I bet with all that liquid sunshine on the beautiful BC coast, things grow fast around the lighthouse. You guys have all the cool gadgets to take care of the landscape. Great video again.
The weather at Boat Bluff is unfortunately more rain then it is sun, especially this year but it does mean there is a lot of growth and the site does look amazing when it is properly maintained. I hope to get a little more into the landscaping next year and see what I can do with it.
All those chores I already do at my shop. Wish I had more time to do those things but customer trucks and tractors come first. Not enough days in the week for me.

The coast guard won't build any additional buildings and you have to be careful about what you do build or take down as the site is a heritage site and so can't be altered to any extent without approval from the Heritage board. That said, there was a greenhouse here at one time and many of the other stations do have greenhouses on site. I would be able to order wood and other items needed to build one myself without any issues but here at Boat Bluff there is also 4 good size garden beds that just need some work to get them up to planting status again.
Yeah, I am sorry for that. My principal went on vacation and it has been a little crazy the last few weeks. I will be making an update about it shortly. In the meantime, I was able to put together something I have been meaning to for a while. Uploading it today! Thanks for keeping in touch.

Could you get the BC government to build you a good greenhouse so that you can grow your own veggies?
