that last clip is really something amazing, there are at least what 15 maybe 20 Hyenas? They felt confident against what 2 or 3 lionesses but the MOMENT one male lion shows up they all head for the hills. I'm pretty sure 20 of them could take him down but they all said nah. Truly the king of the jungle is feared.
@@timp1970 I know you aren't going to sit there and tell me you've never heard of the unofficial title of a male lion is king of the jungle? Like we all get lions don't live in a jungle but male lion's have always been referred to as king of the jungle. Heck Disney's movie The Lion King should even be another hint.
Exactly. If they banded together they could overwhelm him but I think they know that’s certain death/permanent injury for at least one of them and they know it’s not worth the the loss.
Male lion is capable of standing his ground and fighting. He is all about strength. And the female lions is all about hunting and agility. And lion is king of animal kingdom because they have people to care and fight for. And they do an good job. Any other animal kingdom may have flaws, betrayal for food or something. But Lions run on a rule and care of thier pride. You have any problem with the king, challenge him. But if you want to see the beast of the actual “Jungles”. Research for Tigers.
If you ask me, that Lioness was already injured. She was waaaaay to slow to get away. I believe she wasn’t hunting in the first place, just seeking cover at the wrong place and time.
The reason they are doing that is because they know taking off will take too long... So they know they have to play this game until they cant no more. By far the best part was when papa bear came and defended his cub and wife I kept rewinding looking at the little baby bear looking at his dad with pride that Big Bear was not letting nobody hurt his family but that's a good dad.
Papa bears actually mate and leave, they don't stay with the family, the chances of that bear being the papa bear is less then 1%. They might stay for a week or two after mating but certainly not after the cubs are born and it has never happened is far is I know for a papa bear to stay in the family for months after they are born, its a natural instinct that both the papa and mama bear have to separate after mating for the greater good of both of them. Foraging enough food for the winter for one big bear is hard enough, even harder if you got 2 big bears and a few cubs.

Ok so I can confirm 2:16 kangaroos are known for either kicking the wind out of you while gouging your eyes out or standing in waist high water to drown you. Idk where this started but the idea of fighting a kangaroo in the water only for it to push your head under water is frightening.
Ive heard multiple stories of them killing wild dogs and dingoes doing this. Options are simple, get eaten or drown your attacker. I even heard one story that a roo will seek out water while being chased because it gives them the best defence.
Sea otters do this too. They'll lure dogs out into the water then drown them for dinner if the owner doesn't get control of their dogs. Several years ago there was even a report on the new from Victoria British Columbia about some owner almost losing their dog this way. Sea otters are bigger than you think (up to 5 feet and 100 pounds), and pretty vicious creatures if you actually do more than learn about them from the cute wildlife images on TV.
You know I've noticed how everyone always roots for the prey and demonizes the lion, but I honestly sympathize for the lion sometimes. It has to eat, just like us. Think how much it would suck being a lion, hungry all the time....
I noticed that too, poor lion was so thin, I honestly would have given it some food if I was there perhaps 30pounds of meat or something so it can recover some strength and start hunting again, it probably died after that injury since that attack broke it's leg. In a place like Africa you can not be injured otherwise you do not eat and die.
I love when people say " well they could use tranquilizer darts " like that 800lb gorilla couldnt kill the other one before they got shot if the other one couldn't defend itself even for a brief second.
I mean zookeepers could de-escalate things. But the gorillas weren’t doing that bad. Idk the context, but if that was all they fought, then they were just working things out. As a zookeeper, I have seen so many people freak out when animals act more sexual or violent then they do on PBS. Like lady, this is nature!
The cat chasing the bear...believable...cats are fearless. As far as the sloth bear with the two tiger's...they looked kinda young....an adult tiger would've definitely stood it's ground.liked all of the videos though👍
Not all cats are fearless like u said it’s actually a fact that youll have more mice and rats in your house if you own multiple cats because they are pussies and only go after defenseless animals as if a rat chased or charged the cat back the cat wouldn’t try to kill the mouse but get scared and run from it
It's not about being fearless. Sloth bears are super aggressive because that's how they have evolved to coexist with tigers and leopards. Predators don't operate out of pride. They gauge whether it's worth getting injured for a meal
People have no idea how dangerous a male kangaroo can be. I worked on a golf course in Australia for 30 years where many mobs lived. Those suckers stand 6 feet tall and have shoulders like Mike Tyson!!
Yeah, if kangaroos feel threatened they will find a deep pool of water, and antagonize the danger to chase them into the water, where they will proceed to shove the threat under water and drown it. It’s how they fend off natural predators like dingos. So never swim with kangaroos
She obviously just cared about them enough to worry they might injure each other & thought the zookeeper might know more about it than others on how to react. Nothing to be ashamed of.
I believe in letting nature take it’s course if something higher on the food chain find it’s meal, leave it alone. But recording your dog fighting for its life and not calling it back or doing anything to help? That’s kinda fucked.
@@achyuththouta6957 It's still a dog, are you saying that even though there's a dog dying or something terrible, it had to be owned for it's life to matter. That's convoluted as f*ck. So what does that make you, basically the average person? You only care about if it belongs to someone, the only difference between you and the average person is you care about it, under certain circumstances. Why does it have to be owned for it to matter? Are you braindead? It's still a living thing whether held captive by someone (admittedly better protected because it isn't out in the wild but still) or out in the wild. Based on what you said, you say it doesn't deserve help unless someone owns it. Once again, that's convoluted as f*ck.
That was not some rare occasion. They naturally do use ponds for defense from wild dogs - a kangaroo goes into water where it's shallow enough for it to stand but deep enough for the attacking dog to have to swim, and the kangaroo drowns the dog which has come too close. That is, this is their usual defensive behavior in the wild.

That was actually a gibbon, a type of ape from southern Asia. Notice that he does not have a tail, which is a characteristic of an ape. The tigers look like they would be cubs, so they haven't figured out what to do when a gibbon starts harassing them. that last clip is really something amazing, there are at least what 15 maybe 20 Hyenas? They felt confident against what 2 or 3 lionesses but the MOMENT one male lion shows up they all head for the hills. I'm pretty sure 20 of them could take him down but they all said nah. Truly the king of the jungle is feared.
King of the Jungle?

By far the best part was when papa bear came and defended his cub and wife I kept rewinding looking at the little baby bear looking at his dad with pride that Big Bear was not letting nobody hurt his family but that's a good dad.
yeah you are right
Papa bears actually mate and leave, they don't stay with the family, the chances of that bear being the papa bear is less then 1%.

Plus their dagger-like claws on their feet can potentially disembovel you.
Cute ❤
Ive heard multiple stories of them killing wild dogs and dingoes doing this. Options are simple, get eaten or drown your attacker. I even heard one story that a roo will seek out water while being chased because it gives them the best defence.
@@carla3246 felt cute might drown a dog later idk
Sea otters do this too. They'll lure dogs out into the water then drown them for dinner if the owner doesn't get control of their dogs. Several years ago there was even a report on the new from Victoria British Columbia about some owner almost losing their dog this way. Sea otters are bigger than you think (up to 5 feet and 100 pounds), and pretty vicious creatures if you actually do more than learn about them from the cute wildlife images on TV.

Aww that one poor lion was starving and scrawny... hunting alone and got attacked first just to be hurt 😞 poor soul
I stopped watching after this... 😢 So sad...
You know I've noticed how everyone always roots for the prey and demonizes the lion, but I honestly sympathize for the lion sometimes. It has to eat, just like us. Think how much it would suck being a lion, hungry all the time....
It was probably kicked out of the pack and was starving so sad 😞

One only was young, the other was the fully grown mother.
Not all cats are fearless like u said it’s actually a fact that youll have more mice and rats in your house if you own multiple cats because they are pussies and only go after defenseless animals as if a rat chased or charged the cat back the cat wouldn’t try to kill the mouse but get scared and run from it
Bears in India are often on the tiger's menu
A sloth bear isn't always the loser in a confrontation with a tiger. They are vicious.
It's not about being fearless. Sloth bears are super aggressive because that's how they have evolved to coexist with tigers and leopards. Predators don't operate out of pride. They gauge whether it's worth getting injured for a meal
0:55 why were they laughing?! That poor dog :(
The kangaroo and the dog made me laugh. I like how the baboons helped one of theirs with the alligator 👍

@@craigbarron3706 i think people do know how big they can get, if id ever saw one id know to look the other way. and i dont even live in austrailia
Yeah, if kangaroos feel threatened they will find a deep pool of water, and antagonize the danger to chase them into the water, where they will proceed to shove the threat under water and drown it. It’s how they fend off natural predators like dingos. So never swim with kangaroos
