it is $150 USD for the lot and then you have to hire a builder and Roystonea provides the plans. I have no idea how much the build is but my guess is a minimum of $250K USD I own in another community and thought I would use it as a vacation home..... 2 weeks there and I am moving to Jamaica... My Mom is Jamaican.

Construction not great, but I like the high ceilings and yard space is great to plant 10 nice fruit trees. I am looking at EdgeHill- houses are too close together, Pyramid Point- beautiful construction and windows are great. Community is not really there because it is more of an air bnb place which is great for a second home. Make sure to ask if the house can be short term rentals and Long term. The crest in Richmond only allows long term rentals to preserve the community. I like Whitehall as well.
What is the average cost to construct the Oleracea Model House? Also what would be an appropriate lot size to adequately accomdate this size house with some of the exterior ammenities?

Figure the building cost of about $100- $125 per sq ft. for a good quality house and about $50,000 for pool. So the cost is based on the size you select.

Ok....but when will all that construction be required to end? It is off putting to purchase a lot and build and then have people building 3-5 years down the line with noise, trucks, workmen etc. I would purchase only if there is a caveat that all construction be completed in a specific time frame.

Its a nice view but you can see the infrustructure are being damaged already look at the side of the road way it is not been maintained. In no time there will be no good roads to drive on. Alot of these developers just jumps in build up an area and dnt maintain the place.
Why are you quoting houses in Jamaica in US dollars. I'm not working US dollars I need to know how much it is in Jamaican dollars. Jamaica is Jamaica and Jamaica is not the USA

The plans are limited and lacks the luxurious look like many other upscale properties in Jamaica. They need to do some upgrading and provide more categories of plans. The houses look like office buildings and facilities.
There are a lot of restrictions when building. You have no form of autonomy. Please read the fine print carefully becaise buyers will definitely have remorse after buying The land is very expensive and they want to dictate how you build in the covenant. The designs etc are extremely limited. Very disappointed. No luxury for such expensive price. Its best to buy elsewhere.
150k for the lot? Jamaica is excessively overpriced everywhere. Their target buyers are definitely not us folks in the diaspora. Might as well stay in the US with those prices.

SO I estimate the cost of the 2 bed, to be about $160 USD , MATERIALS AND BUILDERS.
Did they even say how much the sq footage of lots are. Omggggg that’s expensive lol.

The lot sizes are in the video. The cost to build will vary based on the design chosen and the building contractor's price quote.

Lot prices are worth it, for this concept.
A lot alone is not worth $150,000.00 American but if the house is included then that would worth the price.
Crazy prices for lots. I can build 3-5 bedrooms for that price for the lots, and install better security features than security guards.
