I got this mod and I was like, “NO WAY!” And I used it with the combine suits and it was awesome, and yes you can command them, they’re friendlies edit 1: if you alert where enemies are if you have a combine suit on, they will land near you and drop down reinforcements, pretty cool

How do you get the combine suit?
entities- or another mod is conflicting with it so it doesn’t load into the spawn menu.
@@dragoemperor3439its another mod, the name is Combine Suits [BASE] [BETA] by filz0. Be careful there are two versions, you don't want to the the older one (nothing malicious, its just worse, the old one is called Combine Suits 2.0 [Outdated], also by filz0)
@@bruhh1377its in the weapon tab and you need Combine Suits [Base] mod oh and make sure to get the mods needed too or else first person will be broken, also necros made a showcase on that mod too

I don't think dropships are ever seen deploying striders in Half Life 2, though I think you can see them at least carrying striders a couple times.

That was because they deployed them OUTSIDE of your view, heck same goes for when you see a deployed Strider be loaded onto a Dropship it's always done outside of your view and well outside of your reach.

Wouldn't really consider combine patrolling to be a feature, its something that happens in default gmod if you just spawn in a bunch of combine with ignore players on

I've been using this for 2 years, really fun. However if the map has no ai nodes or alot of rooftops and walls, the drop ship will put the combine in they walls. Very bad if you don't like the combine shooting you through the floor.
If the map doesn’t have nodes, then the combine can’t really move.

You should check out the necrotic VJ npcs again they added a lot more content.
So just to clarify the Dropship being "destroyed" the container is what can be destroyed, HOWEVER in the actual game doing this WILL cause the game to crash once the Dropship reaches the edge of the map, in fact there was a custom campaign that actually had a bug where a Dropship would leave the container just like it would in this mod only it would result in the map crashing as if the container was destroyed.
Feels like a thing that they shoud've added into vanilla gmod!

I liked the HL2 beta dropship model, I wished there was a mod that added it to Gmod. (Totally not foreshadowing a mod)

Pretty cool it has an animation and all that, a neat little rollout though would be epic to have a setting to make it a bit faster so no ambushes
I love this mod, but I only wish that the dropship wouldn’t just drop the container, because that’s not how it works in HL2

necros there's a mod called infinite ammo, I'll send a link in the discord when I can. Trust me, it's very useful
Why have infinite ammo when you can literally just bind "givecurrentammo" to a key and have infinite ammo at your beck and call, I mean 9999 ammo isn't exactly something you're going to be burned through anytime soon.
