Sauron defeated Finrod and captured them all. Finrod than went on to die fighting a wolf-like beast while imprisoned, killing it and saving Beren in the process. I would like to think that at the last lines of the song that Sauron looks at the listener aware of something staring at him. Letting them know that even our reality is not beyond his reach. Just when The opening of your Black Legion song reminded me of the Mordor Theme, you've gone and made a song for Sauron, love the inclusion of the "Ash Nazg Durbatuluk, Ash Nazg Gimbatul, Ash Nazg Thrakatuluk, Agh Burzum-Ishi Krimpatul" from what's inscribed on the One Ring, all of the Black Speech being added is a really nice touch to the song as a whole.
I understand your perspective, but Sauron is the great deceiver and he appears very good, and trustworthy, but deep down he is evil, and later he reveals it. He played as a huge deceiver in rings of power becuase he needed to create the rings. But later on we see his true darkside in the hobbit and lord of the rings.

But its the way they went about his deception that rubs me the wrong way. He sounds more like a nagging housewife than a manipulator. And added in their own little lore bits such as being hunted by the orcs. Not mentioning the cringy acting and lame storytelling. If they added bits into the story to manify it like they did with Legolas, I would have been thrilled. But overall I do agree with you in book terms :>

A cool song about Sauron. It turned out to be especially cool to introduce a unique language, namely the "Black Dialect". Great voice. The song clearly shows the nature of the Dark Lord.

Alright... Now I really wanna see what you would manage to get out of the Lich King. Specifically Arthas Menethil as the Lich King.
Arthas before and After Frostmourne, Nerzhul, and Bolvar Foredragon are all very different characters and while I think Arthas Menethil and the Lich King could be separate songs I think the best option is to do something like what was done to the Emperors Children.
