I like how this track incorporates the goofiness that is Sharktopus and the intensity of the Indominous Rex
A match nobody thought of but everyone secretly wanted.
Wiz: The Indominus Rex, the Genetic Hybrid T-Rex from Jurassic World.
Boomstick: And The Sharktopus, the Genetic mix of a Shark… and an Octopus.
Wiz: When humanity does the despicable acts of playing god, they create dangerous hybrids that can kill you in an instant… only until a movie plot intervened and you kill these abominations of nature.
Boomstick: He’s Wiz and I’m Boomstick.
Wiz: And it’s our job to analyze their weapons, armors and mutated animal skills to find out who would win… a DEATH BATTLE.
High Budget vs Low Budget
Definitely up there with the "Who came up with this and why?" matchups but I always admire people's creativity and managing to weird fights ideas with connections that work way better than they should. And this isn't even the most bizarre one that I've seen.
I've been in love with this matchup ever since I found it in 2019, it's so stupid but works so well. For the fight it could take place in the jungle, the Indominus is wreaking havoc, a squad of soldiers appear with the Sharktopus as their ultimate weapon to take the Indominus down, Sharktopus has the collar on him so he has to obey their commands, so during the first half, the Sharktopus and the soldiers are working together to take down the Indominus along with protecting any soldiers that the Indominus goes after. However halfway through the fight, the Indominus destroys the collar, making the Sharktopus free from their control, and so now the Sharktopus has joined in on the carnage as they both are ripping apart and eating any soldiers that get too close. For the final act the Indominus throws the Sharktopus into a nearby river, she then checks to see if the Sharktopus is dead, but then is grabbed by the Sharktopus and dragged into the river, there the Sharktopus gets as many hits as he can to weaken the Indominus to the point where getting the killing blow won't be as risky, then he wraps his tentacles around the Indominus head as squeezes, sealing the Indominus' jaws shut, preventing her from being able to bite. If the Indominus wins she could muster up the strength to claw deep into the Sharktopus' tentacles loosening his grip, allowing the Indominus to break free and immediately gets one big bite on him, catching most if not all of the Sharktopus' tentacles, severing them from his body leaving him defenseless as she tears him apart. If the Sharktopus wins he could bite into her neck and then thrashes his head around, ripping into her throat, the Indominus uses the last of her strength to claw into him to try and loosen his grip but to no avail as he rips out a massive chunk of her throat.
If I could change the ending a little, have it be where they both are near the river (and not the Indominus throwing Sharktopus in the river) and if Indominus wins, then have her start ripping out his tentacles with him trying to drag her to the river with his remaining tentacles afterwards, only to not be able to pull it off in time and get all of the tentacles removed, leading to a brutal kill. If Sharktopus wins, then have him drag her into the water with her trying to rip out his tentacles or escape and return to surface, but failing due to her disadvantaged state and getting brutally killed. (I wanted the ending to be changed a little because the Indominus Rex has the advantage on land while Sharktopus has the advantage in the water, so the killing blow should have the winner killing the loser in their area on where they'd have the advantage with the loser trying to take the fight to their area but failing)

Sorry I couldn’t make it to the premier, busy with school, and after school activities but anyway, I’ll tell you all why I commissioned this. This is my most wanted and favorite MU of all time! I am a huge monster fan and I love monster movies. I love the Jurassic park/World Series and I am a huge fan of dinosaurs themselves. I love syfy original movies, and sharktopus is my favorite and will always be my favorite syfy movie of all time. I love sharktopus as a kid and I still love him now. Putting him up against indominus would be so cool to see and you could get creative in the battle like have other dinosaurs interfering in the fight, have people in there, have some Jurassic park/ sharktopus movie references and the death would look awesome.
The track itself is amazing! I love everything second of it! I love the music references in both Jurassic park, and sharktopus theme and I love this part of the song 3:13 also I definitely recognize this part 4:07 I’ve heard that in the intro of sharktopus movie or was it the end of the movie but anyway, thank you so much Therewolf for making this masterpiece!

both are genetically-engineered intelligent hybrid monsters (indominus being a hybrid of a T-rex, velociraptor, cuttlefish, tree frog, and various other theropod DNA and sharktopus is a hybrid of a great white, and octopus and has spikes on his gills) created by shady companies (InGen and Blue Water). both had a purpose (indominus was made for entertainment in Jurassic world and sharktopus was made for the military) but broke free from there containment and begin rampaging. both love to kill for fun meaning that they don’t just eat there prey, they kill it and just leave it there dead. Besides devouring and slaughtering humans, they both killed and confronted other creatures during their rampage (Sharktopus has fought other hybrid monsters such as Pteracuda, the I-rex butchers a whole herd of sauropods, a Ankylosaurus, and nearly kills Rexy). Both are a hybrid of a very popular animal (T-Rex and great white shark). Both are from sci-fi media (SyFy movies and the Jurassic Park/World series). Both ultimately died facing aquatic creatures (The Sharktopus in Sharktopus VS Whalewolf lost its fight against whalewolf and the I-rex was eaten by the Mosasaurus). After their demise, fractions of them (a rib bone and a heart) sneakily collected by mercenaries and would be the main key element to create new creatures to continue their terror and their legacy (Indoraptor and possibly a sharktopus clone). Theres also a similar role in there movies were the human antagonist (Vic Hoskins and Nathan stands) send a group of people to capture them alive but they end up killing the group which the protagonist (Owen Grady and Andy Flynn) knew that these monsters can not be kept alive due to there killing rampage and had help with a female friend that were a part of the monsters being created (Claire Dearing and Nicole stands).
For those who haven’t seen sharktopus, he can walk (and breath) on land and most of his fights are on land.

Sharktopus is actually a Shark with the DNA of a Octopus.
Indominus is a dinosaur with a little bit of chameleon thrown in for good measure, while Sharktopus is just a shark mixed with an octopus and that's it.

I never thought I would want to see a fight between a shark and a dinosaur
Indominus gonna enjoy some Calamari with a side of shark fin soup tonight. Took being slammed through 2 buildings and a bite from the submarine crushing Mosasaurus and wasn’t dead until it was drowned by Mosey. If we use books, Rex, one of Indy’s genetic templates, was extremely adept at swimming, only drowning due to tranquilizers kicking in. Sharktopus doesn’t swim away from this.

I’m not even a Jurassic Park fan but this honestly has me thinking about the crazy potential there for content, always love when a matchup can do that! And love that incorporation of the JP theme, sweetness
Carnage VS Fleetway and Indominus VS Sharktopus in one day. What a time to be alive.
When I first saw the trackart for this, I just knew how freaking dumb that matchup would be. But I'd be damned if I said that I wasn't smiling like a child at the thought of it.
And the music encapsulates this feeling absolutely perfectly. It knows the matchup is dumb as all hell in all the right ways and doesn't take itself seriously at all for most of it, only getting serious when needed.
The way it begins with a very tense and atmospheric sound only to shift tables around and directly lead into an over-joyed Jurassic Park theme is just the perfect representation of what I said above: the song doesn't take itself seriously. "Look at this oh-so wonderful place, I sure hope nothing happens to it in a few seconds as two giant monster-hybrids fight in it !" is what it conveys to me.
And that's reinforced when the song finally picks up at 0:43 in an even less serious guitar segment. I imagine that this would just break the pretty atmosphere of the aforementioned Jurassic Park theme as the two would enter the frame, already fighting while every passerby is just running for their lives around them.
However it is quite interesting to note that after this we get an orchestral background that slowly picks up, giving the song a more serious tone and culminating at 1:08 when, for a bit, the song actually gets serious to remind the listener that, while it's true that they're not taking themselves seriously, those two are still pretty freaking dangerous things.
This doesn't last long however as we get back to the regularly scheduled over the top segments at 1:31. However this time the bits are periodically cut by more epic and serious parts to emphasize the danger that the two still pose to everything around them while keeping their funkyness still present.
This then culminates back at 2:21-2:43 as we get another over the top Jurassic Park segment which I assume would probably be a sky shot of the two fighting with absolutely everything going to hell around the two in a grandiose cinematic parody of the beginning.
Then we get a moment that is actually quite surprising as the song shifts into an actually epic segment at 2:44 to start the final act of the song. This shows a drastic change in the song from this over the top and non-serious track to something that is genuinely epic and actually orchestral.
The song still doesn't take itself seriously, of course. Because it's still a giant dinosaur and sharktopus fighting. But it plays on that by making an extremely epic ending (the type of thing you'd see in an actual sharktopus movie with a character jumping in slow-motion in a shark with a freaking chainsaw or something) of grandiose scale that picks up in intensity as the two creatures are fighting, quite literally, tooth and nail to kill the other for good as all the park is just crumbling down around them, explosions sounding absolutely everywhere for no gosh damn reason as they both get closer and closer to defeating their enemy with each swipe and bite.
And then we get the finale at 3:43-4:10 as this intensity reaches its climax and we get a brutal stop for a damn orchestral ending to the song as one of the creatures lays defeated on the ground, the other roaring triumphantly over their enemy's corpse as we get a far shot of the burning area, fully taking in the complete devastation that took place.
Overall this song is unironically absolutely everything I wanted it to be: it doesn't take itself seriously at almost all times and gives us a funky and catchy theme truly fit for characters like Indominus and especially Sharktopus. It's a joke and it knows it and it takes that role absolutely wonderfully: It knows when to be epic or when to just be funny, all to keep that same atmosphere. I truly congratulate Therewolf there because it's not something that's easy to do at all and yet he absolutely blasted it out of the park. Seriously, during the whole listening and writing of this review I was (and still am) smiling like an idiot at the implications and the imagination of the scenes that'd take place with the song. This is, unironically, a fantastic song. Absolutely grandiose job with this.

As someone who actually wrote my own Fanon Death Battle ages ago for this matchup, seeing and hearing this track is both incredibly weird yet amazingly satisfying. Kudos to @westpion8451 for the indirect detour down memory lane!
I'm arguably most hyped for this track, big fan of Jurassic Park/World and I think Sharktopus is cool, despite never watching a movie from it.
Edit: This certainly didn't fail to deliver. It's a banger, and I love the usage of the Jurassic Park opening theme.

Edit 3: Last edit for this, I swear. Anyways, I hope this fight actually happens sometime in season 10 or 11, it's actually very popular. Me and many others would love to see it happen someday.
The top claw mark has a shark eye, the middle has the Indominus' eye, and the bottom has the tentacle coming out of it.

So how would this fight start? The indominus chasing some tourists into the water in hopes of escaping her only to be dragged under and eaten by sharktopus?
Based on the music, I'm assuming we see the Indominus walking near a aquatic area (assuming no people are nearby) and then the Sharktopus emerges from the water and theh fight.

I think it'd go like this.
Indominus would be walking around an abandoned Jurassic World (i'll just go like indominus survived world for fight purposes) before stopping near an aquatic enclosure, still filled with all kinds of different creatures.
Then suddenly, a larger-than-life shark starts charging at the glass the Indominus is looking through, with that shark of course being Sharktopus.
Indominus backs up before Sharktopus smashes through the glass, with a shard slightly cutting Indominus.
The next shot is then a drop of blood falling to the ground. Sharktopus then smells it and immediately goes into a frenzy, charging straight at Indominus.
The fight then finally starts.

@@donttalenostory1905 Building lvl, Jurassic Park theropods consistently tear through large metal fences and concrete buildings, took down armored dinosaurs and sauropods weighing more than 7 to 20 tons, and even throw large vehicles possibly around 20 tons like a ragdoll, all valid attack potency feats that overwhelm Sharktopus's wanked durability.
Sharktopus rarely has destructive feats of his own.

@@donttalenostory1905 Indominus is more impressive as he broke through advanced facility and military buildings and a massive zipline tower designed by the InGen, and scales above the Spinosaurus which easily tore apart the extremely durable Brad X.
Sharktopus only has one building lvl feat, by breaking a lighthouse and it pails in comparison since lighthouses are hollow and barely made of metal.

This fight all depends on if the Indominus Rex can keep Sharktopus on land for a long enough time. Much like the 2nd half of its namesake, Sharktopus can survive on land but only for a short time. The same thing can be said for Sharktopus. If it can somehow get or drag the Indominus Rex into the water deep enough, it'll score the big W.
Sharktopus is too weak to hurt Indy, and in the novel, Rexy, one of Indominus’ templates, was an extremely adept swimmer. Sharky got no chance.
