Glenn I had the top of the range Panasonic 43inch bought in 2006 it had the separate box for cables and I bought it without the side speakers . As you say faultless and still working now but did replace it with the LG G1 55 inch 2 years ago . Sony offered me £200 for it (off one of their tv's when I was looking .)

Save your money !, and just wait a little longer and go for the 55 inch LG G3 Evo. This model is far better than the LG G1. You will not disappointed. Trust me.
These ARE TV's that will dominate in 2024. But they are TV's from 2023. So What ? The price of the newest models will be high because of the latest technology.
