The part in the car where Jim Carey was pretending to run... He was imagining that it wasn't the car going fast, it was him running fast. "It feels like you're running at an incredible rate Harry"
Harry is played by Jeff Daniels, another great actor! They begged him not to do this movie out of fear it would kill his career (he's a more serious actor) and he wanted to do it after reading the script, it turned out to be a major success lol. This movie is a classic!!! They did a sequel a few years ago now but it's awful. I think another funny movie you two would enjoy is "Date Night" with Steve Carell and Tina Fey! Please upvote so they see. ♥
One of the best one-liner movies of all time. 😂😂. My wife and i still quote this movie to this day. ‘How’s ya burger?’ ‘Harry….. your hands are freezing.’. etc…. classic😂😂
You know what would have been funny? If they had an end credit scene where it's a year later and Lloyd finally realizes that the bikini girls were talking about them.
I howled the first time I saw this back in the 90s. I still quote it til this day with my closest friends 😂 Too many good lines. I’m so glad to hear y’all reference In Living Color. You might be the first reactors I’ve heard say they actually watched it. Such a funny show. Way better than SNL & it was probably better than Mad TV, too.
1) A close friend of mine was room mates with Jeff Daniels in HS. Jeff was like that in high school. His nickname was "Ludd" ..Why I don't remember. He wasn't acting in that movie. 😂 He was going back to being 17 again.
I was confused at the beginning. But after the film it all made sense: So Asia has been trolling poor BJ for some time, and he didn't know what was going on? Ahaha... I love it. My partner and I do this constantly (sometimes I have planned something that takes months to come to fruition), and she's really good and getting friends involved. It might be 40% of the strong foundation we have built upon. I love it! 😍
I saw this in theaters with the whole family. I was 7 or 8. My parents made sure I had a solid sense of humor. Gave me free reign with exploring comedy. The greatest gift they ever gave me tbh.
Omg I love watching movies with you two 😂😂😂 This movie still cracks me up and I can't even tell you how many times I've seen it. I still use lines from it too like.... I like it alot, just go man, I was way off. On a road trip with my ex husband and 2 boys, he says he needs a runner to follow so we could go faster so I did what any dumb person would do and started running in the passenger seat. We laughed and laughed for about 30 minutes. Gut busting laughing 😂😂😂 Good times.
YES... WATCH PART TO! LOL... I HIGHLY Recommend you guys watch the 2003 Prequel "Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd" .... It doesn't have Jim or Jeff in it... but the guys who play the younger versions KILL IT!! That movie is HILARIOUS!! They did the prequel justice!!!! 🤣🤣
The family has enjoyed this movie again and again countless times :) It was great to see you two loving it too, please do not watch the sequel it is a bad disappointment to the point where it doesn't even exist as any possibility to be watched amongst the fam. Love you two, and all your reactions too!! ^_^ oxo

@Reelin' with Asia and BJ 16:03 that movie that Lloyd is referring to is Something Wild it is a Jeff Daniels 1986 movie with Late Ray Liotta and in Fact that Scene is a Jeff Daniels Scene and pulls it to Ray Liotta except Jeff Daniels wins at the End while fighting
That's nuts I've seen Dumb and Dumber a million times. As a kid we rented Something Wild several times (for some reason), but I haven't seen it since. I didn't make the connection until your comment and remember the scene from Something WIld. It's crazy the things my parents let me watch as a kid. Something Wild is a DARK movie from what I can recall.
I'm SO glad you guys watched this!! I LOVE this movie.. My best friend is constantly saying the line "GOODBYE, MY LUHH--" & abruptly stopping or walking into a wall, acting like Lloyd gander-necking & slamming his limo into a parked car.. I can't watch that scene without laughing out-loud hysterically. Lol. Or the Petey scene.. Or the two pair of gloves scene.. Too many to name..😂 OK, SOO... My PERSONAL opinion is that you two should not only watch the sequel, 'Dumb & Dumber 2,' (which isn't AS funny as the original, but then again, what sequel ever is tbh? It is still a very funny movie &, without giving anything away, it brings back a few funny iconic & nostalgic things & situations from the first film, so to me it's worth it for that stuff alone), but I think you guys should ALSO check out the other one as well sometime.. Yes, guys, there is a THIRD FILM in this series!! Way before the actual sequel ever came about, in 2003, a PREQUEL came out called 'Dumb & Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd'.. Jim Carey & Jeff Daniels sadly aren't in this one.. Instead, we get younger versions of themselves with Derek Richardson (from 'Hostel') as Harry & Eric Christian Olsen (from 'NCIS: Los Angeles') as Lloyd (& for the record, those guys are pretty spot on, lol). It shows us how the two met & follows them during their high school years. Eugene Levy ('American Pie') & Bob Saget ('Full House') are two gems that round out the cast. Consider this the 'Jurassic Park 3' of the 'Jurassic Park' series: It's not better than the other two films by a long shot, but IMO, that's holding it to too high of standards, tbh.. On its own, I personally find the film funny & Bob Saget has a very memorable scene in it that still makes me laugh whenever I think about it.. I think it's a pretty cool movie, but that's just me.. Still, I wasn't sure if you guys even knew it was a thing, lol, so I felt like you should at least have ALL your full options, whether you ever watch it or not.. Lol. Lloyd still has both his iconic bowl cut hair & his chipped front tooth in this one, too, btw..lol! But yes, definitely check out the sequel at the very least.. And I hope you guys get to 'The Dark Knight Rises' soon too.. No rush, I'm just ready for it.. I been on a 'Batman' binge with you guys all week &, even though I've literally seen it seems like a hundred times already, we've gotten ALL the way to the very last of this trilogy & now I'm in the zone guys, lol, I'm ready for it..😂 I'm like "WHEN TF ASIA & BJ GONNA FINISH NOLAN'S 'BATMAN'?!?"😉🤣🤣☠☠🤭 Don't get it twisted, I love me some 'Dumb & Dumber,' but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a LIL BIT disappointed earlier seeing 'TDKR' not on the agenda yet...lol!😉 Thank you guys SO MUCH for doing what you do, we love you guys & are huge fans! Ya'll be easy, ight? Much love from TN, Fam..❤✌🏻💯
here's a quote from his co-star Daniels: "There were moments, very few, where Jim would go off. And one of the few was, "You wanna hear the most annoying sound in the world?" That was in the middle of a take, what's he doing? "Eeeeehhh" and then he does it, and I just repeated what he was doing, because when in doubt, repeat Jim. And that was kind of it, that was - I don't remember other improv stuff."

You just can't contain a guy like Jim! Many of his best scenes are improvised and memorable lines are often completely spontaneous. Remember the "most annoying sound in the world" from this film? You could probably tell this wasn't in the script by the genuinely horrified look on Jeff Daniel's face as Jim leans over and lets him hear it. It was off the cuff in typical Carrey style. And in the bar scene in Aspen, the line "No way... that's great. We've landed on the moon!" was also made up by Jim right on the spot when he saw the framed newspaper. Some say Jim hasn't taken any dramatic roles lately due to the poor box-office performance of his previous ones. But apparently, he will only perform in a movie that has a completely positive message. He has struggled with depression, and due to his own personal belief system doesn't want to project anything negative.

We all just came because we love to see Asia laugh incontrollably and enjoy all these 90's comedy movies... :)
I am here to watch Asia smile, squee and laugh. 😍
Ya, her smile makes you want to be her friend
@@vancelubben4527 She seems like a winner to me.
Jim Carrey at the time, had Ace Ventura,Dumb and Dumber and The Mask the following year,1995. This man was a huge influence on me how to be comedic without overselling and be convincing at the same time.
💜💙 I'm so excited to see this reaction. This movie will have y'all rollin! 😂
I third that. There is that one family of like six black brothers, or friends, i can't tell. They are hilarious also. Love your stuff maybe a little more.
I say, “I like it ah lot” so many times. I haven’t watched this movie in a long time and it was a delight to watch it here and enjoy your reactions! Have an awesome weekend!
One of my all time favorites! I literally can recite every line due to seeing it so many times...
bro same here, my brother and i would choose either lloyd or harry and act out the entire movie together
So your saying there's a chance.
Applicable in so many situations.
So glad you guys were able to watch the Theatrical Cut!!! The Unrated cut is the most widely available one but i think some of the extra scenes are kind of mean spirited, this is the best cut!! Awesome reaction!! 😁😁
Exactly. I didn't see your comment earlier but yeah AVOID that extended cut.
I second that.
I'd argue the extended toilet scene is funnier than the original. All the other additions are more or less unnecessary
I can't stop laughing at Asia's laugh as she watches Jeff Daniels throw that snow ball and hitting that girl in the head😂. I've rewound that part at least 50 times just to watch Asia's laugh.
Keep up the good work!!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
For as mundane as it is, the short Big Gulp interaction is probably one of my favorite things in the movie
This is one of the best comedy movies ever made. It has always had a place in my heart and reminds me of my childhood and times long ago. You know those movies that really take you back…
The characters are pretty much a direct rip off of the movie 2 idiots in Hollywood
Ever made..?
@@Blit-X-TVLive Yes. One of the best ever made. Maybe it’s the nostalgia of the time period when it came out. I don’t know. But yes, I stand by that statement.
"Fell off the jetway again..." This line gets me every time. Once again, thumbs up you two.
Asia’s laugh and giggles are infectious 😀 glad you guys found this funny. From what i remember about the sequel, its not essential viewing. Have you reacted to Tommyboy yet?
Tommy Boy!!!!
The sequel is also good
Dumb and Dumber to is watchable somewhat funny.... I watched it once when 1st came out haven't seen it since.... D and D should've been a non sequel stand alone flick..... D&D is a work of art compared to D&D to...... seen D&D a hundred times vs D&D to's once viewing. Imo
49:55 the LOOK on BJs face when he realizes they're not gunna be the oil boys is Fing priceless 🤣
What a classic! “Something about Mary” “Kingpin” “me myself and Irene” are so funny
Kingpin would be my choice
Y’all that movie is a CLASSIC. Anytime it’s on I always watch it. Those two together complimented each other soooo good. Such a comedy gem. Love y’all ❤
I got a 95 on my exam tonight, and then I got to watch this reaction video. I FEEL AMAZING!!! Thanks for another great reaction. You two are so wonderful. 💜💙
Congrats on the exam! 🎉
@@aadams1006 Thank you! 😊
@@-blythe2986 Thank you so much!!! 😊😊😊
@@-blythe2986 😊
I love how the Bikini tour mishap broke his mind lmao. You could literally see the soul leave his body lol
Well, you finally landed on my #1 comedy of all time.
mine too, hundreds of times ive watched it
BJ's face was priceless at the end with the bus full of models! I had to rewind a couple of times! 😂😂
Asia and BJ have become my favorite reaction channel on RUclips. At first I thought they were my favorite couple reactors, but now they’re just my overall favorite. You two are awesome.
I’d love to see you go through the MCU.
I second that lol
its kind of ffunny that I only recently noticed how many reaction channels that I watch are couples reactions
The MCU is so mindless and overdone. I'm sure they will get to it though 😅
@@MovieJustin I’d like to see them get through Endgame at the very least. There’s a reason a lot reaction channels have done it: views.
The part in the car where Jim Carey was pretending to run...
He was imagining that it wasn't the car going fast, it was him running fast.
"It feels like you're running at an incredible rate Harry"
It makes me so happy to see you two laugh and giggle at a childhood classic 😂
Check out the 2003 prequel Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd, as well as the 2014 sequel Dumb and Dumber To.
I love Date Night!
@@Divamarja_CA Same it's hilarious!
Jeff Daniel's was also hilarious in the comedy movie Speed.
@@jeffreyjeziorski1480 Had me cracking up when they couldn't slow the bus down.
"What do you do? What do you do?", funniest line ever.
A great movie, with a great 90s sound track. The vocals from the crash test dummys is simply haunting.
I love watching you guys during slow points at my job. Got me walking around with a damn smile from your guys laughter.❤
I love your guys' reactions. It brings the movie back to life, and you two are really entertaining. Thank you.
This was so much fun! Rewatching this classic with y’all was a blast
🤣 This is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. It never gets old.
^_^ oxo
Dumb and dumberer was bad. But dumb and dumber 2 was awesome!
I am in tears watching his face and the end bus scene. Either they are completely idiots or complete geniuses
2/3 through this video and I gotta say, I watch all kinds of reaction channels and you's two are the best :D You play all the right scenes and your chemistry is perfect. Rock on BJ/A!!!
Too many to name..😂
OK, SOO...
I been on a 'Batman' binge with you guys all week &, even though I've literally seen it seems like a hundred times already, we've gotten ALL the way to the very last of this trilogy & now I'm in the zone guys, lol, I'm ready for it..😂 I'm like "WHEN TF ASIA & BJ GONNA FINISH NOLAN'S 'BATMAN'?!?"😉🤣🤣☠☠🤭 Don't get it twisted, I love me some 'Dumb & Dumber,' but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a LIL BIT disappointed earlier seeing 'TDKR' not on the agenda yet...lol!😉
Thank you guys SO MUCH for doing what you do, we love you guys & are huge fans! Ya'll be easy, ight? Much love from TN, Fam..❤✌🏻💯
BJ’s reaction to the bikini tour scene made the whole thing worth it.
here's a quote from his co-star Daniels:
"There were moments, very few, where Jim would go off.
I absolutely can't wait for this.
This is definitely the top 5 funniest comedies of all time imo. So quotable and absolutely hilarious 😂 ❤
Omg, this was a great review!!! Asia’s reactions and laughter got us right into the movie. You guys are too funny!! You’re both very entertaining watching these movies. God bless!
38:57 my fave scene from this movie. Lmao.
The looks on BJ’s face when they didn’t get on the bus, like he was going on that bus with them lol
this forever going to be one of my fav movie! so damn hilarious ! each time I watch it loll , love yalls reaction! x
I like that jokes diverted your expectations you thought it was going to accept it but he didn't he did the literal opposite of it I love having jokes just subvert your expectations cuz the thing is I like it when things just divert once expectations cuz it shows a lot more detail in the joke than you didn't realize
This was the best!! It was so awesome to watch someone see this for the first time 😂 love you guys!
20 years later and they did a sequel. It is actually quite good and Rob Riggle steals the movie.
“That suitcase belongs to me”
“Listen, Mr. Samsonite”
Such an underrated joke.
Oh im so pumped for this. Easily my favorite movie growing up. I had the soundtrack on CD that i used to play non stop also.
i had the soundtrack on cassette lol
Had a couple of brothers in my highschool that wore their suits for celebrity lookalike day.
One of my favorite Jim Carrey movies was "me myself and irene" raunchy but funny as hell lol
BJ couldn't stop laughing at this one!!😅
Seabass was the Captain of the Boston Bruins Cam Neely in real life.. Hall of Fame Hockey Player. Super tough dude who fought lots and scored lots.
