on my Erevo, you have to send it back with the motor to get it sorted, too much down time, you get it back it lasts three runs then it goes again. Time to fit another esc, sorted.😊😊😊

I really enjoy your videos Kev!! Of course we’re all not gonna agree with everything. I disagree with the video headline that this is the best RC of the year. Maybe most durable. But for $700 you get a plastic geared servo, short shocks that aren’t the right size and overpriced wheels that have no grip. It doesn’t drive very well as far as an SCT should. Still thanks for the entertainment factor! You really do know how to test these trucks for their breaking point! Even if it breaks in 5 minutes!
@@rustler08 a brick is pretty durable too but it’s not gonna drive very good now is it?! It’s not a basher! It’s a drivers kind of truck that doesn’t handle the way it should compared to cheaper trucks with quality parts.

Your charger is switched to “high output” which is only one side. Hit the black switch in the middle and you’ll be good to go brother! Btw I freaking love your videos brother, I appreciate your skills and business advice is on point! Keep doing what you’re doing bud!!

2:45 Tried flipping the quick charge switch back to the left (normal) position? When you have it switched to the right only the right port is enabled as it's sending max current to one port and disabled the other. Switch to the left and both are enabled.
Durable? Esc didn't last 5 minutes!! Feel like if this was any other brand you would be slagging them off like you did with FTX for reversed gyro. If you wont say I will.....thats not good enough Traxxas!
Any brand can have a defective ESC. Just saying. Yes Traxxas should make better electronics. My esc in the maxx slash has been fine but I am putting in a Max8 ESC (if it ever arrives!) anyways.
You obviously didn’t watch the entire video. The ESC was defective. It happens. That’s why there’s warranties. If you weren’t a hater, you would’ve seen that Talbot beat the living shit out the Slash and it didn’t break. Get a clue kid.

The value is what the majority of the RC Hobby enthusiast say and they say it sucks. The first one showed it’s true colors and let’s face it. They’re not selling that good in the hobby stores. I got several stores around me and I know the salesman.

Kevin I just learned something new with the Losi Promoto MX. If you tilt the receiver forward a little bit on the mount just twist it so the left top corner is facing forward. basically leaning at a forward angle the throttle will not cut when hitting the big jumps at the skate park. You lean it forward enough just to trick it into thinking it's still not past its wheelie tipping point. It works like a charm. We learned this while we were racing them and jumping them at the amain hobby race track. You put it on offroad mode it works best.

Stick a piece of foam from the parts in-between the shock tower and it will stop it from over compressing. It works wonders for my slash. I never broke a bumper again.

Oh yeah bro . Sweet . I spray them down and use a powerful blower , but not too powerful . I was using the air compressor which is more surgical blowing , lol . I was doing yard work one day and had a craftsman blower with the big battery and used it after spraying some silicone oil and it dries so nice and …dry . Seems like it keeps it fresh looking . The wheel to center area and the fin on the Kraton 1/8 even looks new with scratches . Everyone knows this already probably .

Hey Kevin. Watch the traxxas video, and within the first 20 seconds, you will see what's missing in the front suspension. (Lower shock mounts and springs for xmaxx)
So, if we bought one and the ESC was faulty from the start will traxxas provide a replacement or are we assed out? Let's face it, the typical person is buying only one, and if this RC has a high rate of faulty electronics, is it worth buying?
They will replace it. They might want you to send the motor too and they send back both new. It might have been the motor shorted out and fried the esc
It looks like you have that charger set to high output. If you flip the switch in the middle it will power both. Please respond if works or not! Good luck!
Hi I need some help my motor is running in the wrong direction my steering I've managed to sort out but my motor I'm struggling with I've looked at other videos says to switch wires but Im not sure if it would rewin my quickrun esc

Love your honest reviews Kevin..not a big fan of Traxxas, this happened to me out of the box with a Rustler years ago; it took sending it back twice/4 months total before it would work at all.
My launch day UDR got the red light of death after a couple years and it turns out sometimes it isn't REALLY dead but when it throws an error code and Traxxas programs them to shut down and only they can disable the error codes
Hey Kev, i wanted to upgrade my Senton to run at least 50mph. Do you think it can do it on 3s motor without overheating? I had an 80 amp esc and 3200kv motor from hobbywing. But it would only go about 41mph. And my motor went out. So im looking to replace it with a better ESC/MOTOR combo.

I've had cheap esc's that will outlast them hands down for reliability. They should be better since they are branded by Traxxas. Poor show Traxxas.

The body on my Rustler 4x4 and Stampede 4x4 (both the latest ones) rarely come off. Actually the Rustler body has never come off.

Pro tip: Put a piece of dense foam in your Arrma Mojave body mounts and zip tie it on and you should save yourself a bunch of headache 👍🏼
Yep my brother took the foam bumper off of one of his TT02 shelf queens and cut it up and zip ties it under the body mounts and never broke since.

the maxx slash is my DREAM rc car, because of it being part slash, (which i own.) and part maxx. making it strong
I think it's under shocked and nose heavy. I am debating on one of these or a udr.
Losi LST2 still had the best shocks ever. Same size as 5th scales.

Hey Kev, i wanted to upgrade my Senton to run at least 50mph. Do you think it can do it on 3s motor without overheating? I had an 80 amp esc and 3200kv motor from hobbywing. But it would only go about 41mph. And my motor went out. So im looking to replace it with a better ESC/MOTOR combo.
Kev do you think the ARRMA senton 3s brushless could drive on top of water?
