Happy Weekend my beautiful fam hope you are all having a blessed day, enjoy another easy and delicious recipe! It’s corn season and who doesn’t like tamales de elote??? Let me tell you if you haven’t tried them you have to try them now! They are so easy to make, and so flavorful these are not uchepos, although very similar this are not it! My sister in laws mom gave me her recipe and the only difference is that she don’t add Maseca and she adds sugar! Those are delicious as well but just keep that in mind 😊♥️ I love you all 😘😘😘
Girl you are such a great cook for your age . I am way older than you and you showed me I can still learn something new from a beautiful young women like yourself . Loved your video and your corn tamales recepie . Great job !
I have been a subscriber and fan for a minute. ❤️ I show my bf your videos, too. Sometimes, before we take a bite, we say, "and now for the best part!" I have made several of your dishes. They always come out great! ❤️❤️❤️
I have never seen corn tamales with fresh corn or queso cotija. They look scrumptious! The salsa looks amazing as well. I would like to top all kinds of foods with that!
When l was living in Chandler, Arizona, these tamales were sold after Mass ! l'm back in San Antonio, Tx. Wow Claudia, now l have the recipe ! Thank you ❤
My family is from Michoacán and we refer to these as “uchepos”. We also eat them with sour cream, salsa de molcajete and queso fresco. Yours look just as delicious!
Im straight gringo from the southern united states. I met a lady from Guerrero who made me these. With sour cream and chona cheese. This is my favorite authentic mexican food ive ever had. Wish i still knew her so i could get these again.
Wow, Claudia, that's an exceptional stove! I remember when you started with that glass top stove. What a nightmare. Your cooking tools are also chef Chef level. Good for you, keep turning out that wonderful food.
I prepared your green chili tamale recipe and it was amazing but instead of pork shoulder I did two versions I used filet mignon and Chicken breast with a little habanero and it was amazing thank you very much.🤗 Dios de bendiga 😇
Cooking with Gas stove has a way better taste than cooking with Electric stove. YES u can Taste the difference. . Love ur cooking shows and vlogs.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA 🇺🇸 STAY SAFE 😁
How is it different? I would think grilling steaks over a gas grill would def. taste diff. Than using a charcoal grill… but heating up a pan… the pan won’t know how the heat got there or where it came from. 🤔
Yes I’ve been looking forward to another cooking video. I love all your recipes. Thank you for not only sharing your cooking with us but also the fun you have with your family. I hope you all have a happy 4th of July 🎉🎊🥰❤️
To save a bit of aggravation on pulling the silk off which btw works like a charm, after slicing about 1.5 inches off the bottom of the ear, grasp (squeeze like you using tooth paste) the top or pointy end with all the silk and slide the husks away from the top and a vast majority of silk is removed in one go……no picking and making a mess
I made these tamales.I followed the recipe, except I cut the recipe in half. I’m glad I did. They tasted like corn bread. The chile con queso was good. I don’t think I would make the tamales again. Thank you
Thanks for showing we can use the fresh corn leaves, I never knew that. It looks real good but I have to do a low salt version for a heart health diet😬 . It won't taste the same but I have to make food now with low salt.
I was looking in the description for the measurements & I think there was a typo about the queso cotija as queso corona & got so confused 😂 but this looks so good & simple to make, love ❤️
Hello Claudia 👋, The tamales looked so mouth watering and so delicious girl ! I love watching you cook cause I can’t cook too good. Plus it’s just me and my hubby. If it’s super easy and for two people I might be able to make it. But that’s a big if. Lol 😬. Your food looks so fantastic. 😋😋😋😋😋😋. Have a fun 4th of July !
Hello and thank you for this recipe. How many cups of creamed corn is made using fresh corn? Sweet corn isn't available year round so I am interested in using canned creamed corn in its absence. Thank you.
can you describe the difference in flavors between the regular tamales and the tamales de elote? it would be interesting to know how you compare the taste and the texture. and to know which one you prefer if you had to choose. i enjoyed the video!
