- We found a giant catfish who perhaps bit off more than it could chew after it partly swallowed a turtle. A tricky rescue mission ensues.

That turtle went to help a lot of other turtles who went to a similar traumatizing experience. He is now living in a big house, with a beautiful wife and all the happiness in the world.
Plot twist: the turtle was actually the one who tried to eat the catfish by taking its internal parts first.

The catfish was so calm, I was expecting it to be jerking around the whole time, but that was surprisingly easy.
I was expecting exactly the same! That is why we used a towel to help control it safely (even though I'd prefer not to), but it turned out to be unnecessary as it was that exhausted.

I think it was choking and appreciated the help. Could be the turtle was burying into its mud hole den, expecting it empty. Could be the turtle didn't realize it was inside a giant fish. Catfish are bottom dwellers and may have surfaced in distress.

Not everyone is like christiano ronaldo or Bolt. same for animals. every animal has its own environment, some fish can do salt and sea water, most fish can't do both, because they are not required to do so.
Some fish only spawn eggs in brackish water, and they will not reproduce in salt or fresh water. Some fish take care fo their babies, most fish don't , because that species is not required to do so.

thanks for trying to save the catfish and turtle - (after reading some comments i conclude) thanks for saving the catfish - i think the turtle really got drowned in the catfishs mouth - long before the catfish came to the surface. hints - the legs dont move, not even when pulled, the disgusted "uh" of the woman, no footage of the turtle - and the comment of the fish eating the turtle again - probably because he already tried to and the turtle didnt move in the water? they removed and rewatered the turtle in good hope - at least i like to think that. for a moment i thought i saw a movement of the head of the turtle as it got removed but it probably just swang. maybe some octopus will life in the turtles shell, who knows.
