They are fun trucks, I have the yellow version. While not meant for big air they are a hoot just ripping around and smaller jumps. With big jumps I find the wind gets under the body and it just sails with no control of it. The cool part is for some reason after a roll over the usually end up back on their wheels. After putting the speed pinion on mine I couldn't hit top speed as the front would start to lift. I added a bit of lead to the front bumper and taped a temporary windshield on it. That stopped the front from lifting and I hit a top speed of 70 mph. I have a blast with mine doing power slides in the dirt.

You broke more parts in one day then I have all summer long with my TLR Typhon lol I mostly race at the track but its got some big ass jumps and I have crashed it a bunch of times. I don't take mine to the skatepark because it would end up like yours did 😆 Looks fun though

Personally on my Traxxas vehicles I ended up switching out the transmitter for a better one. However when I did use the factory transmitter I ended up switching out the wheel for a thumb steer wheel. I highly recommend RUclipsr MSM's thumb steer wheels for traxxas remotes. Although I personally am not a RUclipsr it is nice to every once in awhile just kind of relax your arms and play around with one hand. I'm a new subscriber after this video and I watched a couple of your videos now. Keep it up!

I have 3 traxxas locos friends own this rc car and it's freaking awesome!!! But...43mph are not 70mph! other than that great video 😉

Better with no decals and body needs lowering

I liked the Mojave so much I now own 4. 2 stock for friends and two modified for me. I did upgrade the Rx's to an AVC equiped for all of them. Reinforced the bodies on them. Running one on 8s. Addi g a 3 axis gimble fpv set up on my fourth.

If you do a lot of running on asphalt the tires will last approx 4 packs . If you roll it a lot as I have you may want to have a backup clipless body mount it's cheap tho . Doing 100mph with the rally is a good challenge because the body parachutes so bad . Glad you checked out Avery's gear . The vocabulary word of the week is beefcake

Traxxas is always off on there mph. The vxl fiesta is a way better then i thought it would be and is one of my favorites in my collection.

Dude.. only problem with this car is the electronics overheat.. i tool my 150a spectrum esc outta a arrma.. bought a forward esc mount plate 2050kv motor and ran it on 4s.. no problems after that

Great video! I agree that it's beautiful and fun. As far as crawling goes, it's not the one I'd get first. Trailing and rough terrain, YES!! Straight up real crawling on big ass rocks? NOPE!! My stock Redcat Ascent Fusion for $100 less runs circles around my CJ-7. CIRCLES. Plus, the Axial shocks are leaking (ZERO help or support from Axial on this), and the CJ is WAY too top heavy for serious crawling. It is a gorgeous blast of a truck though, and it's one of my favs

it's a great truck and in three seconds you did more abuse to it than I'll ever do thanks for the video I also bought this on sale got some hot racing hub extenders a dust cover and a fan to go on the heat sink and I'm gonna get the PL snow tires and call it good, raised up the preload and it still won't roll, killer rig
