The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Main Theme (fixed audio)

- The original version of the song has an awkward pause in the middle, and after that the music sounds louder and with more reverb. It's as if the song wasn't recorded all at once (which may be the case) or people messed it up in post-production. I tried to fix that with the few audio editing skills I possess. Enjoy!
NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. THE RIGHTS OF THIS SONG GO TO THEIR RESPECTIVE OWNERS.
When I finally finished the game and this song played during the credits, I was STUNNED that the pause was still there. In the game trailers I could kind of forget it, but what the heck was that? Minor grievance in the grand scheme of things, but just weird.
It’s an intentional pause made by the composer, it’s supposed to symbolize Link breathing his first breath of air when he wakes up from his hundred year slumber.
Anzack if it’s an intentional pause made by the composer, why is it clearly a post-production edit rather than a simple pause or hold done by the orchestra in the original recording? It doesn’t feel natural and it’s jarring, whether or not it’s symbolic of anything.
@@fishiefish6179 also it feels to short to be intentional and too long to be noticeable. If it was longer I could give it a pass but..
@@drfodwazle3783 a lot of people in the comments and around the world they just don't realize these things. And they don't care much either, it seems, if you look for the first opening of Shingeki no Kyojin that has the most views on youtube, the same thing happens in the last seconds. The person who uploaded it used the original audio (longer full song) and put it on the video, it's noted that he cut the audio near the end. But still, millions of visits and likes.
Whether or not the pause was intentional, I like to imagine it as a breath in the middle of the song. A musical representation of 'The Breath' of the Wild
Nintendo has taken down all the proper versions and now edits like these are all we have left. Thank you for uploading something edited enough so that Nintendo can't remove it, but no thank you for removing its character.
YOU'RE BACK!
This aged badly.

Why can't I find a version of this song with the pause, for real. The pause is very much intended and makes it much better.
I come to the rescue! And yes, I feel you! Here: ruclips.net/video/LiTsXcrxZfg/видео.html

When you don't have Switch and can only listen to the music and not play the game :'(
Its on the WiiU
Buy one or use the Wii U
Try saving up for a Wii U or a Switch Lite instead. Both are much cheaper than the Switch and you can still play BotW on them :D

"Kataoka also realized the importance of reflecting Link’s emotions and journey. She added the break in the main theme to relate to Link’s 100-year sleep, with the music starting again to reflect Link’s first breath when awakened. The break in the music symbolizes the divide between Link’s past, and his first steps in his new adventure. Kataoka mentioned that she does not usually analyze her own work like this, but is glad to have the opportunity to do so on the Zelda blog."
The pause is entirely intentional. You ruined this track.
WORST ZELDA THEME EVER
wut.
I don't care if the pause is intentional, this is beautiful
Hello,
I was just wondering how you got the license for your other videos that have classical music. I'd like to use the 1812 overture song in a video but I don't want to get copyrighted. Thanks
1812 overture is in public domain
But specific recording are not. You need to performers permission to use their recording.
Are you dumb
very long time science your last upload, greetings from Mexico.
Thank you. Don't have much free time nowadays and this one was a quick edit.
avrilfan2213 Surely you had spare time in the last three years 😂
@@avrilfan2213 Hi! Can you please turn on comments for Antonin Dvorak - New World Symphony ~Largo~
I love reading people their stories and opinions about it. Thank you.
The pause is actually intentional. Why would you butcher the theme by editing out the pause???
It’s not the pause that’s bad it’s when the audio comes back that something got messed up.
Because the pause doesn't sound good? It sounds like someone fucked up in the editing phase which...is really bad considering it was an intentional addition
@@GlitchyPixExtra why? It is essential to the combination of the theme with the visuals
@@klamin_original Because there's a distinct lack of any sort of transition between phase 1 of the song, the pause and phase 2. The pause is jarring but not in the good way where it clearly _feels_ intentional. It's jarring in the way where it kinda sounds like there were technical difficulties in the editing phase.
Tears of the Kingdom has a similar pause and, honestly, the way it handles its pause is much better and less weird and jarring since there's a transition between both phases of the song through use of a small sound effect. I feel like the pause here would be far more natural sounding if there was something similar to that here (even just something small like a gasp of air or something)
(I do want to make it clear that no, I don't think the pause is actually unintentional, it wouldn't be in the game if it wasn't supposed to be there)
Woke up in a bathtub
Forgot I couldn’t paraglide
This old man came up to me
And said to go and find some shrines
So then I became a loyal ranger
And fought the banana cult
Tried to keep folks out of danger and slay thunderblight but kept getting hurt
Went to kakariko
Tasked to save the champions
Found my memories and came back wiser
Collected monsters’ guts and brains
Tried to cook and failed it (ew)
And for fun did Kass’ campaigns
(“The serpent’s jaws?! What does that even mean?!
…ILL FIGURE IT OUT EVENTUALLY GIYS TRUST ME”)
I love this exploration game
So much adventure still to see!
Hope nothing bad ever happens to me 😅
Idk but I think the serpents jaws is Dracozu Lake (or whatever its called), you can see it on the map (looks like jaws)
zeldphibia.
@Mastrr YES! YOU GOT THE REFERENECE-
@PygoCentrus Thanks, I appreciate that. I thought it meant the ACTUAL serpent-like dragon, which would have been really cool!
