The coach of Waterboy is played by Henry Wrinkler. He was in a popular sitcom in the mid 70s tthru the 80s called Happy Days. He played the Fonz who would get all the prettiest girls. He would also start a jukebox by pounding lightly on it. The show in a promotional episode to keep it running had the Fonz (Wrinkler) on skis dragged by a boat so he could jump using a ramp over a shark. That's where the phrase "Jumping the shark" came from when something's going to be a failure.
Jumping the shark refers to something escalating to a ridiculous degree, not a prediction of failure. Fast 5/6 are generally considered the 'jumping the shark' of the franchise and it is still going strong.

Rob Schneider, the man in the crowd, has uttered the line "You can do it!" as a running gag in Sandler's films The Waterboy, Little Nicky, 50 First Dates, The Longest Yard, and Bedtime Stories, as well as in a deleted scene from Click (a sample of Schneider saying the phrase also turns up in the song "Original Prankster" by The Offspring). Returning the favor, Sandler appeared in a cameo to spout the same line in Schneider's The Animal.
The football announcers are Brent Musburger ( real life sports announcer who worked for CBS) and retired quarterback Dan Fouts. The sideline reporter who interviewed Vicky was the great wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Lynn Swann.

I used to work for a news casting company that would help assign anchors to certain news radio or TV stations. They job eventually expanded into helping cast voice actors for children’s shows or commercials. The voice Asia did at 6:51 was really good. Could be used for a lot of different type of characters
lmao Asia noticed the donkey in the living room and gator/shark on the table, but missed that she also got mad a said " don't you raise your voice to me bobby bouche"!!! When Bobby whispered to her "uhm i was thinking maybe i can get a new job as waterboy on a different team"??
The coaching showing his ass was a huge deal. Because that coach was the Fonz from Happy Days and that tatoo looks just like the Fonz also. He was the cool guy in the show how had an ability to make machines work just by kicking or hitting them.
Captain Insano!!!!!! What a fun little movie. Vicki Vallencourt perfectly cast. And I love Kathy Bates as an actress. You want to watch a great movie with her, check out Misery with Kathy Bates and James Caan. Based on a Stephen King book. Kathy Bates is absolutely terrifying. James Caan plays a writer whose car crashes in the woods during the winter in Maine . Kathy Bates, who is a nurse finds him. That's all I'll tell you. it's a great one!
Lynn Swan talking to Vickie! Lynn was famous when I was a kid for always diving to catch the football that Terry Bradshaw threw to him. We all called it the 'Swan Dive'.
The person who was Captain Insano is wrestling veteran and legend in his own right, Paul Wight aka "The Giant" aka "The Big Show." The teacher wasn't actually Colonel Sanders but rather an intentional look alike for a movie gag. Good shout out! Another good Fooseball movie is The Replacements with Keanu Reeves and Gene Hackman. Has a bunch of other actors in there as well.

3:45 The guy that plays the bad coach is a country music and guitar playing legend named Jerry Reed.
He's one of the best guitar players you'll ever see. One of his popular songs is "Amos Moses". He was also in a classic movie with Burt Reynolds called "Smokey and the Bandit".
Love waterboy what a classic Adam Sandler movie
This movie along with happy Gilmore had me thinking that Adam Sandler could really kick ass.
Happy Gilmore my #1 favorite
And this movie and The Longest Yard makes me think he could really play football.
@@davidkessinger1581 he can really play basketball.
26:25 My favorite line from the whole movie! 😆😂🤣
I love this movie! Its so funny. Kathy Bates is great. ❤😂 and of course you guys too! Have a great week.
You could tell you guys were having a blast watching this one. It was actually infectious and had me reliving the first time i saw this movie. Keep it up and much love!
That's not a horse... That's a donkey in the living room. A real live @$$ 🤣
There are some big names - actress Kathy Bates played 'Mama' (She was the psycho in 'Misery'... Molly Brown in 'Titanic')
and actor Henry Winkler (best known as 'The Fonze' on the TV series 'Happy Days')
The coach, "Henry Winkler" was on a tv show called Happy Days. He was the Fonz.
And Principal Hembry from the first Scream.
Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison, 50 First dates and many more
35:24 sets the tone of this film. One of the most fun movies to watch. Love the reactions you both do - give them some love everybody and hit that sub button!
I loved how into the big game you guys were! This is a fantastic comedy, got a lot of great quotable lines! One of the big movies from his golden age of comedy.
I used to work for a news casting company that would help assign anchors to certain news radio or TV stations. They job eventually expanded into helping cast voice actors for children’s shows or commercials. The voice Asia did at 6:51 was really good. Could be used for a lot of different type of characters
This is one of my favorites. The cast was great. I am glad you guys enjoyed it.
That line where mama calls Vickie a witch was I feel a call back to the craft or the worst witch cause Fairuza was both Nancy and Mildred
lmao Asia noticed the donkey in the living room and gator/shark on the table, but missed that she also got mad a said " don't you raise your voice to me bobby bouche"!!! When Bobby whispered to her "uhm i was thinking maybe i can get a new job as waterboy on a different team"??
I could watch Asia smile all day, so adorable 😄
The coaching showing his ass was a huge deal. Because that coach was the Fonz from Happy Days and that tatoo looks just like the Fonz also. He was the cool guy in the show how had an ability to make machines work just by kicking or hitting them.
Iconic movie Billy madison next please 😂
We all called it the 'Swan Dive'.
at 18:33 is a great line because when mamma said that witch will cast a spell on you, Vikki played the lead witch in The Craft in 1996
Wedding Singer is my fav Sandler film ! Def recommend if you haven't seen it 😂
The guy that called him an inspiration outside of the hospital, is Ron Howard's brother, Clint.
I use to work in Houston and one of the security guards was from Lewzeeanna, I literally only understood about 50% of anything He ever said.
Kathy Bates as his momma imo is by far the best character in the movie. She is an amazing actor.
Another one of the good ones. Adam Sandler is AWESOME!!! Great Post, guys.
Big Daddy and Longest Yard are amazing movies 🎬
The person who was Captain Insano is wrestling veteran and legend in his own right, Paul Wight aka "The Giant" aka "The Big Show." The teacher wasn't actually Colonel Sanders but rather an intentional look alike for a movie gag. Good shout out!
Another good Fooseball movie is The Replacements with Keanu Reeves and Gene Hackman. Has a bunch of other actors in there as well.
Straight after Waterboy, you should go for Little Nicky (2000) It's cut from the same cloth
