"You eat pieces of shit for breakfast?" One of the best comebacks in movie history.
Also, Fun Fact: Bob Barker's only request when asked to be in the film was that he won the fight, so they had to do a quick rewrite to let him win. RIP to the legend.

    Storytime!
My husband and I were married in '98, and he absolutely despises ballads, so we could not agree on a "first dance" song.
However, at the time Happy Gilmore was our favorite movie, so as a joke we decided to use Endless Love as our first dance. We figured everybody would think it was funny because that song is just *SO* not us, besides, friends dance to Endless Love in the dark. ❤
Yeah well ... nobody got the joke. (Did I mention it's like a 7 minute song?!) About 3 minutes in we were both like "this sucks" and we walked off the dance floor to get snacks 😄.

One of the best golf movies ever made.
As to terms, a birdie is one under par, an eagle is two under, and an albatross (or double-eagle in Europe) is three under. Getting the ball in in one shot is always called a hole in one, and when one puts the ball on the green from the tee, it's called 'driving the green'
I also love that they got legendary pro Lee Trevino in this as well (the older guy who always gives Happy that shocked face)

For a bit of context, Happy Gilmore came out in 1996, the year Tiger Woods debuted as a pro at 20 years of age and a year before he won 3 PGA Tour events. Tiger reinvigorated golf and brought in a lot of new crowds but ran into a little flak for being considered too flashy and emotional for traditional golf. That was also a time when quite a few golf clubs had rules against African Americans (which is noted in the joke Happy asks Chubbs about why he got kicked off the tour).

The “Mister! Mister!” woman at the home is actually the late comedian Anne Meara! (Ben Stiller’s Mother.)
Also… Got to say jumping how cool Carl Weathers is! Met him, at his home, on several deliveries I’ve done, & he is just so nice! I remember the first time I delivered to him.
He was signing some papers, & having a little difficulty getting the papers back into the manilla envelope, & said commented that it must be “my linebacker’s hands”. I replied, “At least you’re not dealing with that wooden job from, Happy Gilmore!” (He seemed to get a good chuckle from that.)
    😁
Keep up the great reactions, you two!
    Realize enjoy you both!
(Only wish I could afford to support your channel better… Someday, I hope.)
    Best to you always!
    😃

The Bob Barker scene is one of my all-time favorite moments in any comedy movie I've ever watched. So funny! 🤣 I watched Murder Mystery and Murder Mystery 2 on Netflix last weekend (Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston), and those movies were really funny too! Sandler still has it. 😁

Bob Barker was actually a trained black belt in Tang Soo Do Karate (taught by Chuck Norris, of all people) ... so he's definitely able to handle himself in a fight. He continued to work out and train in that up into his 70's
