Thank you. I had never dealt with removing this type of bulb before, so I wanted to be cautious about taking the old one out. Your video was exactly what I need.
This works for the driver's side bulb. For the passenger side bulb you must first unscrew the washer fluid container (3 bolts) and just push it backwards far enough to access the blinker bulb. Then install new blinker bulb, and then tighten back down washer fluid container. 10mm socket needed. Very simple to do, only took an extra 5 minutes, mostly to find the right socket.😊
I also have a 2013 4Runner with the same problem, except mine is cracked and not with a big hole. It was cracked enough for water to get in and short out the bulb. Replacement lens are surprisingly cheap. I wonder if it would be easier if you remove the tire? Thanks for your video. It will save me a lot of money taking it somewhere to have it done.
Italian Troutaholic If not the same, I would assume very close! Almost all vehicle light bulbs are fairly easy to replace and very similar to this video. 1) Identify & locate the bad light 2) Find the space directly behind the bad light Granted, I’ve heard of some vehicles where you have to remove the entire light assembly to change the light.
Watching this video in the parking lot of a Napa right now....thanks!
I’m in an O’Rilley’s parking lot. 😆
