Thanks for the video, looking forward to your shooting impressions. I bought the mako about eight months ago as an alternative carry to my Walther PDP. I have roughly 1000 rounds through it and hasn’t failed me once. Great gun!
The PDP is a good choice. I did a video on that one as well. I like this Mako, the Range Review should drop in a day or so. Thanks for supporting the channel
Has anyone noticed how much the Mako is like the Walther PPS M2 with its profile - look at HandgunHero? The Mako is higher quality - stippling, sights, trigger, and double stacked.
I never noticed that. Good pick up. Thanks for supporting the channel.
I just ordered mine. I got the bundle too. It’s a hell of a deal. Can’t wait to shoot it!
You are going to love it. Thanks for supporting the channel!
Great video, and thank you for raising smart kids😁👏👏🇺🇸👍
Thank you!
Other than not having a range session, your review and unboxing was top notch. I was going to spend a lot mor money for a Shadow System gun but have follow the R7 and I think I will save the $200 just for the gun and another $90 on the magazines. 13 rounds is plenty of rounds
Thank you, I did the Range Review in a separate video

Too much good info for one video. You are correct an amazing deal on this Mako. Sounds like you made the right purchase. Thanks for supporting the channel!
Love My R7 Mako! And by the way, the standard size mag holds 11 rounds. Right when I get done with this video, I’m going to the range review!
You are correct for some reason I always want to say 10. Great gun love how it shoots. I am doing a video where I put a Holosun 507k on it to do some more range time on this gun. Thanks for supporting the channel! Hope you like the Range Review
@@theBucketshallnotbeinfringed they have 10 round flush mags and 11 round with a slight extension, that's why it's confusing. You can find both on their website.
I want one to support my peeps back in Bama... plus it's a cool gun
I have been very impressed for sure.
Wow this is my kinda weapon looks good to
This was such and amazing deal, and such a pleasant gun to shoot. Surprised it did not take off more! Thanks for supporting the channel!
Looks great if it is reliable I am interested. I was considering the Mako for my wife when it was released and my daughter was looking at it. But reviews were not encouraging at first. The guns wete just not reliable. So my daughter bought the Ruger Max 9 and my wife is staying with the Shield 45 for now.
I had great luck with mine. Was kind of surprised this one never took off.
Thanks for supporting the channel!
Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! Smoking a Turkey right now for the family. Pray that it turns out well for my family
I was thinking about getting one of these. How does it shoot?
Shoots great. I really enjoyed this gun!
Own 2 both bundle packs so 10 mags and 2 awesome 9s
I like the way you think! Safe and Plentiful Shooting to you and yours from the Bucket!
@pete4633 did living in a restricted state as myself have anything to do with the 10 rd mags?
No I have 10 mags. They come with 5 I now have the 15 round mags. Total of 15 mags. I live in a free state
👍
Got one for $499 + my $35 ffl charge $535 sweet Only wish the Kimber warranty was a little longer than 1 year.
I never knew that about the warranty. Still a great gun
@@theBucketshallnotbeinfringedA web search will show Kimber has a "lifetime warranty" to the original purchaser providing it's registered with Kimber within 90 days. I've learned to believe less from video comments than my own findings.
Hello
What model number holster is that? I looked at the Mission First Tactical website but they don’t seem to have a model specific part.
What are your thoughts on the holster, if you’ve been using it the last few months. Thanks
I know longer have the gun or holster, so I can't help with the model number. As far as how it performed when I did carry it, I was very happy and impressed
@@theBucketshallnotbeinfringed Ok, thanks.
@@theBucketshallnotbeinfringedWhy'd you sell it? I'm curious having just ordered this firearm.
@kevmac1230 it was a great gun, I traded it to get new content for the channel.
@@theBucketshallnotbeinfringed That's what I figured. Nice work.
How much did you pay for this? Maybe you said so already, but regardless, the video transcript contains nothing about price that I saw.
Edit: Decent vid, btw.
I try not to give specific prices, because it dates the videos. But I bought on line, all in after ffl fees was 570.00. I am glad you enjoyed the video. Tha ks for supporting the channel
Ambidextrous not trious 😁
Very True. Thanks for supporting the channel.
For an ambi gun, this looked promising "at first".
Not a SINGLE manufacturer has made a micro 9, optics ready, that is FULLY ambi, not one.
Enter the Kimber mako r7.
Unfortunately, with its new ejection port cut, for a lefty who shoots thumbs forward, the spent shells hit your thumb and go back into the weapon causing an instant jam.
Essentially, it makes a 6-800 dollar gun a semi auto single shot that jams.
Fail on Kimber. Good idea, nice gun for a righty, but it appears no one at Kimber even tested this shooting left handed.
As I right handed shoot never would have picked up on that. Sorry you had to find out the hardway.
Looks like a nice hi point with that port 🤮
I am with you that it is not the best looking firearm. Thanks for supporting the channel.
@@theBucketshallnotbeinfringedAgain totally subjective, as are opinions on any firearms (or any object really) esthetics.
Well when you pointed the pistol towards your face I was done with the video.
Sorry to lose your view. Have a great day
