Well done. To the point both in video and audio. A rare quality lacking in so many of these DIY videos that seem to ramble on, rather than be informative. I look forward to your inspection of the internal door components video.
I found if you tilt the top of the strip away from the cab that the clip pops right out. Then just follow the video. Did all four on my '07 double cab in less than ten minutes. GREAT VIDEO!
These fit perfectly!! The only complaint I have is on me for not realizing how simple this was. First one took 4-5 minutes, other 3 doors took 2 minutes max. So simple and easy!!!!
This is an amazing video! i have been running around for a year with my strips broken off. I didnt even know they were that easy to replace! thank you for saving me long term expense!
Thanks for the video! I almost took it to the dealership to have them fix it and they wanted almost $600. I paid $160 from OEM and had them replaced in 20 mins.
I have an 2007 Tundra and my weatherstrips have been screwed up for a few years. I ran across your video, ordered the strips and replaced them this morning in less than 5 minutes. Thank you for your very informative video!!!
This video saved me lots of time and money. I bought the driver's side weatherstrip from an online OEM parts store for $20 and in about 2 minutes had it installed. It's that easy.
Thank you for your videos. You talk slow enough and your voice is so easy on the ears. My husband is Mexican and although he has been here in the states for 23 years his English is no where he says it is. He likes to do as much work on his trucks as he can. He followed your illustrations and even understood your words so perfectly. He was happy when I found your videos because everyone else, either hid what they were working on, or would talk so loud , didn't know hw to really explain, or a couple of them I changed just because they gave off such an egotistical vibe I felt they needed a few less views, so I took care of that for them. Thank you again for being so clear and your camera angles are on spot. Keep on doing it. I'm sure he'll need videos for other things.
Thank you for posting this video.. I purchased from OEM and saved so much money... total fix was $135. Compared to $650 the dealership tried to charge.. I was able to fix myself.... so I know others can too. very easy... just watch the video...5 🌟
This is the best video I've seen on this so far. I just bought the parts and was struggling to get the old ones off. I'm going to try again following your directions. Thanks!
Thank you for this! Just replaced all mine just now. One thing I’d suggest is cleaning the grime off before installing the new ones. I just took a microfiber towel and window cleaner.
Excellent video and instructions. I have a 2007 SR5 Double-cab. Just finished the driver's side door. Moving on now to the others. My originals were near trash stage. When I'd go to clean the windows in the summer months, the deteriorated rubber that was left would smear like tar. Thanks for the help. 🙏🇺🇸
I just finished replacing the window trim on all 5 windows of my 4Runner. Thanks to your video I found the place to order the parts (OEM) and figured it all out by myself...without the help of a man! Well, with the exception of your video, that is. So thanks a bunch!
Andrew thank you for the instructional video. I appreciate you. FYI, I went to the dealer this afternoon to ask how much would it cost to have one of the rear passenger belt molding/window weatherstrip replaced. The TOYO dealer informed me that it would be 20 dollars for the part and about a 1hr of labor (approx. $120 USD) to do one door, because it would entail removing the inside door panel to get to the supporting clips of the molding. I am glad I waited, and did not pulled the trigger on having them replace the one dry-rotted weatherstrip. Thank you buddy.
Thanks so much for posting this video. Was washing my 2010 Tundra last night and notice the weather stripping was worn just like yours. Love my Tundra and want to keep it in good shape as long as I can!
my 07 Tundra double cab back window moldings exhibited exact same conditions, i used your advice and order from OEM and installed in about 20 minutes (Originals were tight!). thanks for the the instruction, saved some $$ for sure.
Ooo great to read this comment-I have a 2010 4Runner with cracking window molding and was watching this awesome video wondering if the 4Runner would be the same. THANK YOU for the video! Straight to the point, easy to follow and added bonus of saving me a ton of $$ on the parts!
Big thanks! My 08 passenger side strips sun rotted and the end that goes under had me thinking "body shop". Saved me a lot of cash and grief. OEM parts on order from eBay. NOTE same part # for 07 thru 17 Tundra DBL cabs.
Awesome first vid that came up and really useful. I need to do this when I get home. Humid weather keeps making my windows get stuck the foam on the inside is gone
So glad I watched this very clear and helpful video. I need to replace the ones on my 2007 Tundra standard cab and thought they fastened from the inside requiring removal of the interior door panel. The passenger side has torn but I may as well replace both. Thanks for posting this.
Exactly the info I was hoping to find! I bumped the window switch when I intended to hit the door lock while my 2011 Tundra had ice on the windows. Ooops - I know better! And that was all she wrote for that aged molding. Thanks for the perfect vid to learn the fix. (Subscribed!)
Thanks for sharing. That was super easy. I did mess up on one thing. While replacing the rear door piece the old/worn inside half fell down into my door panel. It's easy to do if you weather strips were as bad as mine were.
2009 Tundra.. ordered from OEM.. very easy to install. the first 3 I had the dealership install, they charged me $100 ea... not realizing how easy it is to replace I did the 4th window myself.. Andrew you saved me $100.. thank you.
Just replaced my trucks belt weatherstripping following your video! From ordering parts to doing the installation it went as smooth as could be. Thank you!
Great video man. When you pull the old ones out use needle nose pliers to grab the inside rubber part that runs the length of the window or it will fall down inside the hollow body of the door and rattle around when you open and close. Don't ask me how I know this.
Thanks for posting this. Got the same problem on the drivers side. Wondered what those were called - couldn't find them on Rock Auto and I didnt know about OEM Parts Source. Ordered today.
I just got a set of 4 on ebay for about $35 for my 2009 Highlander. Going to tackle it now. I would be very weary about removing the door panel unless it were totally necessary. Once removed, those fasteners never seem to hold as good as before.
To the point, plain and simple. No shaky camera = no headaches. Much appreciated.
Dealership quoted us $371 in labor to install these. Thanks so much for the help.
Always nice when you look something up and find a tutorial with the exact same year model and trim as what you will be working on 👌 thank you

Same. Thanks for the video, very clear and simple.

Holy chit about the dealer price.
Took me about 10 min and cost $82 for OEM on eBay. 4 doors, 2 are half doors. 2008

How much for four?
2008 Tundra here.
Cab plus 4 door

Yes, looking forward to door panel removals. Need to do this too!
Nice video, was pretty sure this was gonna go smoothly on my 2012 but the video was nice to watch beforehand. Direct and informative well done.
Thanks. Watched this two times in 5 years.
Toyota wants $360 labor to do this job on two windows! Outrageous! Thanks for sharing this!!!
Why is this so much easier then I thought
You hit the nail on the head.
I dont have a Tundra but the video applies to my Toyota vehicle as well. To the point and informative. Well done!
Followed your instructions for my 2007 Tundra. Less than 10 minutes for all four windows. Great DIY video. Thanks
Great video. Followed your instruction and replaced the molding on my 2010 4 Runner, all four doors, in about 15 minutes. Thanks

Thank you for posting this video! Was about to pay a dealer a lot of $$ to replace one.
Great video and exactly what I needed to be said and nothing more.
This video did the trick for my 2011 crew cab - thank you sir for creating this content!
Thank you for the tutorial video on how to replace the window weatherstrips.
Thank you for the video and recommending the website. Just ordered parts for my 2010 4Runner!
Just did my driver sides and doing the passenger sides tomorrow. Thanks a ton for the vid!!!
Awesome video brother! Just got me a minty 2012 plat tundra and this is the one thing I needed to replace. Thanks
😊 another satisfied viewer, I had too replace yesterday. Thank you for your video demonstration 😊
Thx. Just got my pops' 2011 Tundra. The seals are all deteriorated....I was shocked. My 2001 Chevy truck never went bad.
If I’ve known it was this easy I would’ve done this months ago
I appreciate this tutorial its exactly what i was looking for ✌🏿
Thank you! I had my Toyota Tundra since 2007 - I need replace mine now. Again, thank you! Feels amazing to buy the parts I need and to fix-it myself.
So glad I watched this very clear and helpful video. I need to replace the ones on my 2007 Tundra standard cab and thought they fastened from the inside requiring removal of the interior door panel. The passenger side has torn but I may as well replace both. Thanks for posting this.
Just replaced mine following this video! Thank you for this! It’s so easy.
Replaced mine today. Thanks for the video. Very Helpful.
Very good straight forward video. Thank you very much. I have to replace mine and now I know I can do this myself. Thanks again.
Great Video!! Just replaced mine. Exactly how you described!! Thanks much!!
Glad the video helped, Jimmy!
Thank you for the video. Replaced the rotted ones on my 07 today!
Thank you for the video it was a super easy job and to think I was scared and was going to have the stealership do it.
Great video brother and great instructions. 👍🏻
Thank you sir! Just did mine and it was a breeze with your assistance.
Thanks for the video. It was perfect. Very easy job.
Thanks well done. Same for my 2011 Sequoia.
Great video brother. 15 min job after watching.
Awesome thanks will be replacing mine this weekend.
Thanks for sharing. That was super easy. I did mess up on one thing. While replacing the rear door piece the old/worn inside half fell down into my door panel. It's easy to do if you weather strips were as bad as mine were.
If they tear, stop, get needle nose pliers, take your time, lift and try twisting also.
Thanks for taking the time to post the video. Getting ready to replace mine as well
2009 Tundra.. ordered from OEM.. very easy to install. the first 3 I had the dealership install, they charged me $100 ea... not realizing how easy it is to replace I did the 4th window myself.. Andrew you saved me $100.. thank you.
Awesome!! I’m glad I could help, Brian!
Just replaced my trucks belt weatherstripping following your video! From ordering parts to doing the installation it went as smooth as could be. Thank you!
Thanks I didn't think it was going to be that easy
Thanks man, this was a great video. I just replace both my right side moldings in about less than 10 minutes.
Great to hear! I’m glad you were able to benefit from the video.
Smooth install! Thanks for the video!

Thank you. Works on 2010 too

Great video man. When you pull the old ones out use needle nose pliers to grab the inside rubber part that runs the length of the window or it will fall down inside the hollow body of the door and rattle around when you open and close. Don't ask me how I know this.
Brother man! Awesome, thanks! I'm sure this will work for my 2008.
I have been asking my mechanic friend for 4 days then I was like hey check YT!
Just ordered mine. I appreciate the video and info.
Got the parts in and replaced all 4. No issues. Thanx!!!
Terrific video! I am replacing mine and the antenna molding. Apparently they are no match for the sun.
Thanks! Gotta do this to my 2011 Tundra soon as the parts come in.
Worked well. I did have to use a flat head to take off the old (clip area) but otherwise helped Thanks!
I appreciate you bro!!!
Great video. Thank you!
Thank you dude, you helped me😊
Need to replace on my Toyota Rav4, so hoping the process is similar. thanks for the video!
Was it similar?
great simple, but informative, video....thanks for posting!
Very helpful! Thanks!
Just what I was looking for! You wouldn't happen to have any part numbers for these would you? Thanks!
This is the set I bought- www.ebay.com/itm/2007-2018-Toyota-Tundra-DCB-Outer-Door-Belt-Moulding-4pc-Weatherstrips-OEM-OE/253067637315
Thanks for the video this will be my next project
Good Video!!
I bought an aftermarket set that do NOT snug-up; will order OEM and try again.

Thanks Bud
Thanks for the info! I need to do this on my Tundra ASAP. Have you done a video on removing the inner door panels?
David - Sadly, I haven’t yet...
Thank you 🙏🏽
Thanks man!
Great video - Thank you.
price has changed a lot. it's now about $107 shipped vs when you got it for $65 shipped.
Toyota OEM ones will run you $500+. These aftermarket ones are cheap enough to replace every couple of years
