I don't think the bongo player gets appreciated enough. Trying to hambone along with that guy is actually exhausting, and their rythm really makes this theme _this theme!_
Considering they follow an Arabian style, I'd say that's not a bongo, but something like a derbak, which is more suitable to make this kind of beat, like you hear on songs for belly dance.
Only fought one once for the side quest and I was NOT focused on the music, I was praying that thing didnt swallow me whole and rather the bombs I plant
moldugas are my favourite mini bosses, easy to find, fun to fight, and have bangers, especially when theyre vunerable, and when you kill them they give you good things
Have you played Cadence of Hyrule? This question _is_ related to your comment lol. Anyway I recommend it if you haven't, and if you have you might know why I'm asking.
Fun fact: this artwork is not possible in-game. (Regardless of if that cliff is there or not, the Shrine on the Great Plateau is glowing orange in the artwork, while other towers are blue, meaning that somehow Link would have to have left the Great Plateau here without finishing the initial Main Quest on it, which obviously is not possible.)
I still remember the coolest move i ever pulled. I accidentally sled into a moldugua fight with no high places close enough to run to in time. The thing was coming straight for me and was coming in hot. I slid off my sand seal and at the last second i had the idea to chuck a bomb away from me while standing still. By some miracle, this worked and a mulduga shot out of the ground inches away from me
Cellist: Sweating hard as they hammer out the melody Bongo Drummer: Having either the time of their life... or a seizure Violinist: Lindsey Stirling joins the fight! Tambourinist: Scared, and hiding in the background
The Legend of Zelda is a masterpiece. All the quests, characters, themes, places ! I do not feel shame when I'm writing this because I mean it. I transcend from reality to this huge map, and Link... All the battles he has achieved, everything he has explored... This game actually has impacted my life, and it's a sensation I cannot describe... so good ! Sadly, this 2017 to 2021 BOTW era is over... but I never really stopped from playing Zelda. Thanks ! Hope people feel like I do.
Yup! That was exactly me last night 🤣 I'm finally playing BotW for the first time, and just came across my first Molduga last night. Just mindlessly walking towards the Southern Oasis, getting very sleepy (it was late at night and I was playing in bed)... Then all of a sudden the music started playing and the name/healthbar appeared on screen, even turning the camera around I couldn't even see the moving sand at first 😅 That definitely woke me up haha "Why do I hear boss music?!"
The part with the violins could perfectly be a battle theme from Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. As a KH fan and a Zelda fan, I loved this song when I first heard it
Imagine a mixture of this and the guardian theme as some horrifying guardian-like monstrosity chases you through the sand
This should’ve been what the king molduga is in the champions ballad dlc

WE MAKIN IT OUT OF GERUDO TOWN WITH THIS ONE 🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥
Making it into gerudo town is actually more accurate in this context
as someone who entered gerudo town walking in a straight line from the labyrinth i can confirm of this
@@sumtinqueso5790 real
you mean we making it IN to gerudo town with this one.
Me in BotW: no problem, I'll just lure it with a rolling Remote Bomb! Easy.
Me in TotK: ...Uh oh. Now I have to come up with a new idea.
You can just throw any item on the ground to make a noise, and then fire a Bomb Flower at its stomach to knock the Molduga down.
My thoughts exactly when I fought my first Molduga in TotK XD 🤣
What I'll do is drop a bomb flower and fire arrows around it, it's a little jank but it works okay for me
*shoots one arrow at the ground
*waits
*it comes and leaps
*Bomb Arrow's its stomach
well that was easier than I was expecting
hope it likes time bombs

They did not need to give a sand shark a theme this fire bro
But they did
Japanese orchestral music pieces are always 🔥 especially for games

A better fight would be great. Moldugas were my favorite bosses, but could be beaten by standing on a rock.
If the Molduga are back, which they most likely are, they'll probably just use this exact theme again.

I love how this is like a desert-themed Jaws theme. And boy, does it fit the fight.
this is class A strings and I love it--I imagine a string group performing this live would be utterly amazing.
