This is personally my favorite drop ship model. Not only was this a beta concept but it also has that cool twist with combine technology. You really can't tell where the synthetic modifications begin or end. And the storage compartment containing the soldiers is actually part of the ship!
idk why but to me it looks like a flying MF DOOM maks, i giggle every time i see this model fly around lmao. besides, the whale thing is much more interesting visually and falls into the combine design philosophy: large capacity, can carry anything, similar parts with gunships etc

as cool as it is, i do feel that it kind conflicts with the combine models. it's probably just the coloring of it
